They were quick and efficient, and they usually offer discounts in a local magazine. They came back to look at something within a few days to look at a switch that had accidentally been switched on, and they didn't charge us for it.

Service call where the problem was evaluated, diagnosed. Estimate call received the same day. A/C compressor needed to be replaced. Scheduled for a few days later. That morning it was raining, so we postponed in order to ensure the repair/installation would not be done in wet weather. The next morning, it was installed and has been running well since.

Arrived on time, did a complete test of a/c unit, checked the heating plenum and fans per service agreement.

We woke up with no heat. We looked on Angie's list and found Reliable. We called them and they dispatched a repairman almost immediately. He was very thorough and spent several hours checking each part of the heating system, and discovered a filthy filter inside the furnace was causing the system to shut down. We were unaware of its existence because we just moved here in March and the filter was inside an air-cleaning system that we didn't know how to operate. The serviceman almost didn't find it because it was stuck way up where it wasn't visible. We were very impressed with him because he kept working until everything worked correctly. Now we are warm again! When the fellows came out to clean the vents, they spent several hours cleaning all our vents, checking and fixing leaks, and replacing vent covers. We were very impressed with their professionalism.

Their quote was for $6000. I talked to them more than once. But I went with another company. I might use them in the future but I am pleased with the company that I have now.

They were very good. They were here when they were supposed to. We put our system in, which one goes upstairs and downstairs and we had problems with it. They came here within two hours. They were real good. They were very thorough. If you get an appointment, they show up two hours later. They are going to be there when they tell you there are going to be there. They have a real good warranty on their work. They have been one of the best AC and heating company for the area. We didn't pay them anything because it was under warranty.

Contacted Reliable Heating and Cooling on Friday, October 7, 2011 and appointment was scheduled on October 10, 2010 between 1-5. No one showed, poor customer service, ethics issue was told on thing and it did not happen regarding scheduling.

They come once a year. I have used them for years. They are available after hours. They are good at answering the phone and they get back to you. Their supervisor is available if you have a problem. I am happy with them. Their prices are pretty average.

They were prompt and they did a great job. I didn’t like that they had bad news, but they were knowledgeable and did well. They gave me a quick callback when I asked for a quote.

I would recommend them to anyone who needs service on heat/air conditioning units. they all seem to know there business.

The guys showed up first thing in the morning and had completed the removal of the old system, installed the new, and cleaned everything up by the end of the day. A crew came a few days later to clean the ducts. Then about a month later someone examined the installation of the system and checked the heat and cool temps in various parts of the house, part of a quality control check.

We have a contract with them so if anything goes wrong we pay this one flat fee and they do it. We have a gold service with them and their service is wonderful. It is just amazing. They are locally owned and they are wonderful people. They are pretty big and have been around for years. A lot of people use them and they are just excellent. They were here within an hour. Like their name says, they are reliable. They are just good. We've used them for more than 8 years. The service is always absolutely perfect. Every guy that has been out here has been excellent; even the one that our dog bit was nice.

Reliable heat and air has performed maintenance on my heat and air unit for approximately 10 years.....I have always had good service. Each time they worked on my unit.....they would always inform me of the cost prior to doing the work. Each person who came was polite....and very professional.......good work.

Arrived on date and time as chosen. Checked with me about any problems and serviced the existing unit. Reported the findings and I signed off on the report. Excellent and professional.

The technician was supposed to be on site in the early AM, however, I was told that the dispatcher neglected to put in a time on the calendar, so he did not get to us until mid-afternoon. Okay, no problem, understandable. Once the tech got there, he went straight to work (thankfully no dilly dallying with my very talkative husband) with my husband back and forth to oversee him. We have a Payne unit purchased in the year our house was built (2001), and the imprint clearly reads that it is rated for 7.9 pounds of freon on a 25 foot line. The tech mentioned this to my husband as well, telling him there may be overage based on the actual length of the line to thte tune of one pound per additional foot of line. Not really making sense at this point since a rating of approximately 8 pounds on 25 feet means roughly 1 pound per 3.125 feet. Still, we allowed the tech to continue. He replaced a burned out piece of equipment on the outside unit and began to fill the unit with freon. Please note that the freon in the unit was not completely empty - it was still cooling somewhat, but the storm had damaged some relay connection to the interior unit, which again, was replaced satisfactorily. When my husband went back out to the tech, he said he was at 8 pounds and the unit was still being filled. My husband questioned this because of the stamp on the unit itself and the earlier conversation with the tech. The tech suggested our line was greater than 25 feet, so my former building contractor husband actually measured it. The line ended up being 21 feet total. At this point, the tech finished up, stating it was filled to 14 pounds, and of course, charging us accordingly. Leary, my husband called another certified HVAC person he knows personally and asked him to take a look. The other tech stated that it was almost impossible for a unit rated for 8 pounds to hold 14, but that he would come take a look nonetheless. The moment the other tech saw the unit, he said there was no way 14 pounds had been placed in it - not only was it not rated for over 8, but it literally could not hold 14 pounds without having been severely damaged in the process. He offered to put a reclamation tank on the unit to measure the freon, noting that if the unit was cooling at all that we had at least two pounds of freon in it before the tech placed anything. He gave us an estimate for possible damages. I called Reliable and explained what happened on the call and the now third opinion. I was told the service manager would call me back. After a week, I finally called back and asked to speak to the service manager directly. Again I explained the situation and he said he had read the details from my earlier call and called the manufacturer himself, who told him that the unit was rated for 9 pounds on a 15 foot line, meaning either way there was still some discrepancy between the fill and the form. He offered to, and did, refund me for 7 pounds of freon and stated that he would be checking the scales on the technician's tank before he did anymore freon servicing. While I do appreciate the thoroughness of the service manager, at the end of the day he is simply saying that there was not 14 pounds placed in the unit, not that his tech could have possibly damaged the unit. Will followup when finals are assessed.

They were very professional and there was no jerking around. We'd had that situation with a previous vendor. These guys have been nothing but pros down the line. They are very efficient. We will absolutely use them again.

No pressure to replace it now or buy a maintenance contract. Ended up replacing the part and the unit was good to go.

They came right out. They really are dependable. I initially bought it from them, it's a split unit - gas and electric. They bid on it and it was correct, they didn't go over on anything. They got it all installed properly. Every time I call them they get out very, very quickly. They are just an organized group of people. I didn't do any comparison shopping because I've used them before. I'm thinking about going to a ground water system, a geo thermal system and I'm going to have those guys do it.

I've had Reliable service my unit now for two years, each time they have come they have been on time and very polite and punctual. I have personally watched them service the unit once, and while I don't know much about HVAC systems, they appeared to be very thorough.

We contacted another company a couple of times and they never got back to us. Reliable was very efficient and they came out very quickly. They were very professional in the way they did the job.

As soon as I called, they were able to come out. They actually came out the same day after they put it in when I thought there was something wrong with it. They were very responsive.

I will probably use them for the upgrade if I do it; it?s just a matter of finances at this point. They were really good with scheduling my appointment; I had to reschedule and they did that well. Once they were here they were thorough, they explained everything well, and they gave me a quote on site. I haven't had any issues with them.

Very impressed with service and professionalism from Reliable. Service tech and office staff were very personable and explained any issues in detail. Tech called ahead before arriving, was prompt and, most impressive to me, very friendly and patient with my dog. Solved my problem quickly and had quotes on a new unit by the end of the day.

The work went pretty well. They got everything done that they needed to get done. They said that they?d be here between 12 and 5. They actually called a little bit early and asked if they could come over; I agreed because it was good for me too. The price was about average. We chose them because they were rated as one of the best companies in our local newspaper. I would use them in the future, if necessary.
