We had called to get an estimate on running a propane gas line from our fireplace to the tank. We had a new home built and the gas line wasn't run because they didin't know where the propane gas company would set the tank. To begin with they said it cost fifty dollars for an estimate, which should have been a clue right then not to get them. Then when they came they give us an estimate of almost 700.00 dollars. We had more work than that done by Baggets back a few years ago and they only charged us 75 dollars and they had more work to do. I know prices have gone up but that is rediculous. So we are out fifty dollars but I guess a lesson well learned. If a place charges for an estimate tell them no and find someone else.

I had hired a company previously but they kind of beat around the bush and were rude. I have a tenant and she called me about the problem so I ended up hiring Alford plumbing. They checked with me to make sure the tenant had permission to do the fix on the house which was awesome. I have actually saved them in my phone and keeping them as my permanant plumber. I would totally recommend them.

I live out in farm country...They came out same day and fixed the problem in about 30 minutes. Worked effectively as a team, very professional and friendly. Price was very reasonable

They came and repaird a hot water faucet for the washing machine. They were able to come out on the same day that I called. The work done was great, and the price was phenomenal! Very professional and responsive. They even gave me an Angie's List discount.

Excellent! This was our first experience with Alford Plumbing after having been given an extremely reasonable quote for the job compared to our plumber of 27 yrs who was way out of line with his quote. We will be changing plumbers, for sure. The work was completed promptly, thoroughly and cleanly. Very very happy with Alford Plumbing.

Reined or call promptly. We're able to schedule is that day if we needed it, but had them come the next. Were incredibly friendly and professional. They replaced a seal underneath the toilet quickly. I would absolutely recommend them!

They answered the phone promptly, was very nice and professional. I informed them that I the city was coming out to turn on the water at a house we had just closed escrow on. I preferred to have them at the house to dewinterize it and check for leaks since the house had been vacant for several months. I called them back as soon as the city was on the way out to turn on the water and Alford plumbing came out within 30 minutes. Jeff and his assistant were very good. While they were at the house to dewinterize and inspect all the plumbing, we asked them to replace the plumbing inside two toilet tanks and the thermostat on the water heater. The pricing was fair and the quality of service was great. I would use the services of Alford plumbing again.

Our garbage disposal had caused a clog in our plumbing and it was backing up in our bathtub. YUCK! Alford Plumbing responded quickly and cleared the drain immediately and on top of that, it was after hours! The technician was fast and efficient, and we were able to get the problem solved and not have to go elsewhere for showers while we waited on a plumber. Alford Plumbing has been taking care of all our plumbing needs for a few years now and it is service like this that will keep us calling them back anytime we have a need to. We highly recommend them, a professional group of people who will treat you and your home as if it were theirs. I do not recall what I paid for this service, but I can say I gladly wrote the check for a job well done. The value I received was more than the money I paid!

They were amazing. Came quickly the next day and were in and out. It's nice being able to have hot water and hot showers in winter.

The pipe had leaked previously, but was fixed (not by Alford's) . When the weather turned very cold, the pipe started leaking again and was dripping a lot of water. We called late on Thursday afternoon, and they offered to come out then. Since it was close to closing time and we would have been charged for overtime, we decided to wait until Friday. They came out early Friday morning and replaced the leaking part of the pipe. We thought it was fixed, but it started leaking again after they left. We called them and the men came back immediately and fixed it a different way. It is working fine now. They also removed an old kitchen faucet and replaced it with a new one which already had been purchased. They charged exactly what they estimated over the phone. We were pleased with their work. We would recommend this company and use them again.

We went with them because they were able to get out the quickest despite the bad weather we were having here. They came fully equipped and ready to take care of the leak and they ended up replacing an entire pipe. The entire master bathroom plumbing had leaks across the whole line and they had to replace the entire pipe. They were very knowledge on what to do and why they were switching from copper piping to the new some kind of rubber plastic pipe. They did a good job explaining to us why it had pitted and leaking and they were here only for 2 hours and they replaced the entire pipe with 4 joints. So we were just impressed with how fast they were able to respond, how inexpensive and the quality of their work was completely when completed. We were afraid that we would be out of master bathroom and had to have the water off on the weekend when it was supposed to be freezing below 0 here.

Mr. Alford checked everything in the house for leaks and then moved to the outside. He immediately found the source of the leak, dug and repaired a cracked PVC pipe. Very professional, excellent pricing and just a good plumber!! In the future, should I need plumbing assistance, I will use Alford plumbing exclusively and recommend to all my family and friends.

Called plumbing company to unclog the toilet. While scheduling the service call, I mentioned the additional work. They offered to complete the entire list that day. The plumber was clean, timely, and professional. I had expected several hours to complete the 4 items on the list. To my surprise, he completed the entire list in just 1.5 hours. I monitored the progress of the work, and he didn't cut any corners. He did an excellent job. I would highly recommend anyone to use this company. They are prompt, clean, and cost effective. Couldn't be happier..

At 6 pm yesterday I discovered my toilet had a malfunctioning cut off valve. I had seen Alford's trucks around town so I called for a price on switching a toilet out for one I planned to purchase at Lowe's. The after hours phone was answered by Mr. Alford, who answered all my questions and told me Lowe's was open until 9 pm so if I got the new toilet he could switch it out the next day between 11 am to noon. He reviewed the parts required and what would be included in his price and what wouldn't. He told me to call back if I had any questions. Today he called me at 11:30 am to tell me he would be on site within 15 minutes. He arrived at 11:45 am and completed the project by 12:15 pm. He and his assistant were amiable, helpful, quick and professional. I highly recommend their reasonably priced services and plan on using them again for another project in the near future.

They also did some work on my husband’s medical office and did a good job. They got back with us right away and their prices are reasonable. They’re friendly and professional.

Our ancient garbage disposal fell apart and needed to be replaced. We called Alford for an estimate. They were much cheaper than the other places we called. They were able to recommend some reasonably priced options for the replacement and made an appointment for the very next day. They arrived on time and promptly completed the installation. The final charge was even less than their estimate on the phone and very reasonable for the speed and quality of the work done. It was well worth the call.

As my husband was leaving for work this morning, 05/24/2012, he noticed that my car was wet even though it had been parked in the garage all night. He moved my car and proceeded to find water dripping from the basement ceiling into the garage where I park. He looked in the master bathroom and the kitchen and could not locate the source of the leak. I immediately looked on Angie's List to find a plumber for my area. Alford Plumbing was the highest ranked provider on the list so I gave him a call at 7 a.m. this morning. By 9 a.m. the problem had been located and adequately fixed, all at a reasonable price. I would absolutely recommend Alford Plumbing and will definitely be using them for another plumbing problems that may occur in the future.

I called Alford Plumbing over the weekend and they offered to come out on Monday afternoon to do the job. Not only were they friendly and informative over the phone but when they arrived at our home, they were punctual, demonstrated a professional attitude, and were able to complete the job in minimal time and without any problems. Our kitchen sink and faucet were both leaking, so I called Alford Plumbing and left a message. They called me back the same day, and scheduled a date and time to come out. They came out only a couple of days after I called. Jeff was the plumber coming out to our house and he was running early, so he called to see if he could come out early. I was happy to get the work done as early as possible, so that was great. He introduced himself and came in, so I could show him the problems. He looked over what needed to be fixed, and all the items I had purchased to make sure it would all work. Unfortunately our old disposal wouldn't work with part of what I had purchased. He could have put our old disposal back in, but it would not have matched the rest of the sink and look as good. Luckily he had a new disposal in his truck that I could pay for, so I didn't have to run out and buy something else. It was so convenient! Jeff was extremely professional and efficient. He changed out our sink, attached the new faucet, and the new disposal. He let me know where the problems were. He also asked me how I would like things if there were choices, for example where the soap dispenser would go. He also changed out the faucet in our half bath, just for aesthetic purposes. When he was done he hauled all the garbage, including the old kitchen sink, away. He provided me with a receipt and explained everything on it, and it was incredibly affordable. I would highly recommend Alford Plumbing!
