Description of Work: I've carried a termite contract with Terminix for many years. It seems to be similarly expensive with other area companies and the price increases every year, but the really bad part is that to switch the homeowner is charged a huge first-time fee to a competitor. I get irritated with Terminix trying to collect the annual fee starting four months in advance, and scheduling an early inspection without getting our agreement to the time. In the end they do what's required. I have not exercised an infestation or repair claim with them recently.

Description of Work: For several years we have had ants incursion the house. With supervisors and multiple interventions they could not solve the problem. Switched to Orkin in May and have not had issues since.

Description of Work: This was regular pest control performed every three months. They will come back if needed before next 3-month treatment. We don't usually see the technician and wouldn't be able to tell he had been here if he didn't leave a note. I don't find this to be very beneficial and would cancel it except my husband wants it. We also have had termite treatment and have an annual contract with Terminix and that has worked out well.

Description of Work: I pay Terminix a fee every year, for which they do a yearly inspection and take care of any termite problems that occur. Last time I had termites was 2011 and they promptly took care of it, no extra cost. My problem with them is that almost every year the price goes up, was $234 in 2009, now $305 in the face of very little inflation during that time. This year was the first year since '09 that there was no price increase.

As I work, I had a problem with a Saturday scheduling and the first guy scheduled tis year was a no show; however this may be just a one time issue and not a continuing problem. Otherwise no issues and I will continue to use them in the future. |

Description of Work: I have the Terminix service plan which means I pay a set amount each year, currently $305, and they will come out within 24 hours if there's termite activity and get rid of the termites. This has happened twice in 13 years and indeed they were here within 24 hours and did what they were supposed to do. They do a routine inspection on a yearly basis. | |My objection to this plan is that without fail the price increases about 5% each year.
