Part was in stock and arrived in a few days. Online instructions, Q&A issues, etc. were great except for that they assume you know how to get the "shell" off of the machine, and that was one of the hardest parts. Some parts snap off, but you don't want to just start prying things off that possibly don't pry and break them. The repair itself wasn't that difficult. Part worked, and washing machine is running again. Price was fair (about $175), but could have gotten it for about $100 on another site with a very stringent return policy. I guess part of what you are paying for is the ability to return the part if it doesn't work or if that wasn't what was wrong with your machine. It was worth it to me to pay more since I really wasn't sure I would be able to do the repair - very new to me. Still saved me over $250 for the installation. I was quoted $409 plus tax ($447 here) by two different repairmen, and paid only $175 plus about an hour and a half of our time. A pro could have done the job in less than 30 minutes so we would have been paying an awful lot for a repairman to do something we could do ourselves. Thanks so much!

I went online to look for a lid switch for my Whirlpool washer. I checked several websites and none were as inexpensive as AAP (they had a MUCH lower price) and since they showed good credentials (BBB, etc.) I decided to give them my business. I ordered online at about 5 PM eastern time, asking for standard shipping (you know, the cheapest). 22 HOURS later I had the part in my hand. That is the fastest service I've EVER heard of. I installed the switch (YES, it was the exactly right part) and the washer is back in service. I can't say enough good things about these guys. Try them. You'll like them. It was great, I ordered the part on a Monday and I believe that it arrived the following Wednesday. When I read that it was a 3 to 7 day shipping window. I was counting on it being at least 2 weeks. I was more that pleasantly surprised. The part came packaged safely and securely. I would have thought they were shipping my grandmothers wedding china, the way that the part was packaged. It went perfectly. My oven was working in broil mode, but not bake mode. I worked with one of the service representatives at APP to determine what the issue was with the oven. I thought I had found the correct replacement part on their website, asked Brent to check it for me, and found I was looking at the wrong part. He showed me the correct one, and made sure I was able to get my order placed for shipment the following morning. I have used this company many times to order parts for out appliances. The web site is easy to use and has complete diagrams of the appliances so you can determine which part you need. The people that are available to help are extremely knowledgeable about appliance repair and have answered several questions that helped with parts replacement. Delivery cost is reasonable and very fast. Most parts come in two days for $6.95. Their prices are usually better than another web service I have used.

All aspects went well. The web site was easy to use. I liked that the pictures of the items had a grid background showing the exact size of the item. I liked that the feature where I could enter the exact model number of my stove-top, and the feature would tell me whether or not the part was compatible with my stove-top. I also called customer service to answer a question, which they did. While on hold waiting for a live customer service person, I liked that the audio counted down the number of waiting callers who were ahead of me. Also, the part arrived at my home faster that I expected (1 or 2 days) - I just selected the cheapest delivery option. FYI - After the order was complete, I was then offered some $2 for a year's magazine subscription of popular magazines. I don't usually sign up, but I did. I'll have to let you know how that goes - of course you don't have to sign up.

I needed to order 2 parts for my refrigerator. It was extremely easy to order and find the parts specific to my appliance. Great that a picture is provided to compare the part. I had purchased one of the parts before from a local company and they gave me the wrong part. They also would not take a return on it because it was electrical, even though it had not been opened or used in any way.
