Mike Martin called to confirm our appointment and arrived promptly as scheduled. He diagnosed my tired, old dishwasher as having a bad pump assembly and advised me to replace the appliance rather than repair due to the age of the machine. He even answered some questions I had regarding different features on newer model dishwashers. I would definitely use Scenic City Appliance Service again!

Excellent. Mr. Martin promised to come by between 8 a.m. and noon. He arrived at 9 a.m. Ran some tests. Discovered the cause of the washer failure. I was advised it was a lid switch that needed replacing. He replaced it in about 10 minutes and was on his way. A pleasant experience.

Great service at a reasonable cost. Technician was very neat and polite and did the work without wasting any time.

After reading all the glowing reports on Scenic City on Angie's list, I called them for my repair needs. Mr. Martin was out the very next morning, quickly assessed that the problem with my dryer was the timer, but also that the timer problem was probably caused by a faulty wall plug. He replaced the timer and power cord (which had been slightly burned by arcing) all within an hour. I'm sure the price he charged was fair for the part involved, but when you're unemployed, any charge seems too high. I would recommend Mr. Martin for appliance repair and will call him again myself, if needed.

After researching on Angie's List, on who could fix my Washing Machine, I called Scenic City Appliance well after 1:00 pm, Mike was here by 2:30 pm, the same day. He quickly had the machine apart and was explaining the part needed and he had the part on his truck. He told me exactly how much it was going to be before he started working on it. He was finished and had my washing machine working again within 30 minutes. He was concerned about water getting on my floors, which I appreciated very much! But there was no water! Mike was very professional and polite. I appreciated the fact that he was in Chattanooga and I am in Ringgold, GA (about 20 or more miles) yet he was more than willing to come. I took his business card and will call him again as well as recommend him to any and all neighbors and friends.

Delightful experience - professional, prompt, capable, clean, and a fair price. I am only sorry he doesn't do plumbing, installations, or something.

I'm sorry for this late report, but I want to tell about an excellent business man. We picked Mr.Martin from the phone book, to repair our washing machine. He was on time and went right to work. He looked at the works of the machine and told us that we would be better off buying a new one. He explained thoroughly and to our understanding and satisfaction what was wrong and why it would not pay to repair the machine. He also gave us some suggestions as to the type and brand of machine we should look for. We cannot recommend this gentleman highly enough. He was neat and tidy in his work and knew exactly how to take the machine apart and put it back together. We will certainly call Mr. Martin again, when we need to, and will recommend him every chance we get.

Called yesterday and he came out this morning...fixed my wall oven...very prompt, courteous, neat and professional.

Mike came by two hours after I called him and performed a service check to see what was wrong with my washer. Then told me how much it would cost to fix the washer. He was nice and very professional.

I found this repair company on Angie's list and called them around noon. The repairman arrived about two hours later and found the problem almost immediately. He had the part, made the repair and was gone in less than 30 minutes. Given that we are way out in the country, I was sure I'd have to wait a day for repairs...and maybe longer for the right part. This was a very positive experience and I will definitely use Scenic City Appliance again, if needed.

Mr. Martin is a wonderful, honest repairman. He was neat in appearance, very polite, very knowledgeable about his business, and was not hesitant to declare our machine "useless/dead." He helped us decide on a brand (Whirlpool), and left in less than a half hour, leaving no mess, and absolutely no questions about what we needed to do. After going online, we purchased a new Whirlpool washer at Lowe's, for $50 more than he said it would cost to repair the old one, which he did NOT recommed doing. His visit was well worth his service fee! I recommend Mr. Martin and Scenic City Appliance Service VERY highly.

Provider quickly identified and fixed the problem, and gave me good advice about water temp. This guy is great. He comes right away and is so nice and SO professional. I would call him again in a New York minute, and I'll probably get to, with all my aged appliances.

Owner gave me a preliminary diagnosis and a likely cost of parts plus labor, and recommended buying a new dishwasher instead of abtaining repair of the old one.

Advised as to handling procedure to use so as to avoid problems with upper dishwasher rack in the future. We replaced the approximately 16 year old clothes dryer with one of the very few energy star electric clothes dryers.

They are personable, prompt and charges seemed to be reasonable. They fixed the dryer and it is still working. They did excellent.

He is very prompt and very easy to deal with. We have used his services many times and he is very good. His prices are very reasonable and I would recommend them.

My washing machine had been acting up, so Mike came out to look at/fix the problem. He identified the problem quickly and called to see if the part needed was available. It was. He gave me two options-he could fix it, which would cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $130, or he could give us the part name, we could buy it ourselves, and he would show my husband how to install the part. We opted for the second and cheaper option, and the washing machine is up and running great! How wonderful that he would save us $100 by showing my husband how to do it himself??!!?? We were very, very pleased.

In both cases, we were very pleased. He arrived within a few hours of our call and was very courteous and professional. In both cases, the problem turned out to be something relatively minor. Especially in the case of the refrigerator, he could have easily told us it required a new compressor (which would have been much more expensive) and we wouldn't have known any different. We also had him look at our KitchenAid electric range that has two burners that haven't worked since a recent lightening strike. To his credit, he told us that we should seriously consider purchasing a new range as the cost of replacing the bad part (the main controller board) would be almost as much as a new range. We can't recommend this company highly enough!!!
