Description of Work: My washer was leaking and I could not figure out why and since my Maytag was over 20 years old I was not sure whether it was time to buy a new one. Scenic City appliance was able to fix the problem in a short time at a reasonable cost and the washer is back to washing!

Description of Work: My washer machine had quit working in mid cycle.After checking all the obvious things I went to Angies List to find a repair man.Based on there great reviews i called Scenic City Appliance Service.They were here in less than thirty minutes and found i had a bad pump.He had the pump in stock and had it repaired quickly.It took only about an hour from the time I called them and I was washing clothes again.Mike was very friendly and proffesional and I would deffinately use them again.

Description of Work: Very thorough. Had to order part, stated he would pick it up the next morning and be here by 9 AM. He arrived by 8:30 and was promptly finished within 30 minutes. Not only did he do the repair, he also replaced pieces that my husband had removed. Then took several minutes to chit chat with us. Description of Work: On off switch broken on dryer. I was prepared to wait until after the holiday week-end ,but to my great relief,he was able to repair it that morning.....Fantastic service and with such speed.Delighted we found such a wonder person.

Description of Work: I can't say enough positive things about Mike Martin/Scenic City Appliance Repair. Over the phone I described the problem I was having with my 3 yr old GE side-by-side refrigerator/ freezer. The ice bin and ice shute were filling with frost to the point if I didn't open the freezer for 24 hours, a frost/icicle made it difficult to open the door. Mike diagnosed the problem over the phone based on what I told him. When he arrived the next morning (with in the time frame he said!) he confirmed the problem was what he thought. He showed me the what was wrong with the part causing the problem. Because it was a part that seldom goes out, he didn't have a replacement on his truck. However, he was back with in 36 hours with the new part, quickly replaced it and was on his way. The cost was exactly what he quoted me on his initial visit. He was polite, neat & professional. I will definitely use him again and recommend him to friends.

Description of Work: After attempting to get someone from the company where I bought my refrigerator (minimum of 2 weeks before they could send someone out), I looked here on Angie's List and found this company. Mr. Martin's company is great. He arrived on time and finished the job within an hour. He did an excellent and fair priced job. I will definitely use him again if I have any appliance issues.

Description of Work: The service was professional but the price was a bit higher than I expected. He fixed the thermostat and the thermal fuse for our electric Whirlpool dryer.

Description of Work: My dryer was not working. I had another company come out who said they repaired it, but it was not working again several days later. Scenic City told me what was wrong and gave me a quote to fix, but advised that it was not worth fixing due to the age of the machine and the cost of the repair. He did show me how to make it work temporarily until I could get it replaced.
