the gentleman arrived exactly on time and checked out everything, inside and outside. He was very nice and gave me a lot of information about my unit and how to keep it running efficiently. My house is much cooler now! I will definitely use them again.

Called Malone's answering service late on a Saturday night when we noticed 1 of our A/C units was no longer cooling. Tech called back that night to confirm that they would be by on Sunday, at a standard (non-emergency) rate, which was a pleasant surprise. When he arrived, I told the tech that I observed the fan on the outside condenser unit turning off and on intermittently. He spent about 15 minutes at the unit testing the fan, condenser, and capacitor. He said that all tested fine but he noticed some oil on the side of the fan motor. His recommendation was to replace the motor. He charged me $67 for the service call & told he that the office would call me Monday with a quote. The quote came back at $538.02. After receiving the quote on Monday, I called another HVAC company for a second opinion. They said they would come out and re-test everything. If the fan motor really needed replacing, their cost was $350 including labor, parts and service call. When the second tech tested everything again, he said it all looked fine. Also, there was no evidence of the "large amount of oil" on the side of the motor like the Malone tech had indicated. He went inside to look at the air handler unit; something that the Malone tech did not do. He found water at the base of the unit in the drip pan. The water had tripped the shut-off switch which was the real reason the fan was working intermittently on the condenser unit outside. He vacuumed up the water, unclogged the line, and the unit came back to life. He retested everything outside again and it all checked out fine. A couple hours of labor is all that second tech charged me. If I wouldn't have called another company for a second opinion, I would have spent over $500 to have a fan motor replaced; and that would not have fixed the issue. While the intention may not have been to rip us off, the fact that the tech was so quick to diagnose the problem is concerning. I have no intention on using Malone in the future.

This company has been a huge disappointment. Spent $14,000 on new furnace/ac/combo unit and duct work. The 2nd floor is VERY unbalanced. Plus they only added 1 return for a 2,000 square foot space. Contacted Malone to let them know. Never got a call back. After 6 weeks, I followed up via email. Never got a response. My father (who recommended them) called and lo & behold they responded. They finally came out to the house and agreed the master bedroom was far cooler than the rest of the 2nd floor. He said he would follow up within a couple of days to let me know when they could come out to make adjustments to the system .... never to be heard from again. Clearly, it's impossible to get them back to make adjustments once you've paid them. This is terrible conduct on behalf of an HVAC company where adjustments to balance air flow traditionally have to be made when a brand new system and duct work are installed. And, incidentally, when a customer spends $14,000 with your small business it might be nice to actually respond to them if there's an issue with your work. I have, yet another, combo air/furnace system that needs to be replaced this year and Malone with not be the people I hire to do the job.

My experience from beginning to end with Malone Heating and Air was exceptional. I sent an email early in the morning via their Website, and I did not expect to hear from them as fast as I did. Needless to say, I received a call in less than 10 minutes after their opening time, and the scheduling coordinator was very helpful and friendly, and was able to get a technician to my house within 2 hours. This is all during a heat wave, and is most likely a high volume time for the company. Pablo was the technician who repaired my system, and he was very friendly, efficient, and performed the work exactly as needed. I will now use Malone for all HVAC needs moving forward.

I sent a note with my angleslist purchase that my AC wasn't working. They called me within a few hours and had a technician at my house shortly after. He located the issue and replaced the capacitor in just a few minutes. I have nothing but good to say about this service.

They were very nice! John Thomas, Phillip, and Chris were very wonderful to work with. They paid attention to keeping our home clean and the work was excellent! Would highly recommend them!

Very professional. Knew what he was doing. Showed up on time and was able to inspect both Units effectively efficiently. Was up front about options since one unit had stopped cooling completely. Will purchase services from again.

Went very well, they had someone there within an hour of my calling, on a Friday afternoon. They evaluated the issue and the duct was replaced by the next Wed. Very nice people and they worked quickly.

AC went out on Thursday. Called Malone Heating & Air and they had a tech out the next day on Friday. Tech Chris arrived very shortly after 10 AM which was at the time given of between 10 and 12. Chris was very professional and went straight to work upon arrival. He explained everything that was wrong and after my consent proceeded to correct the issues. Chris also was very kind to answer several questions that I had. Although he recommended that the unit be replaced in the very near future (28 year old unit), he did not pressure me about doing it. I will be calling them in the very near future to replace the unit. Thank you to Malone Heating & Air for A1 service and to Chris the tech for a job well done.

Water was leaking from unit in our garage. Drain line was stopped up. About 1:00 p.m., this afternoon, we called Malone Heat and Air and explained our problem. They said it would be late this evening before they could get a technician out here. I was really happy they could come out today. At approximately 8:00 p.m. the technician arrived at our house. Kent, the technician, had called before he arrived. He was friendly and did a very professional job. I will definitely recommend Kent and Malone Heating and Air Conditioning to others and will contact them if I have any A/C or Heating concerns in the future.

Things with them went fine. The $49 of the big deal was just to come out and assess the situation. The price was reasonable. They did exactly what was needed and nothing more. I think that is a good thing. They called right before they came, and they came when they said they would be there. They had a truck with a sign on it, and the guy had a shirt with a name on it. He told me what was wrong with it, what it was going to cost, and where he was going to get it.

It went well. They didn't charge any more. They never followed up. I asked for some additional info. It might have been a misunderstanding on my books because I think the e-mail they sent got sent to spam folder. So they may have followed up quickly. But it was kind of lost in communication. It would have been nice if they called me or something. Overall, they did well.

Kenny the technician was great. He arrived a few minutes ahead of our 8 am appointment. He was very polite and got straight to work. He kept me informed as he went along. Kenny had to leave to get the pressure switch part. He went the extra mile to check the air flow coming from my vents and as I suspected it was low. We discussed some remedies for my other issues (ducts) that another type of company would have to addres.s. To me, that meant he wasn't trying to drum up business-he was just super helpful and really cared about our situation. I would definitely use Malone again if need be. .

I called them and even though they said an hour, they were there in 20 minutes. It was fixed and blowing hot! My renters were grateful. I am out of town and need service like this. I don't think anyone else would have showed as much care and timeliness as Malone Heating and Air did. These guys are the real deal. Make sure you call them if you find yourself in need. You won't be disappointed! They are on my permanent call list.

The technician showed up a little later than expected but did call to let me know he had been delayed at another job. He came and serviced the 3 units and talked to us about repairs we might need soon, as well as approximate pricing. I purchased the clean and inspection coupons on Angie's List and he had those in his computer. He gave us a receipt and completed everything in about an hour. I will call them again when I need more service.

Tech was courteous and knowledgeable. Only concern was that the starter/run capacitor tested at borderline good, but wasn't noted on the report. Should be good for another summer, but I didn't want to pay the repair labor rate on top of the inspection for what amounts to a 10 minute part swap.

The technician found part of my heat pump was not working but was able to get two of the four heaters working by doing some rewiring. He did have to charge me extra for that but it was approximately $100 which was a fair price. The company always arrives on time and is very courteous.

This company is excellent. Very professional and do a great job!

Our heat induction pump went out, so we had to have it replaced. It is a pricey part, so we had to wait a few weeks before we were able to afford it. I called as soon as we were ready to have it replaced, and they came the very next day. We haven't had any problems since.

The work was completed once the parts were received in town. I appreciated that Malone checked to see if the defective parts were under warranty, considerably reducing the cost.

Super customer service from the office and the field. The technician arrived on time and gave each heat pump a thorough tune-up. We've scheduled them to come back for bi-annual service.

Technician checked pressures, cleaned inside and outside units, checked condensation drainage, and checked overall operation.

The repair went well. It required 2-3 days to receive the part, but it was installed as soon as the part arrived. I don't know if other companies could have had the parts on hand, or received them quicker. I doubt it, actually. The only real sticking point with their repair was cost. It seemed to be pretty steep to me, but I do not have a comparison to qualify the assessment. (I'm not going to break my air conditioner again to find out.) ;-) However, the repairman was efficient, and answered my questions; even when I called him later about a circuit breaker related to the air conditioner. With my disappointment about the cost and length of time to receive and part in the height of summer, I'm rating a the service at a "B+". I'd likely use them again, but I'd get more estimates first.

Technician was able to analyze the issue and identified the issue to be a switch that was burnt or spoiled. He was able to replace the switch and make it work.
