Mark and Richard and his crew are great people. They arrived on time and did a great job installing my Mitsubishi split system in both the downstairs work room and upstairs mancave area. Not just anyone can install these ductless systems and Richard knows what he's doing, these guys are professionals. They explained everything they were doing, did it in an efficient manner, and cleaned up everything behind them. They also ran a new natural gas pipe and rewired the circuit for my new gas range, again, excellent job.This is the second job I've had Melton do at my house and I strongly recommend them for anything you need done. Great people and great company to deal with.

They are really good. I have been doing business with them for a couple of years. They are absolutely wonderful. The whole crew over there treats me like family. They come twice a year and service our heating and air. I get two checkups; one in the spring and one in the summer. If I sign a contract with them for a year’s service they come out twice for $130. They call me and remind me when I just set up a date. I had really got the screws put to us by a heating air company that went out of business. They had sold mom a warranty on her heating air condition so then he went out business and the air condition broke the very next year. A friend had told to call Melton and we called them out and they looked it over. When they went to do warranty work on it we got to find out that the guy hadn’t paid for the warranty and they worked with Frigid Air in Mountain View company and Frigid Air allowed mom to go back a year and purchase that warranty and at first Melton didn’t want to do it as it was not their problem but they finally got them to do that, otherwise it would have been a $3000 job and that guy really screwed my mother. Melton’s came in and saved her. They worked with Frigid Air on every single day. They really care about the customer and if you have any concerns or anything they will work with you. If you call them anytime they will drop whatever and make sure I am taken care of even if I am calling or texting them in the middle of the night or the weekends and there is no extra charge. They deserve every ‘A’ they get.

It has been excellent. Any time we have any questions they are always, they have been available to answer any questions. If we have any problems they are always out. They are very punctual, the quality system that they sold us we are very pleased with as to what we have had before that. I recommended them to friends and the friends have called me back and said I'm so glad you told me about them.

The Melton Heating and Air Conditioning technicians arrived at the promised time along with all the heating and air conditioning equipment that they were going to install. They efficiently placed the equipment at the worksite and within 5 hours had taken out the old units and neatly installed the new units. In a couple cases where the original wiring in my house was not adequate for the thermostat and fan motors they installed adequate wiring and fittings with no extra charge. At the end of the installation they answered all of my questions about the equipment and left the work site clean and neat. The professional attitude shown by the men gives me confidence that the job was well done and we will have many years of trouble free performance from the furnace and air conditioner.

, The service visits over the past year and a half following installation of the home units remedied the following problems: 1) new A/C exhaust water pump had to be replaced, 2) the emergency heat feature on the heat pump was discovered by Melton's serviceman to have been improperly wired so that it was not available (no hazard), 3) ducts had separated from the heat pump because of a poor taping job only discovered after high heating bills. To be fair the problems were solved at no extra charge and the company's service personnel are attentive, helpful, and professional. I wish I could recover the high heating bills!

Our heat went out on New Year's Eve. Melton Heating & Air was right on it and were very knowledgeable and helpful, especially during that time of year. It was very stressful and they did a fantastic job.

The furnace works, so it was an very expensive success. The repairman was great, very nice and professional. The only complaint is the price. The website link shows a $69 service call rate. I was charged $89. 4 hours of labor cost me $690. Then of course there was another part not working that was not originally diagnosed. The part was under warranty, but there was another $140 in labor charged for replacing it. Altogether it cost me $919 for about 5 hours of labor.

They have just been Johnny-on-the-spot when I have called them with problems with the heat system. Before it had to be replaced, they came out and were extremely polite. They were on time. They explained the issues extremely well.

ENGINEERING EVALUATION BY QUALIFIED PERSONNEL WITH EXPERTISE TO NAVIGATE THE HOME OWNER THROUGH EACH PHASE OF THE OPERATION. IT IS BELIEVED THE PREVIOUS CONTRACTOR DID NOT HAVE THE MATHEMATICAL SKILLS NECESSARY TO CALCULATE CF AND HEAT LOADS AS REQUIRED TO SUPPORT COMFORT AND ENERGY SAVINGS. ALSO, INSTALLERS WERE DETAILED ORIENTATED AND REFUSED TO TAKE SHORTCUTS THAT WOULD SAVE TIME AND MONEY FOR THE CONTRACTOR. BEFORE WORK STARTED THE JOB WAS WELL PLANNED AND ALL NEEDED RESOURCES MADE AVAILABLE TO MEET THE CONTRACTOR AND HOME OWNER'S SCHEDULE.

eftThe individual who was to bid on the job was delayed and the company at the last minute phoned and substituted another employee in order to keep the original appointment. We later met with the original employee to review and modify the plan originally presented based on our concerns and needs. Both were courteous and well informed about their product, providing creative suggestions to resolve some of our concerns with our original HVAC equipment--mainly noise and uneven heating. Their goal seemed to be to provide the most efficient equipment for our needs and they were very direct about the advantages and disadvantages of various options which they could offer based on their experience over time. We were assured that the compressor on the new unit would be insulated, but when it arrived at the company, the salesperson noticed it was not included (the manufacturer had revised it's practice and no longer uses sound insulation on that unit because it did not appear to be as effective in testing as they originally thought). Ryan, our sales rep, knowing this was a major concern of ours, made sure there was an insulating blanket installed in our unit, reporting this to us on the day of the installation Another concern was a noisy air return which they were able to quell by replacing a metal duct with a flexible duct, resulting in much quieter air movement. I also mentioned an unsightly installation of a gas vent and wondered if this could be modified. When the unit was installed, this issue was also addressed without my having to mention it further. On installation day, the crew arrived on time and worked diligently until the job was completed. They were courteous and quick to respond to questions and/or concerns. They gave instructions regarding the maintenance of the equipment and cleaned their work area prior to leaving. We were very satisfied with the quiet operation of the new equipment as well as the modifications they made to theexisting ductwork and venting system. We could not be more satisfied.

Great. I called Melton's en route to work just after 8 a.m. Monday. Scheduled an appointment in minutes. They gave me two one-hour time slots to choose from (11 a.m. to noon and noon to 1 p.m.). Service tech showed up - actually was there early. Had I been home I would have been done early, but I came from work. The guy asked me some basic questions and listened to the answers. Very professional and friendly. Got the tools he needed and went right to work. Figured out what was wrong quickly. Had the replacement part (one year warranty) in his van. Filled out the ticket and called in my credit card from the sidewalk on front of my house. I was able to go back to work in about half an hour.

They were very good about explaining how I could figure a correct system and were prepared to calculate everything. I was very pleased with them. I thought that their price was fair for what I got. I once had a problem getting in touch with them. I would use them again and I would recommend them.

I really liked them. They cleaned the coil on my air conditioning unit which I don’t think has ever been done. I would use them in future.

Showed up on time, however it was expensive. Ask for an estimate befor they repair anything. Had i known what he was going to charge me i would have have said no and done it myself. It was obvious once inside the unit.

The compressor for our ancient downstairs system failed and the whole HVAC was so old that complete replacement was the only thing to do. First, the estimate was handled very professionally. The salesman spent well over an hour measuring and assessing our requirements. While expensive, I believed we were getting a high quality, highly efficient system for our needs. Installation spread over 4 days with as many as 4 men working at once to remove the old unit, rework ducts, and install the new equipment. I was entirely satisfied with their workmanship and professionalism. I appreciated the follow through by the supervisor and salesman to insure everything was taken care of correctly.

Service employees were 45 minutes late for first appointment of the day. Cleaned and checked unit. Said everything was working fine. Didn't try to sell me a service contract. Price was about $20 more than I would expect to pay for this service.

We had scheduled an appointment for A/C repair with this company for a Saturday. They never showed up, were unable to be reached by phone, and didn't call us back until Tuesday to apologize.

We have a whole house filter and the filters are fairly big. Originally they filters were $43 and they told me to just call when I wanted them to come out to install one since they were close. They kept going up on their prices and soon went up to $50 a piece. Eventually I went to the Internet and found another company that would give me two of the exact same filters including shipping that would only cost $70 which saved me money. I feel like they don't need to charge so much for their filters. Overall, I think that they are a good company it just seems that their support staff is a little bit disorganized.

2 workers showed up right on time and were very courteous and nice. The assessed the stove, crawlspace, and said things should be pretty straightforward. It took them about 3 hours to run the new line from the meter through my crawlspace. My dogs were barking at them the whole time and they didn't bat an eye. They finished the work, showed me how the gas-line worked, and showed me how to light the range until I have a new outlet installed. Very knowledgeable. When they were testing the gas line we found that the company that had replaced my old gas furnace with an electric heat pump hadn't capped of the stinking gas line. They capped it off for me, free of charge. I am renovating my kitchen and they offered to move my stove for me when I have new cabinets in - I just need to call back. Super super nice.

It went very well. They did exactly what was written up in the estimate. The job started with the salesman introducing the job supervisor to us. The salesman made sure everything got started and on the right track. They arrived promptly and worked until job was done. They had a crew of 3 - 5 that worked from 8:30 until completed in the afternoon. Everyone was courteous. They checked the airflow with a meter after completion on each duct and balanced where necessary. They showed us the work they completed. Their work was neat and they cleaned up completely after the job was complete.

They do a good job of keeping our unit in perfectly working order. In fact, we have been using them for a good decade now and they are very trustworthy and dependable. The price of the unit came with a couple of years of maintenance checks so I am not sure what they are going to charge me after that but our system costs us $8500. It really wouldn't be fair of me to grade them as far as price goes because we didn't check any other companies price before we had our system installed.

This was the second unit they have installed for us. We were so pleased with their quality of professionalism that we wanted to call them back. They are easy to talk to and we knew they were trustworthy from past experiences. They explained their services in full detail and answered any of my questions that I had. They were also very clean.

I have them come out for regular checkups on my unit for preventative maintenance. The guy was friendly, thorough, and he even rinsed the outside unit out for me while he was out here. I value their service because I knew I could count on my unit when I needed it and that they would back their inspection work.

They showed up as scheduled. They gave me an estimate and stuck really close to it. They were very skilled crew. They were very professional in our home. They cleaned up after they were done. We appreciated their services.
