Description of Work: Old air conditioner wasn't working. Thought they would say we needed to replace it (he did recommend that we be thinking about doing that). But, he replaced a fuse, & we were cooling off again! We're very grateful!

Description of Work: Checkedmy a/c unit as it had stopped working and varified that it needed to be replaced. (The unit was arleast 12 yrs. Old.). I did not have them replace the u it as my husband had already promised the job to someone else, but I have used reliable to replace a central h/a unit in another house WE OWN AN THEY DID A FINE JOB. I TRUST THEIR WORK.

Description of Work: replaced 2 HVAC units with their recommended models......$13770. |Units made jet plane noises and blew papers off tables and clothes in closet. Company stated that they had installed the appropriate units for my 2,500 square foot house.....but my duct work was too small.... |July 2013, Reliable installed giant return Duct work. $2521.00 grrrrrr. |Reliable would not admit responsibility or an error. |The installers and servicemen are professional and courteous. My salesman and management leave a lot to be desired.

Description of Work: The condensation drain was clogged in my upstairs unit. They unclogged it, and performed a summer time maintenance on both my upstairs and down stairs unit. I contacted several other Angie's list service providers and they were the only ones to respond.

Description of Work: Had them install a new electric water heater I purchased. This required two visits, relocation of both water and gas lines, as well as the electrical hook-up. Two of them worked very hard and did a professional job. I have used them for years on contract to adjust and clean my main air conditioning unit twice a year, a five ton Carrier which they installed ($4000) to replace an old one. They also installed an auxiliary unit three years ago for another part of the house. They are very professional and do good work, but they are not the cheapest in town. However, I would say you get good value. Cheapest I have found is not always the best when it comes to equipment.
