Description of Work: Cut down a huge oak tree in my front yard and hauled it away in pieces. Used a crane which was a great way to go. Ground the stump, but did not haul the sawdust away (you need to get this commitment in writing from them). They arrived on time, went directly to work and had the whole job done in about two hours. They were knowledgeable, professional, and easy to work with. I would gladly use them again in the future. G. M. Holton

Description of Work: This is just a follow-up to my earlier review. In addition to the good job they did in removing a very large tree from my yard, I was very pleased that Chattanooga Tree Service went out of their way to make sure that a small crack in my drive from their equipment was repaired. This level of service is rare these days and I would not hesitate to use this company again or to recommend them to family and friends.

+ -1 moreIn the course of two days a fleet of trucks arrived carrying a huge crane, an exceedingly large chipper, a smaller crane, an enormous robotic stump grinder and several very capable lumber men. They worked unremittingly the entire day with only a very short lunch break. They wore the proper safety gear and took great care to be safe in their work. Some of the trees were in awkward, hard to reach places, like between power lines and a tree we wanted to keep. One tree, over a hundred feet tall, was close to the house and the HVAC unit and among other trees and they took it down without a hitch. The crew was fascinating to watch as they maneuvered the crane and the chipper to make an entire tree vanish into mulch. From the time Mr. Pratt came to do the estimate (and provide us with his insurance papers) until the last truck left, the job was professional and businesslike. They arrived on time and worked every minute they were here. The price was in line with some others we had gotten but we chose Chattanooga Tree Service because they had all the heavy equipment to do the complete job themselves, without use of subcontractors. After the inital estimate we made some changes to the scope of the project and added removal of the very tall tree, which he gave us a fair price to do. I can't recommend these folks highly enough and would be happy to be a reference for anyone considering this type of service.
Description of Work: Cut down 6 very large and several smaller trees, cleared brush from a bank, ground many existing stumps and roots and the ones from their cutting. They hauled off all wood and debris and left the yard completely clean. Every one of the crew were top-notch pros - efficient, concientious and couteous. I was impressed with the talent of everyone from the crane operators to the chain-saw climber to the chipper specialist. They made dangerous work look like a choreographed sequence and should be proud of their ability to accomplish such a great deal of difficult work in a very short time.
