The cost includes a service of the heating unit, cooling unit and they come out to inspect all the plumbing which I think is a fabulous deal and I've been pretty happy with everything they've done. They are very polite, they always wear those paper booties when they come in the house to make sure they don't get anything dirty. They come in, do their stuff and they are very professional. I have no complaints.

My overall experience with Hiller involves multiple encounters. My house was built in 2007 and Hiller installed the heating/cooling unit originally. The unit is a Goodson, so it's not top-of-the-line anyway, but I have two Goodson units. I have only ever had problems with the larger unit, and I called Hiller for service believing that the continuity of their attention would be preferable. The first service call was to service the compressor, which needed to be replaced (under warranty since it was barely a year old). In the process of replacing the compressor, the serviceman voided all coolant from the system, didn't inform me of this, and failed to properly weld the new compressor lines where needed. The approximate service date of the last service was while I was deployed and my husband called them to charge the coolant. That was all that they did. They didn't check for leaks, despite the multiple service calls for our system. We had to have the system serviced again this summer, but contacted a different company due to our experiences with Hiller. The new company found the HUGE leak caused by the botched welding job, fixed it, and didn't even charge us for the fix. They did a lot of other work with the unit, too, and the overall cost was barely more than what Hiller charged us to do one of those services. I and lt;3 the new company and will use them for all future services. Although, I think we will need fewer service visits now. I cannot guess that the botched welding job was due to a lack of business ethics, but I can say that the subsequent visits and lack of attention to detail cost us a LOT of money over three short years.

They were supposed to come out on one day, but they ended up coming out for the following few days, which wasn't a big issue. They took $100 off the price. We have used them previously for a plumbing issue. I thought the price was pretty good. They are really good. They have been in the business for a long time. They are in the phone book. They have been in the community, and they have a good reputation. When we called, they came out right away.

I thought the estimate was very high. Their representative was very nice. In fact, he stayed and did some work that he was supposed to charge for, but he didn't charge anything for it. He tried to locate the leak, but the water line wasn't where he had located it. He didn't accomplish what he wanted to accomplish at all.

When I called, the lady on the phone was very nice and patient with all my questions. And despite having no open appointments, they put me down as a "work-in," and not 45 minutes later i received a phone call that a technician was free and on the way. My plumber's name was Mike, who was very professional and explained to me the problem and what had caused it, and he did the job neatly and quickly. The prices were explained as well, which was a relief. I am glad to have called Hiller.

They responded the very next day on time and clean and very proffesional and told me what needed fixed and what it would cost before fixing it and gave me a quote for a water booster seeing that the local water provider wasn't giving a lot of pressure.

Everyone was very friendly from the phone service to the men who came. They misdiagnosed the problem. They wanted to charge me over $500 to put a hole in my ceiling and replace all the pipes and leave the ceiling with a hole in it. All this and the pipes weren't the problem. I got another estimate from Patrick Plumbing and the guy fixed it with no issues or holes anywhere for $100. If you need real plumbing done do not call Hiller, they are just trained repairmen with no real plumbing experience.
