Tree Worx

We really wanted to work with this company. The reviews on Angie's list led us to believe that this was a top company. They came out in August to provide us with an estimate for cutting down trees. After meeting with the owner for 30+ minutes, we waited a number of weeks for the estimate. Since we weren't planning on having the trees cut down until this winter, we figured we'd contact them again in December. In mid December, we contacted this company once again to obtain an estimate. We scheduled it for January 4th in the evening. The company never showed up. We called the secretary, and she was incredibly apologetic and offered to reschedule it for January 6th. We agreed to have them come out at 4:00pm. We made sure that we were home (once again). The crew leader didn't show up until 6pm when it was well past dark. He went out and assessed our tree issues in the dark for 5 minutes. It was an incredibly frustrating experience and a complete waste of time. Others have had a positive experience with this company, but we were utterly disappointed and frustrated. We still, after 3 attempts have not received an estimate.

This is a very professional group. We received three quotes and selected this one based on other reviews and referrals and couldn't be happier with the work they did. We would highly recommend them to others and plan to have them out once a year or so to do minor trimming and clean up work on our trees.

Hannes returned my call almost immediately and but a few days later personally came over to look at the job site. He provided us a fair estimate (written) to remove a multi trunked tree that had died. His estimate was substantially lower than several other service providers that were recommended. Our main concern was that one of the tree trunks was leaning towards that house. The crew showed up on time at the agreed upon date, with a lift bucket truck. Hannes personaly first trimmed the branches then proceeded to cut the individual tree trunks in manageable pieces and drop them on to the ground (having laid down plywood in order not to damage the asphalt). They picked up all of the tree material, swept up the street, removing all evidence that a tree was cut down. Job was completer in approximately 4 hours. Neighbors saw was the work being performed and had Hannes do some work for them also that same day.

Hannes and his team were very personable and professional. Communication from start to finish was excellent. Trimmed two Bradford Pear trees, that had not been trimmed in 25 years. Also, trimmed branches on my neighbors tree that were over power lines to my house. Did a great job with the trimming and cleaning up behind themselves. Would definitely recommend them.

Kept in touch, came when expected and cut one tree that was close to a home.

From initial contact to final clean-up, they were prompt, courteous, and efficient. The tree overhung the driveway and the clean-up was so thorough that you couldn't tell any work had been done.

These guys are fantastic!!! I cannot say enough good things about them. Anything extra I asked them to do, they did, and they do not charge an arm and a leg for their excellent work. Since I am retired and on a fixed income, that is important. They are courteous, prompt and professional.

We had a lot of trees that needed to be cut and trimmed. This was a 3 day job! We had some huge oak trees and pine trees and I was amazed how they did not have to use a crane to cut them down. It was great! You would not have known they were at our house because they cleaned up behind themselves and did a wonderful job! They were always in communication with us from the time they arrived until the time they left. That's what I call professionalism. There are several stumps we are going to have removed at a later date and we know exactly who we are calling to have them removed. See you guys soon!

Tree Worx did a great job. They removed and hauled away two large tree trunks and two tulip poplars and dropped a large oak that was at the base of our septic area. They also trimmed a large elm tree that overhangs our house. They did a fantastic job, were punctual, very knowledgeable and I will definitely use them again.

I called on a Wednesday to get an estimate and they scheduled someone to come out the following Friday afternoon. I was happy with the estimate given and wanted to proceed with the work. They arrived as scheduled, very polite and professional, and hit the ground running. The large dead hickory tree was right next to a fence and not safe to climb so they had to fell it. They removed all the debris and raked the area afterwards to the point that it was hard to tell anyone had even been there. They also climbed and removed several dead limbs from another large hickory tree on the property as well as cleaning up several large limbs that were damaged in a willow tree. Again, they cleaned up everything around these two trees leaving the area better than they found it. All in all, a very good company to deal with from the time I first called to point the crew left after the work was complete. They seemed very focused on making the customer happy. These guys are definitely on speed dial now for any of my tree needs!

When we contacted Tree Worx about a tree that had fallen on our house that morning they IMMEDIATELY came to the rescue! By late afternoon the tree was off our house and the roof was tarped. They worked well beyond hours cleaning up the debris left by the fallen tree. We also had them remove a potentially dangerous tree. The cost for removal of that tree is listed above. I do not know the cost of the fallen tree and the removal of the debris since the Insurance Company will be covering it and we are in the beginning stages of that. Hannas and his crew were very professional and personal in their dealings with us. They went well above our expectations. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Tree Worx and would definitely use them again.

Hannes promptly responded to my voice mail - set up an appointment & arrived on time. He had a crew of four energetic and personable persons. Hannes himself worked with the crew during the entire time. The team really worked hard during the hot summer August days. The entire area was very neatly cleaned by using brushes and blower. It was spotless. I used them again next month to cut another set of trees along the fence. The team carefully worked their way ensuring that the fence is not damaged and that the falling trees or the large branches do not touch the house. This time also I had them haul away everything. They brought a chopper / mulcher & cleaned up every pieces of the trees. Hannes suggested that my cost will be less if I have them put the fallen trees and branches at the back of my property. But I decided to have it hauled away. I highly recommend this young energetic and pleasant to work with team.

They removed several trees, brought in a crane, lifted them over the house, laid them in the driveway, cut them up and cleaned up all the mess. Great job!

I had 3 trees taken down and removed, along with stump grinding. The Tree Worx employees were very professional and detailed in there job. They were very prompt and completed the jog in a timely manner. I will definitely use Tree Worx again.

I highly recommend Tree Worx Arbor Services. Patrick came out on Monday, July 28, and went over the entire job. He asked questions to be sure he understood exactly what I expected. He also took pictures of every area to be addressed. He gave me a quote before leaving and promised to get back mid week. We talked later in the week and due to the weather I thought we'd be looking at Wednesday, August 6. Patrick called Sunday night, August 3, and asked if they could come today, August 4. Well sure, come ahead. Hannes, a partner in the company, came with the crew and I couldn't ask for a more pleasant individual to speak with. In fact he and Patrick were both professional and personable. The crew all made sure they spoke with me and shook my hand. I watched the majority of the work and these men didn't play. One stroke of bad luck was their chipper decided not to work. Instead of whining like some contractors would have and say they'd have to come back, they stayed and manually put the branches and logs in their larger bucket truck. They also had a four wheel drive truck with a 4 wheel trailer and somehow they cut and compressed all the remaining debris into the trailer. These guys did everything I asked and did an above average job. They thoroughly cleaned the work areas and pretty much all I could find left were some wood chips! When they left I spoke with each member of the crew and thanked them for their hard work. I've had many tree cut down on this property over the past ten years and this is far and away the best company I've had on site. If this review seems over the top I guess it's because it's just such a pleasure to get what you expect and at a fair price. They even honored in part a coupon I found after Patrick's original quote.

The employees of Tree Worx were very responsive and polite. I called to have an estimate done and was met that evening for the estimate which ended up being significantly lower than another estimate I had received. They were able to schedule the work within 2 days of when I first called. The team arrived promptly at the time they specified and finished all the work on the trees in one day, with the stumps completed the following afternoon. One of the trees that was removed was very large and had a large portion hanging over the house. The men were very strategic and careful in removing each branch without anything landing remotely near our house. The final payment was exactly what was estimated; no last minute changes. Overall I was very happy with the services that they provided and would gladly recommend Tree Worx to anyone looking for similar services.

I would highly recommend TreeWorx to anyone needing tree services. I called Treeworx and left a message around lunch time, and was called back the same day. I ended up talking with Hannes Dewet who stopped by my home that afternoon to give a quote. He got back with me later that afternoon and emailed me the quote that night. He also happened to have an opening in his schedule the next day to do the work and we agreed to proceed. He was very good with communication. I was at work when they came over to do the job, but I know they spent most of the day on the project because they were finishing things up when my wife got home from work that afternoon. They cut off some large branches that were hanging directly over the house, cut back branches that were getting close to the neighbor's power lines, cut off dead wood, thinned out the tree, and shaped it so it looks really nice. I will definitely go back with them again in the future for additional tree service. Thanks!!

I first contacted Tree Worx a few weeks ago, and they were so backed up on jobs they couldn't do anything at first (always a good sign). I decided to wait and Hannes contacted me personally a week ago. He came out and provided an estimate. Based on his professionalism and knowledge of the importance of things like insurance and scheduling, I decided immediately I wanted to work with Tree Worx. I got back in touch with him and asked if I could keep some of the wood for firewood, and also told him I had a coupon from a local magazine. He immediately acknowledged the coupon and also passed on some savings for his decreased dump fees. They went above and beyond cutting wood to firewood size and stacking it. All of the workers were polite and respectful, and the whole crew made sure everything was cleaned up and organized when they were done. They even put topsoil and grass seed down in the areas where tree branches fell and put holes in the ground. It was VERY nice to work with a company who did exactly what they promised to do. They obviously offered a very fair price up front because they did not immediately offer a lower price when I said I was waiting on other bids. The way they handled themselves made it obvious they quoted it as competitively as they could. They also made a point of making sure I was satisfied before they left the job site. I will make an effort to recommend Tree Worx to everyone I know.

Wow! You will not be disappointed with Tree Worx. Love it when you get what you pay for. Very professional and hard working, everyone had a job to do and worked great as a team. Tree Limb was removed and tree was trimmed so that smaller limbs would not be above power lines. They raked and took off all debris. Job well done!
