When I have had a forgettable experience in the past, I usually don't complain, I simply don't call the provider again. But that's not what Angies List is all about, is it? I've been pleased with Angies List in the past, I needed some tree work done, and I chose Tree Worx, one of the A listers. I have a rental house with some trees and tree branches that are encroaching upon the power lines from the transformer to the house. Definitely my responsibility. I called Tree Worx and got an answering type service, the lady was very nice, took the info and said that someone would call. Unfortunately I got a return call about 830 that evening and was unable to take it, but they left a voice message. I'm busy like everyone else in this world, and was unable to return the call until 2 days later. I don't recall the gentleman's name, he may have been the owner, he was very nice and professional.I explained the problem as best I could, and was told that they handled that type of issue. The gentleman said he would be in that area of town on Monday( about 5 days away), and could give me a estimate( said they always give estimates 1st). He said he would call me before going to the house, so I could make the renters aware. Up to this point, all is good. Although I'm not fond of the answering service initial contact and return calls " after hours", I get it. It's a tough business environment out there. The only reason I'm writing this review is what didn't happen next. You guessed it. Nothing happened next. There has been no further contact. Monday, the day of the expected call and estimate was 5 days ago. Now, after a week and a half, I'm back to square one. ADDENDUM: Mr de Wit called me personally after being made aware of my review. He explained what had gone wrong to my complete satisfaction. He was very apologetic, very professional. Although I had already taken action to deal with my situation, he was emphatic that he was willing to do whatever it took to make things right. I was very impressed and will definitely use them in the future.

Great service and have recommended them to everyone mentioning tree service. Very competitive in their pricing and will work with you to find a price that is within your range. We had 3 small-medium trees cut down and the stumps removed. They did not haul anything off, as I wanted to keep the wood to split. Will be using again in the future as we continue to improve our yard.

He did a good job. He was punctual and responsive. There were no issues with the service. I would definitely call him again when needed.

Work performed was great and it was done at a great price. There is a pile of wood chips in our backyard where the tree stump was, and I did not realize they would be left. However, this was the first tree that we have had removed and this has more to do with my lack of knowledge. I've read that the chips can be removed as well, but that would increase the cost. I would definitely recommend getting a quote from Tree Worx on your next tree service job.

Very professional. Initially, they were going to cut down both trees, but they were able to save my tree in the backyard by topping it. It also was less expensive for me so the guys were looking out for our best interest and not theirs. Would definitely recommend them. Also, they showed up when they said they would and cleaned up everything.

It went well. They talked with my neighbor to get permission to use their land to access and too coordinate timing, as electrical service would be temporarily turned off. They actually showed up a few days before I thought they would. They raked out, reseeded and covered with straw the areas of the lawn damaged during the process.

I cannot say enough good about this company and employees! From the first contact through Angie's List to work completed today, I have continually been impressed by the professional, courteous and friendly contact through here and telephone. I appreciate the careful attention given when I expressed my need at the pricing stage. They immediately understood and explained how they would do what I needed and still preserve the look of the trees. The work done today was perfect!

When I first brought the Tree Worx owner out to perform an estimate, I wasn't sure they would be able to handle more that just the trees that had been hit by lightning. The owner showed a willingness to do anything I needed in the yard, to my surprise. Once the guys arrived, they got a lot done in a short time. The men were very cordial and professional. When I got the final bill, I thought that I had been undercharged, so I gave the owner a little more on my check and I gave the guys a tip for a job well done. I would recommend these guys to anyone who has a tree/brush project big or small.

All of the TreeWorx guys are very professional and courteous. They arrived on time for both the scheduled quote and the scheduled job. They worked quickly and hauled off all of the debris. We were very impressed with how cleanly they took down the tree.

Came right on time to give an estimate. Estimate more than reasonable. Busy because of storm. Scheduled for a week later and said they'd call if they had time earlier. Actually came one day earlier. Called before to make sure OK. Hannes was wonderful to work with. Couldn't be more pleased.

It went excellent. I have nothing but great things to say about them. They were responsive, on time and professional. They above and beyond my expectations.

This crew used a bucket truck to start cutting limbs off at the top, safe guarding our house. When they finally cut down what was left of the tree, they fell the tree in the most desirable location opposite of our house. Although many trees had grown up around it over the last 50 or 60 years, this crew did an unbelievable job of sparing those trees. They did not damage our yard with the bucket truck either. The price quoted was to the get tree down, not to haul away the tree or clean up. But since the diameter of the tree was so large, it would have been impossible to cut up and split without a professional power saw, I would guess at least a 24 inch bar. So for no extra costs, they sawed up the tree in manageable pieces. Now all that's left is to get a wedge and ax to split it up. They did an excellent job on one of the coldest days of the year!

My initial call was answered. No call back necessary. Came out on a Saturday to give estimate. Estimate was very reasonable. Crew arrived the on time on the day of service and went right to work cutting, grinding and hauling off brush. Clean up was great. Have used these guys before and will use them again. Highly recommended.

Great crew! Would hire again without hesitation. Also, of the 3 companies I contacted for an estimate, TreeWorx was the only one to actually show up and give us an estimate; therefore they got the job.

The guys were great! Showed up on time and were very quick. Both trees cut down, cut up and hauled away in about 4 hours. Stumps ground down also. I will definitely use them again if I have tree work! Thanks!

Excellent. Returned initial call propmtly. Came to house same day as called to assess and propose, even though it was the end of a long work day, threatening to storm, and it was late. Hannes de Wet called first to make sure it was still ok to come out. Gave the impression he was interested in the work even though he was extremely busy, unlike some of the other tree services we called who either didnt call back, or called back after a considerable delay, or were not friendly when they returned the call (Roberts tree srvc for example). They worked us inpromptly, did what they said they were gonna do and the quality was excellent. Left barely any trace after the job (cleaned up exquisitely well). I HIGHLY recommend TreeWorks--Hannes and Patrick are great!

The owner answered my call and came out the same day and gave me an estimate which was a considerable amount less than my previous estimates. He said he could come do it Monday, in which he did. He did more work than I had expected, but he did everything he said he would, but in a truly professional matter. His crew was very friendly and professional. He woke ordeal went very well.

It went Great. They came out the next day. Skillfully and carefully dropped this huge tree away from powerlines and as improtantly from house, cut it up and hauled it away in one day.

Patrick and his co-worker arrived on time (this is big for me). They were very cordial and worked hard until the job was done. I highly recommend Treeworx ? they get the job done and the price was suitable for me. They disposed of all the tree debris and the brush pile as requested. Very nice job!

Two weeks ago, we had a dead tree on the vacant lot next to us fall on another tree causing both to fall onto our garage. I called a few companies on Angie's List and chose a local company to come out. I talked to them later in the afternoon and they said they would be out the next day. They didn't come. In the meantime, these trees fell off the garage and onto my driveway taking some of our gutter with them and partially blocking our driveway. I called back the first company and they showed up later that day. The estimate they gave me was way more than we were willing to pay. I went back to Angie's List and found TreeWorx. They called me back the same day (I actually had two people call me back and make sure I was taken care of) and came out that afternoon. The young man who came out was very polite and gave me an estimate that was almost one third of what the first company had said. Because this was a Friday, I was worried that we would have to wait until the next week but TreeWorx offered to do the work on a Saturday morning without me even asking. I was very pleased about that. Saturday morning, the young man showed up promptly and got to work. It took him a few hours to do everything. He cut off the limbs and sawed off the trunks of the trees that had fallen onto our property. He then hauled all the wood away. I am pleased with the work. And I am very pleased with the price. I will definitely consider them again in the future.

From my initial call, I received a timely call back. The rep came to my house as requested and gave me an estimate for this job and some other tree work for later. On the work day, they arrived timely and went straight to work. They trimmed the tree exactly to as requested and cleaned up all brush. The workers were very friendly and professional. I will have them back for more projects.
