R&R Power Washing, Painting & More

We needed a bathroom ceiling fan/light installed to remove moisture from the bathroom. I had purchased the fixture myself but when I opened it to install it, realized this was too much for our limited handyman experience. We contacted Randr Power Washing and scheduled a date to have them install this. The gentleman that came to the house, was very thorough, had no problems installing the fixture, he even primed and painted the ceiling in the bathroom after installation and left a clean room behind. I would certainly recommend them and am thrilled with the job they did!

R&R subcontracted work out. Installed flag pile on brick house (but I had to go buy drill bit!). Painted a bathroom ceiling but was not well done. Rob & Andrew came back out and redid ceiling. It wasn't right, and they made it right. Very professional and courteous. Have requested a quote for a long list of do's and will use them again.

He showed up on time, determined the materials needed to complete the job, carefully measured and cut the custom molding to avoid waste (expensive molding) and completed the work so that it looked like it had always been part of the altar area. I was very pleased with all aspects of the care and craftsmanship he displayed.

Came for job estimate, very pleasant and professional. quote for total project way over expected, "big deal" purchased would not make a dent in the entire project.

Decks look great. Will call these guys again in the future.

Went very well in light of a divorce situation with owners, worked with both parties

They came out immediately after I called them. I had purchased a "big deal", but the size of the two decks exceeded the price. The additional cost was minimal, and I thought fair. One of the decks was high above the ground and could not be reached without going through the house. With no prompting on my part, they said they would use a ladder to gain access to the upper deck because they did not want to bring any of the equipment through the house. They power washed the first day and came back the second day to apply the stain. The work they did was excellent, and I will gladly use them again.

On the morning of the job I met one of the owners at the local big box store to pay for the lumber, etc. He did not have a list of the material needed, so he had to call his partner. We then purchased the material and went to my house. His helper, who had not worked for them before, began the work and soon discovered that the lumber purchased was not long enough. We had to return to the store to buy more. They still had to piece together some of the fascia boards because they were not long enough. On the day of the job I learned that the estimate of material needed and labor required was based on "eye balling" the house because the partner doing the estimate did not have a ladder to get up on the roof to actually measure the lumber needed. Because the estimate was inaccurate, we had to pay for the extra material and labor, which added quite a bit to the job. Some of the material they said we needed to buy was not used (putty to fill the nail holes and caulking) because they would use it only if they got the follow-on job of painting the house. Based on their performance on the fascia replacement we hired a different company to do the painting. When the painters arrived to begin work, they discovered that the primer that was used on the fascia board was for stucco and masonry, and not for wood. Consequently, three coats of paint were required to cover the incorrect primer, even then it was not adequately covered. All in all the company did not do a proper workman-like job, and were not professional in dealing with me after all the problems. They tried to make me feel that I was a 'cheap skate" because I was not happy about having to pay for the extra material and labor. I worked for 20 years bidding on jobs, and if I made a mistake on material and labor, my boss would cover the extra cost and would not pass it on to the customer as these men did. I could not recommend this company to do any work for anyone else.

I purchased a big deal from Angie's List. I had to pay them an additional $25 above the actual big deal purchase. It even was not for a whole day either and one person was there for about 5 hours. I had to pay them additional because I asked them to do a little painting and some carpenter bee holes that I had them plugged up. Them charging me an extra $25 above what I had already paid for to them for less than 8 hours a day I thought that that was a little bit ridiculous. The work was great.

The contractor contacted me within the 2 days specified and told me his handyman would call me. I had requested three dates and the last date was Monday, 10/7. The handyman called on Friday, 10/4, and said he couldn't make it on Friday or Saturday, but that he could possibly make it Sunday. If not it would be Monday. He said he would call me Saturday to let me know if he could come out Sunday. I never received a call. I called the company on Monday, 10/7, morning and Andrew told me he would call the handyman and get right back to me. Two hours later I still hadn't heard anything so I called back and told them I would get my own handyman.

First off, its nice to meet quality young men who are professional and enjoy their job. They were very easy to talk to and provided suggestions and advice when asked. I purchased a $199 coupon for 8 hrs and received way more in return. These gentlemen were fantastic!!! The job started out as a power washing job of my dad's soffits, trim and windows on his house and workshop and that went so well I asked them to quote doing the drive and sidewalk. I had told Jesse we were on a strict budget and he worked with us since they were already there and so after the house they pulled out the concrete machine and started up. About halfway done the hose nipple broke on the machine and the day was done. As soon as the machine was fixed they returned to finish the job. In the mean time there was some trim on the side of the shop that was wwwwwaaaayyyyy up high and I asked what it would cost to have him paint it. What a deal! I'm over wt and don't bounce anymore, so I was glad to let a young whipper snapper do it and he did a great job. Now comes the true sign of character. When they returned to finish the drive Jesse had his boss with him and we were talking when I mentioned that the night before someone had come up on the front stoop and stolen my dad's 3 ft high concrete duck which he and his recently deceased wife purchased together and would decorate for the holidays and how it had upset my dad. We talked about it and they then proceeded to finish the concrete and paint the trim and were done for the day. A couple of days later I was painting and had stepped down to change the position of the ladder when I see Jesse come walking around the corner followed by Rob, his boss with a box. In the box was a duck with outfits. He told me that he went in to bid a job and the owner had this duck sitting on the table which had little outfits and he knew he was to bring it to my dad. I tried to pay him for it, but he would not accept. My dad was so surprised he was speechless. Later I would find him decorating that cute little duck. So in short, these guys did a great job for a great price and made an old man very happy. Thank you guys. I would recommend this crew for anything because if what they did for us is any indication of their other work you can't go wrong.

When they showed up they immediately wanted more money. Another $100.00. They claimed my house was too big. My house did not have more than 2000 square feet of siding. I had to agree to do part of the back myself so I didn't have to pay more. However they pressure washed my sidewalk (as a favor) and now my driveway (which is connected to my sidewalk) looks horrible. Then they just left without telling us they were leaving. I also waited awhile for them to even get to my job.

Every thing was good except the paint product was extremely slow to dry, ie. it took over a week to dry. It was an oil base product.

They showed up when they told us they would, did an excellent job, and when my husband looked over the job upon completion, he was satisfied. We would use this company again.

They did a fantastic job! The deck is in good shape, but had never been sealed or stained. Therefore, some mold had gotten on it and it just needed to be stopped before it got any worse. They cleaned it very thoroughly and all the mold is gone! Their communication was awesome as well. They are coming back in a week to paint our front door and shutters, and then coming in early October to seal our deck. We look forward to future projects with them as well! Would recommend them to anyone!

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it went well. We had some additional work done, and so we paid extra. They were here when they said they were going to be here. They came on time, and they were very neat about how they did it. They did not leave a mess that I had to go and point out. The house looked amazing after they were done. We chose them because of the big deal.

Andrew and Shawn came promptly to fix our list. They installed a ceiling fan, changed outdoor outlets, replaced ceiling lights in the master bath and one or two minor fixes for us. The electrical jobs were well done as well as the small fixes. The only quirk was the ceiling fan was put up in the wrong room. I had given them a list with the location and shown them on a previous visit, where we wanted the fan but did not go back to the basement that morning to check so probably my fault. When I realized the mistake, Andrew offered to make it right but I knew the clock was ticking so I left it in that room. We were going to change it eventually anyway.

They were on time and very thorough. We will call on them again.

It took at least about ten days to even get the estimate scheduled. A guy (possibly the owner) came out for an estimate. We scheduled an appointment for the following Thursday to get started. No one showed up. We've had some rain which I understand but the guy never communicated with me. He sent a crew (three young guys) out yesterday. They had no idea what they were supposed to do. They did end up pressure washing the deck but didn't touch the house. That was the original reason that I purchased the deal, to get the house pressure washed. I have tried to call R&R Power Washing to get this worked out and have been unsuccessful in getting in touch with anyone. The phone just rings, I don't get an answer and don't get a return call. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone at this point and would not use them in the future if they don't make things right.

I'm very, very pleased with the work done by Rob, Andrew and Sean. When I called to get an estimate on the work on our deck, Rob showed up the same day and explained the whole process to me in detail. He was well-prepared, professional and friendly. Within a week the work was done - and it looks great! The team went above and beyond my expectations, and left everything neater than it was before. Plus, their great personalities made for a very pleasant experience. I'll definitely use R&R again in the future.

Andrew and a small crew erected a prefab patio screen house that attaches to the house. It is like a screened porch, only on a patio. It took them 15 hours and they did a wonderful job, even moving a light fixture that was in the way. We have enjoyed almost every supper outside on our new screened patio since then. They also built a nice ramp for my custom shed, as well as putting up lattice work around it to my specs.

Great job very conscientious and professional.

Services were performed beyond my expectations. They made sure I was happy and provided a great value for the money. My deck looks great!

Purchased a Big deal for R&R Power Washing, Painting & More. We had them power wash the house and 3 decks. I didn't know what the charge was going to be, found out after he was finished. When we talked he kept giving me different cost for doing this. I had asked for an invoice but he don't do them. He did a good job on what he did.

They are currently finishing paint/staining our home, but I decided to go ahead and write my review since I received a request for information about their decking services. We are extremely happy with everything that's been done. We had the outside of our rough-sawn cedar redone with solid color stain, and the wood screen porch/deck sealed. They sprayed most of the rough-sawn cedar siding, which covered so much better than we'd done with rolling previously, and they were extremely careful about overspray. They even painted our gutter to match, but always checked anything first to make sure it was what we wanted. I figured the screen porch would have to be cleared of furniture, etc. to clean the outside, but they told me I didn't need to. I wondered if it they'd still get the black mildew off. It looked even better than I hoped, the wood looked nearly brand new! They know how to pressure wash! (I've tried it myself before, and wound up with 'fuzzy' wood.) They're currently working on sealing the wood surfaces such as screened porch, deck and railing. As happy as we are with everything done so far, we can't wait to see the 'finished product'! I will update when all is done, but we already know we will definitely be calling R&R for our next project!
