Washer would fill up but would not run. Replaced switch on washer. Thankfully he had the new part on hand and it was fixed in less than 1.5 hours after I made the first call!

which died after the holidays with a mountain of laundry to catch up on. He came out within 2 hours of my call and replaced a thermal fuse kit (I think), cleaned 10 years' accumulation of lint from inside the casing, and had up and running within an hour. Will definitely use in the future.

He has been on time, professional and kind. I've met him all 3 times as my husband had conflicts each time and he didn't talk down to me or try to take advantage of me. He always fits us in his schedule when it's an emergency and even came out on a Saturday one of the visits. I would highly recommend Mike.

Mike arrived exactly when he said he would...only 30 minutes after we spoke on the phone! He recognized the fridge model and diagnosed the problem within seconds. He gave thoughtful advice on repairs to what is a poorly designed model (he has discussed this with the manufacturer) versus a future purchase of a new unit. He completed the job within half an hour. Perfect service! Highly recommended!

I called Mike after reading all the wonderful reviews on Angie's List. My washer is fairly old but I can't afford a new one and when the spin cycle stopped working I was worried. I called him on Thursday evening and he arrived right on time the following morning. He identified the problem, gave me a quote and had it fixed in less than 30 minutes. Within an hour I was washing clothes again! He was professional and courteous and I felt the price was very fair. I would DEFINITELY use Mike again in the future

Had a fridge/freezer that froze up and thermostat was not working. Called one day, they came out and serviced the next morning. Took about a half hour. Got right to work, solved the problem quickly and fridge is working beautifully again!

We have a built in Whirlpool microwave that stopped working. The technician came out the same day that we called, as we had selected them based on their Angie's List reviews. The technician was extremely pleasant, clean, nice, and was honest in the repairs. The part that was out would cost more than the microwave to fix, and he was very honest in his discussions about this, rather than trying to take me for the $400. I would absolutely use them again and have bookmarked their name on my list!

I called Mike late in the afternoon, he said he could come by the following morning. He arrived on time and inspected the leak. He gave me a quote for the work, ordered the piece to fix the problem, then left, and came back in less than 2 hours. He was very professional. Called Mike on Tuesday evening and he came right out on Wednesday morning. He was punctual and got my ice maker fixed in about a half hour. He was very professional and I would have no problem recommending him to others.

After looking at our refrigerator, the cost to fix the condenser was going to be $200. He also offered to change out the water filter for an additional $50. We have owned this refrigerator for a few years and couldn't figure out how to change the filter, or if it even had a water filter. Mike was very nice and showed us how to change it out, so that we can do it ourselves next time. He is very professional and was prompt. We are very pleased with his service and will definitely call Scenic City Appliance when we need work done on any of our appliances.

Just moved in, and kitchen appliances came with home but the ice maker and water on refrigerator had a terrible odor. Spoke with Mike by phone and he purchased an inline filter. He came and installed it and we were able to use it within a few hours. He was great, very polite and clean up after himself, very professional.

Called the company and explained the problem. Gentleman (owner) came right over just like he promised. Went and got the part and had it installed quickly. He was professional, courteous and prompt. Will definitely call him again if needed.

Very quick response - same day. Repair was complete in less than 10 minutes, but he stayed while it cycled out to make sure that repair was all that was needed to be done. We're also very pleased that, instead of having to replace the entire magnet like we originally thought, he was able to reconnect and cap the wiring so we wouldn't have to buy any parts. Quick service and saved us money - couldn't ask for a better experience.

My dryer was not drying my clothing properly. Our condo association handy man checked it out and said I probably had a bad sensor on the dryer but I'd need to call a professional appliance repair person to have it diagnosed and repaired. I contacted Sears and it was dearly priced. So I checked out Angie's list and found Scenic City Appliance and they were so nice, I scheduled an appointment. Mike showed up on time and was very professional. He checked the dryer and said everything was working properly. So he checked the outdoor vent and found a wasp next that was keeping the vent from doing it's job. He removed the next with a broom. His bill was almost 1/2 of what Sears would have charged me just to give me an estimate.

I have just got a new (to me) microwave and the catch in the handle broke, so the door would not stay closed. I chose Scenic City Appliance Repair based on their outstanding reviews here on Angie's List and I was not wrong. I called Mr. Martin in the morning and he came out that same day to look at my microwave. I thought that it was going to be an expensive repair (or buy a new microwave) but he fixed it within a few minutes. He was also incredibly professional and polite and I got several of his business cards to give out to family and friends. It is nice to have found someone that I know I can call for other repairs in the future and I highly recommend him.
