Called a couple of Plumbing Companies to get an estimate on my two toilets in my home. One toilet when fushed was very slow to refill the tank. The other one was flushing fine, but had become loose at the base-floor. This particular company was based out of Cleveland , so I asked if it would be worth their time to come to Chatta. for this job.I only talked with the owner's wife up until the two plumbers arrived. First of all, she never mentioned the fact that two would come and secondly she said that they would already be in Chatta. that morning on another job. I had explained to her what my problems with the toilets were and that I would like to get an estimate before they came if at all possible. She asked to hold and went to talk wtih her husband. She then told me that he had said the most it would be would be up to $150.00, but more than likely much less than that unless he had to replace the seal (which they did not) The two men arrived the next afternoon. They were in my home less than 20 minutes to fix both toilets. May have been at the house 30( they were out at their truck on a cell phone part of that time). When they came back in, they said I owed them $150.00. I paid by check, I was never offered an explanation as why the charge was so much . I was not given or offered an itemized receipt explaining the $150.00 for less than 20 minutes of work. I later called and talked with the owner's wife and asked her why I was charged the $150.00 when she had lead me to believe that it would be much less. She said she didn't know and that she would check into the situation and let me know. Whcih she never got back to me. So, I emailed them and asked for an itemized receipt showing exactly what the $150.00 charge was for. Their explanation was $50.00 for a toilet fill valve and shims. And $100.00 for time for two plumbers. How this company ever got on Angie's List is a mystery to me and they certainly don't deserve to respresent Angie's List for they are not a reputable company who is honest and charges a fair price for the work they do. I will not use this company again nor would I recommend them to anyone.

I purchased two of their coupons as a gift for my friend. Norman Plumbing was very promp in returning her call (even though it was Sunday). They were also very good about keeping me informed as to what was happening. An appointment was able to be made with a couple of days. Her sink was fixed and no longer leaks. However, the other problem was beyond the scope of the two hour coupons I purchased. (not his fault, I just couldn't afford more.) The only reason I wouldn't use them again is I live in GA and Norman Plumbing is only lisecened in TN.

Everything was repaired as asked in good time. Workers were cuorteous and explained what was done.

The installation and repair went very well considering all of the problems encountered with the install of the commode, and having to build a line so the commode would fit as it was suppose to. The only hold up was Home Depot. I guess my lesson learned may be to use a plumbing warehouse for supplies if I ever encounter another problem! Norman Plumbing did an excellent job under the circumstances.

Bobby came out and did all of the work. Had some issues with the new water heater not matching the old heaters gas line. It took him longer than expected but in the end was very professional. Would definitely use Norman Plumbing again.

We called Norman plumbing because we had a hot water leak and we couldn't figure out why. Bobby came right out the day that we called. He shut off the power and water to our water heater, helped us label the circuit board correctly so we could find the shut off in the future, and looked at the hot water heater. He told us that we had a bad pop off valve, ran to Lowe's for the part, and had it fixed in less than an hour. Since he was so efficient, we had him go ahead and install a faucet that we had been needing to install and look at a shower in the guest bathroom. The faucet had been leaking water constantly so we had shut the water off to that bathtub. Another plumber had told us that we needed new shower hardware and that he would have to go through the sheetrock on the other side of the wall to install it. We didn't have the money at the time, so we did without that shower. However, Bobby told us that he could fix it with a couple of tiny springs from Lowe's, which he did. It works great, and he gave a us the Angie's List coupon for $200 of work for $100. We will definitely call him again, very honest and hardworking.

I needed to replace my tankless water heater. After Mr. Norman looked at it, I decided to purchase a new gas water heater. Mr Norman met me at Home Depot where we purchased the water heater and supplies. He went back several times for parts to complete the installation. He went above and beyond the call of duty. The Normans ( Mr. Norman was assisted by his wife )were a blessing to work with. I am pleased to give this recommendation for Mr. Norman.

I called and left a message requesting an estimate to repair a leaking kitchen sink; my call was promptly returned that same afternoon, and an appointment was scheduled for Friday afternoon at 3:30 pm. I took annual leave to be home for the scheduled appointment, and at 4:30 pm a young man pulled up in a personal car (with his girlfriend in the passenger seat) and knocked on the door; he was wearing a Norman Plumbing shirt, but as he had no tools in hand, it was obvious that he would not be working on my sink that day. He took a quick look at the sink, and advised the plumber was help up on another job; he asked if they could reschedule for the following day....same time. I agreed to the rescheduled appointment, but expressed my frustration that I had wasted annual leave on a no-show appointment. In fairness, the plumber said he tried to call me earlier that day, but there was limited cell service in the area where the plumber was working, so I didn't receive the call. So, on Saturday as 3:30 pm approached, the same young gentleman arrived...again in personal car and with no tools. Same story...plumber held up on another job in a different county, and would I mind rescheduling to Monday. I was dumbfounded!! Based on reviews posted on Angie's List, I was looking forward to receiving excellent service at a good price, but I couldn't believe that this business could be so disrespectful of their customer's time and patience! I reluctantly agreed, and was promised that they would definitely be there on Monday afternoon to perform the needed plumbing repairs. On Monday at the scheduled time, the young gentlemen arrived (again in personal car), with a drill box and a couple of plumber's wrenches. I note the "personal car" only to highlight that the hired plumber never arrived to perform the job. When I asked when the plumber was going to arrive, I was told that he was still held up on the other job, and that he would be making the repairs. When asked, he said he was a plumber's apprentice. He was very courteous and professional at all times (and at each of the three visits), and successfully repaired my sink. As he had limited tools/equipment with him, he had to run to the local hardware store for parts as he performed the repair to my sink. Total repair time was less than one hour. The plumber called that evening at 7:30 pm to see if I was satisfied with his service. I let him know that I was displeased he never arrived at my home to perform the repairs, and that it took three separate appointments before repairs were made. He seemed to think that sending his assistant to perform the repairs was acceptable, and didn't seem too apologetic about the fact that he made a new customer spend three afternoons waiting to be serviced. In retrospect, if the apprentice could have made the repairs (as he finally did on the third appointment), why didn't he repair the sink on the first appointment?!

From my first call, I was treated courteously. On his timely arrival, he was quick to introduce himself and give a hand shake. He explained what the issues were and pointed out extra information for my use. He replaced a leaky spigot, stopped leaking under two sinks and fixed a toilet which had a busted flanged, causing a loose toilet. Booby Norman and his assistant were true professionals.

Actually met us at Home Depot to recommend the best model, and loaded them up and carried them home for us. Installed both timely and without incident. Very professional and helpful. Would definitely use them again for plumbing issues.

We were a little nervous because we were stressed and needed our shower fixed ASAP. Even though we know nothing about home improvement, he put our minds at ease.

He is a good, honest, Christian, hardworking and prompt man. I have no qualms about leaving him in my home alone. His prices are very reasonable and he knows what he is doing. He is a very kind-hearted person, I have found a gem. I highly recommend him.

Camera found major clog in the bend of pipe . He showed the clog to me and my wife and explained how it happened and what he could do to fix the problem.
