Description of Work: We had mice/rats in the walls and attic of our house. They inspected all the outside and sealed up all the holes and openings. They put traps out in the attic and other locations. They come back every 2-3 days to check the traps. Very responsive.

 + -1 moreThis year I had a new set of moles take up residency in my lawn. Since I was pleased with their work last year, I had no hesitancy in hiring Brat's again this year. When they arrived, I happened to mention to them I had a problem with birds entering my attic spaces. They did an inspection of the roof areas and found 7 possible entry points. They took the time to educate me on a problem common to our area of the country and ndash; roof rats and squirrels in attics. I didn't even know there was such a thing as a roof rat!!! They indicated gaps in home construction are not uncommon and provide access for unwanted guests. I am fortunate the issue was addressed prior to something more than birds entering in my attic!!! Once again, they rid my lawn of moles within a few visits. I have been extremely pleased both times I have hired this company. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future nor would I hesitate to recommend them to others. It is refreshing to find a service company which appears to take pride in their work and want to please the customer!!!
Description of Work: I've used the services offered by Brat's Animal and Mole Control twice. The first time was last year for moles. I live next to a wooded area and moles made their way into my property. I contacted Brat's and they came to my home and surveyed the damage caused by the moles. They provided an estimate of the work to be performed, which I felt was a reasonable amount and I hired them. They were able to eradicate my lawn and flower beds of all moles within a few visits.

 + -1 moreRoss came out within one business day after we called him. He spent over 5-6 hours scrambling all over our house... roof, attic, eaves, etc. to confirm that we had squirrels in our attic, identify where they were entering and where in the attic they were traveling and nesting. He set traps and returned every day until he was satisified that he had caught all of the squirrels - caught a mom and 2 babies in the attic, and an additional adult squirrel outside on the roof. He then closed the holes that the squirrels had made to gain access. He guaranteed his work for 90 days. He was very professional and clearly knew what he was doing. We had a prior company come out prior to Ross that clearly were novices - they did not solve our problem, could not answer questions, and wanted to charge us more money to close the holes. Overall they would have cost more and we had no confidence in them. Ross charges fair prices and spends the time needed to do the job right. We would hire him again in a second.
Description of Work: Ross removed 3 squirrels from our attic and identified and closed the openings where they were entering.

Description of Work: We had squirrelsl in our attic. Brat's estimate was much lower than the competitor's and his trapping and exclusion plan seemed sound. We no longer have squirrels in the attic and were very pleased with work completed.

Description of Work: I had 5 squirrels and one roof rat in my attic. Workman arrived on time and always called before he was arriving to alert me he was on his way. I had a hole by my chimney where the animals were getting in and several areas around my roof where they had chewed my roof. All holes were fixed and covered with screen so no future animals could get in. Workman took pictures of the problems on the roof to show me where I had problems. I was very pleased with the work and professionalism of this company. I will definitely keep this company in my address book to use in the future.

 + -1 moreAs soon as we heard the scratching noise in the attic, we knew we had a problem. Called Ross at BRATS - he came out immediately, inspected, saw the openings that the squirrel had created, set a trap, caught the squirrel, and repaired the holes. He also upgraded some old mesh screening over vents that, while not yet a problem, could be in the future. Ross is dependable and works fast.
Description of Work: BRATs trapped and removed a squirrel from our attic and patched rotten wood to prevent other animals from entering in the future.

Description of Work: Prompt and professional removal of a roof rat that had taken up residence in our attic. In addition to trapping the animal, all outside holes and entrances to the attic were properly sealed to prevent another animal from entering.

 + -1 moreThe contractor was very professional, thorough, polite, showed up on time, and was flexible as to working into my schedule. In all, five squirrels were trapped/removed (they were released into the wild far away) and two moles were killed. A total of 19 roof gaps/entry points were sealed. The work comes with a 90-day guarantee (attic).
Description of Work: I called this vendor because of squirrels and birds in the attic and moles in the yard. The initial inspection cost $65, The subsequent payment for trapping and removing the squirrels, a roof inspection and sealing all the attic entrance points, and setting mole traps came to $1064 which included return visits to check traps and remove pests. The attic and mole were estimated separately (About 80% was attic/20% mole). The estimate included a cost to seal each gap but did not predict how many gaps there might be.

When I found that he had started his own animal control, I knew I wanted to give him my business because he cares about your problem and does a good job. He did as I expected; he got the job done.
Description of Work: Captured 2 squirrels (one had been chewing wires) and removed. Did a full house inspection. Sealed holes and roof vents. Left traps to capture any that remained. His work has a 90 day warranty.
