Jeremy Langley did exactly what he said he as going to do! His workers were professional, well trained, and polite which is something that is missing with alot of companies now. Most had been working with him for more than 4 years. We had recently moved into an 100+ year old home with 19 different roof pitches that was in desperate need of a new roof. They tore off the old roof of the garage and house and the flat roof of the porch that wraps around the front of the house. They also removed a chimney that was leaking and was no longer in use. We still wanted to have a chimney on the house for a better historical presence, so his crew saved as much brick as possible, reinforced the area, and then built a false frame that we could have rebricked. As we expected, there were a few small (very few) additional things that were needing to be dealt with after the roof was off. But, we were shown them as they were found. There were various quality checks throughout the job by more than one person., which I thought was pretty impressive. Promptly after the job was finished, Jeremy Langley (the owner, not an employee) came back out twice to tweak a few things that he himself was not pleased with. We would have never noticed these things. He even called after the first rain to see if we had any problems. I waited some time to do this review just to see how the well the roof worked. Especially the flat roof. We access it through upstairs windows to clean out gutters and such. I couldn't be more pleased with the quality and workmanship.

The did an excellent job installing the skylights. They were able to match the shingles fairly well. Installation was delayed a day due to shipping issues with the skylights. The only negative was that they did not clean up well enough for our liking. I would use them again and recommend them to anyone.

Gave free quote. Removed old roof & repaired leaks. Installed new roof, vents pipes, ridge vent and removed gutters. Installation was done in 1 day. Had an initial problem with installation, they were out the next week to correct the problem. Provided all documentation necessary to submit to insurance to keep homeowner's plan in place!

I had an unusual blind valley configuration on my existing roof that had been leaking a small amount over my exterior porch. This leak had been going on for a year or two with no damage since my porch had a tile floor. During this period I had three different roof repairs made that only lasted a short time. I called Langley Roofing for help. Mr. Langley sent his roofing specialist, Chris, out promptly for an evaluation. While Chris was here he explained thoroughly what the problem was and the steps required to make a permanent repair. He was professional in all respects. A few days later I received an itemized estimate for my needed repairs. I felt the quote was a fair price so I quickly ordered the repairs. Since the winter of 2013-2014 was unusually wet and cold my repairs could not be made for a while. Throughout this process Mr. Langley continually communicated keeping me apprised of the repair schedule and status. At one point he emailed me a copy of insurance and a bond he had taken out specifically for my job. His and Chris's professionalism made me very comfortable that I had made the right choice for someone to do my repair. My completed repair looks great and after several heavy rains I'm happy to report that the leak is gone. I would recommend Langley Roofing to others without any reluctance. In September 2013 I purchased a house built in 2000. In December 2013 I received a letter from my insurance company stating my roof was in poor condition and in need of repair. I contacted Jeremy of Langley Roofing to inspect my roof and give an estimate to repair or replace it. After I contacted Jeremy he was there within a day or two to look at my roof. He called me after his inspection and told me there were a few nail pops but my roof was in good condition and didn't need any work done. He told me that even though the roof was in good condition he would repair the nail pops to satisfy the insurance company. In less than a week he repaired the nail pops and a few other minor issues he saw while on the roof. This is how he makes his living and could have agreed with my insurance company and told me I needed a new roof. He didn't do that. I would contact Jeremy again if I need work done to my roof.

Jeremy Langley was very easy to work with. He readily answered all my questions and did the work in a timely and professional fashion. I felt very confident that he was not recommending any work that was not absolutely necessary.

From the time I called for an estimate to the finished job I was impressed with their quick response to my request for a quote, their professional and courteous manner in which they were in constant contact with me regarding price, the right product for my house, color choice and the timing of the job. Everything promised was delivered!! They showed up when they said and finished in one day with the yard cleaned up and no sign they were ever here, except for the beautiful new roof on my house! Its been five months and no leaks or any problems of any kind. Kudos to Langley Roofing for such excellent service and a great job!

We own a rental property in Chattanooga. Shingles had blown off in a storm and Langley Roofing repaired the roof. This is the second time Langley Roofing has repaired the roof after a storm and we will use them every time! Jeremy is easy to contact and prompt in his service. Jeremy was actually supposed to come out on Saturday but on Friday he was in a close location and just came out and did the job. He left us a statement on the front porch. Was very, very responsive and professional. Have already recommended him to a friend/neighbor and would recommend him to anyone. Great service!

The best experience I have ever had with a contractor. Every thing was up front, and he actually listen to what you say. The crew, and the owner were really great guys. We contacted Jeremy by email and he responded the same night. He showed up to give us an estimate exactly when he said he would and was very professional in every way. A few days later we received a written estimate by mail that included all costs and information regarding his license and insurance, so we knew there would be no issues if one of the workers should get hurt on the job. The crew arrived exactly when scheduled and didn't waste any time getting to work. In the past we have had problems with work crews goofing off on the job and taking much longer than they should, but that certainly wasn't the case with this one. They worked very hard, were extremely courteous to us, and completed this very large job in two days. They were so good that they even cleaned off a section of our porch we use for our dogs kennel before putting down a cover to catch the debris from the old roof. In the past we had problems with leaks around the vent pipes because slip-on rubber boots had been used by the original roofer. Jeremy replaced all those old boots with solid lead boots that completely cover the pipes so there will never be another leak around the seams. They removed all the old roofing and inspected everything thoroughly, put new flashing everywhere it was needed, and installed the new roofing absolutely perfectly. When the job was completed they cleaned up so well you would never know a major job like that had taken place. Although roofing is the primary job Jeremy and his crew performs, he also does other construction and I will certainly be calling him again for other projects I have going on. I can't recommend Langley highly enough and from my experience I think anyone would have a problem finding a finer company to do business with. If anyone reading this review lives close, please drive by my house and take a look at some of the finest workmanship you will ever see on roofing. Thank you Jeremy! Roof was leaking and water was dripping from the bedroom ceiling. Langley company was very responsive and had someone come out and look at it within 48 hours. He stopped the temporarily stopped the leak and had someone come out to permanently repair it. Both were punctual courteous and thoroughly explained the problem and the resolution.

Work was done in a professional manner.

Langley Roofing did a great job. They tore off the existing roof and replaced our 3-tab shingles with dimensional shingles. I was impressed with their professionalism and the fact that they left the jobsite very clean. I highly recommend Langley Roofing.

Removed the old roof, did some minor repairs to the decking, installed new roof vents, installed one new sky light, and installed the new roof. |Jeremy and his crew did an excellent job and I would recommend them to anyone that needs a new roof. They cleaned up the entire area around the house and left it just like it was before the work began.

I ended up going with another roofer who's price was approximately the same as Langley's. Langley came out onto my property to do an estimate on a roof replacement. There are 3 structures on the property, but only ONE is the main residence; the other 2 are clearly not inhabitable. The roofer showed up unannounced, while I was not at home, and measured the roof of one of the "uninhabitable" structures. Then called me on the phone to give me the estimate based on his measurements. At that time, I realized he had measured the WRONG ROOF, and it concerned me that he would take the time to measure a roof on a clearly uninhabitable structure. Again, he went back out to the property, without advising me that he would be there, and measured the correct roof while I was NOT there, which did not allow me to point out and share concerns about my roof with him face-to-face. There was a delay of 10 days before I was able to get the second estimate on the correct roof, but by that time I had decided to go with a different, more responsive roofer.

We are first time home owners and have had about 3 years of dealing with various contractors in the area. Langley roofing exceeded our expectations and excelled in the following areas: 1. gave quote in off hour time 2. provided a written quote 3. did the work that was promised 4. charged what was quoted 5. responded to ALL phone calls, e-mails, and text immediately. 6. Conducted business like professionals! We highly recommend their service and would use them again.

I called at least 5 of Angie's list roofers. He responded immediately. Others took hours even days to get back to me. In fact, Langley finished my job before the number one rated roofer even bothered to call me back. Mr. Langley is smart, professional and very good at what he does. AND he is living in the 21st century, employing all means of communication including phone, email and text. He is the first roofer I've worked with that responds to you in real time via text and he doesn't make you want to take a shower when he's finished with your roof. I actually consider him to be on my short list of contractors that I implicitly trust. If you've read my other reviews on Angie's list, then you know that is almost impossible.

I selected 3 top rated companies on Angies List to get quotations for what I knew would be a very big and difficult job. My room is very steep, large, and there are a lot of different surfaces. From the first communication, Jeremy Langley was impressively professional. Within hours after he inspected my roof I received a complete and detailed estimate...along with options I might want to consider like upgrading to architectural shingles. There was absolutely NO pressure to do this...I had actually ASKED for those options. His estimate was BETTER than either of the other two I'd gotten by many hundreds of dollars. He then communicated with and met my insurance adjuster at the house. ALL along the way, Jeremy stayed in touch with me by text, email, AND phone. The job was started very quickly and took only a couple of days. When they were finished, my driveway / landscaping / patio showed NO signs that the roofing team had even been there - their clean-up was so thorough. My new roof is beautiful, it was reasonable, and I've been recommending Jeremy to everyone I know who might need similar service!

One call and left message, response within an hour, appointment at my earliest convenience, showed up exactly when he said he would with two employees. Up to the roof within minutes, fully repaired with new shingles he carries with him in less than thirty minutes. so three days after my first call, my problem had been solved. I had wasted weeks waiting for a response from the original roofer.

As I said above the roof repair was done to boot near the chimney, he installed new boot with sealant, and also installed new chimney flashing around the chimney. Repair was $80 and the chimney was $250 with a 2 year labor repair warranty. He was very professional, timely and courteous.
