Description of Work: I contacted The Deck Doctor of Chattanooga to power wash and seal my back deck. Andy was very professional and pleasant to work with. He made an initial follow-up call to my inquiry to discuss what I wanted, the size of my deck, options, price, etc. Quick and easy! Would definitely recommend to anyone needing to seal a deck for the first time or an annual maintenance cleaning.

Description of Work: He was on time, delivered what he promised at the price promised, and cleaned up after he was done. He pressure washed and stained our deck, pressure washed the shady side of the house (none other needed it), and pressure washed the walks, porches, drive, and curbing along the street. Returned after the deck dried and stained it. Beautiful job. We found him on Angie's List and some of his references were friends, who recommended him highly. He was a little more (5-10%)expensive than his competitors, who were also on Angie's List and had good recommendations there too. Those two were busy. One too busy to bid and the other had a backlog and an indefinite completion date. Deck Dr.'s reputation for being on-time, on specification, and on cost was the deciding factor and he delivered.

Description of Work: The Deck Doctor removed all furniture from the deck and pressure washed it. After it had dried for a couple of days they returned and applied a protective stain. They also returned the heavy table to the deck for us. This is the second time that we have used the Deck Doctor of Chattanooga to maintain our deck and we will certainly use them again.

+ 3 moreLiving in Florida and owning a rental property in the Chattanooga area, it's been difficult to coordinate maintenance and repairs. After finding the Deck Doctor on Angie's List, I was very impressed with his communication and enthusiasm. My daughter, who lives in Chattanooga, inspected his work for me after complete and said everything looked great. I would recommend the Deck Doctor to anyone who wants above average work for a below average price.

Description of Work: Called The Deck Doctor to get an estimate on pressure washing my house. He returned my call that day & we set up an appointment. He came and gave me a price, and we set up a time to have the house cleaned. Andy is very likeable and honest. He called 2 days before the appointed cleaning date to remind me & again the night before. He does a good job of keeping you informed of where you are on his schedule. Did a great job ... covered things that needed to be covered & removed chairs & doormats to keep them form getting wet. I know who to call now for my house pressure washing.

+ -1 moreAndy was recommended to me by another contractor. He came within a few days of my call, provided a detailed estimate, took a sample color and gave me approximate timing. He called ahead to schedule a specific day and time to do the cleaning. He showed up on time and finished cleaning early. He took the initiative to clean the patio wall and floor, (not part of original work scope). Despite inclement weather, he called to ask if he could do the work over the weekend to stay on schedule. He arrived on time, completed the stain / treatment as promised and stuck to his original estimate (despite doing the extra cleaning). He was professional, exceeded every customer expectation and I would highly recommend him.

+ -1 moreThe company came one day and cleaned the deck. They'd had a cancellation and called to see if they could move my job ahead. I of course agreed. They came on a rainy day and cleaned the deck. To my surprise, they saw that the siding on my house needed cleaning and, since the deck cleaning was quick, they cleaned the siding on my entire house. At no extra charge. Pleased? You bet. They came two days later and stained the deck. It looks great. This is a great company!!!!

+ -1 moreAndy and his helper did this job in conjunction with an interior painting job (see Tri-State Painting review). They did an outstanding job, and the wood now looks better than new. They even took the time to clean and paint a wooden bench in the garden at no extra charge.
