Description of Work: Contractor was paid 50% up front to resurface front porch early in early May, results uneven and stained surface. They blamed the type of concrete. After numerous emails and phone calls they sent a man with a wire brush to smooth uneven concrete and remove deep stains; made things worse. Two and a half months in, mid-July, after visits to the office and phone calls to the contractor; it took a call to the home office to get any response from Johnson City Honey Do. Their fix- apply another coat of the allegedly faulty concrete coating- resulting in stains in different places and bumpy patchy finish. Six months later, job failed and not fixed, I requested and received from the Honey Do Company a refund so I could get the 1/2 day job done by someone competent. The failure to answer phone calls was offensive. The work was not of good quality. It took me more time to try to get them to do the job right then the time they put in on the job.

Description of Work: Received multiple quotes for several projects. Was blown away at how high the quotes were. Eventually decided to have just 2 projects done. | |One was a time repair job which was done perfectly. The other was a significant siding project. The quality of that job was good. | |In the future I'll most likely avoid dealing with this company due to their high prices.

It's been a 13 days and I have not heard from him. I also emailed them in case he had incorrectly written down my email address . Still no response.

Description of Work: Richard, Jay, and John were fabulous. Richard gave me rapid quotes for everything, gave me wonderful ideas, and was very patient with all the changes I made. We had them completely remodel the bathroom in my house. They were punctual every morning, and they left everything clean and tidy at the end of the day. Jay was more than patient, and walked me through the remodeling process , he asked questions, listen, and then gave us options for where things needed to go, where we wanted light switches, plugs, etc. My bathroom is my favorite room in the house now.

 + 0 moreWe had the estimate done the same day we called for service. It was a COLD rainy day so we were surprised and pleased that someone would come out in that weather. The company stated it was good to evaluate a roof leak while it was raining; we agreed. The gentlemna was very nice, polite and thorough. We were somewhat dependent on the weather due to the time of year, but the work was scheduled for 3 days after the estimate. However, on the day the workman was to come, he did not show up. A call to the company later indicated he had "gotten a late start" but he never arrived. A supervisor called us later that day and profusely apologized, indicating the workman that was scheduled had been terminated. The work was rescheduled for the next warm day. The workman arrived on time, worked quickly and efficiently, and cleaned up after himself very well. I would definitely use this company again.
Description of Work: Repaired leaking around a dormer window in our Cape Cod style home. The area had been leaking for quite some time. The workman identified the leaking area, explained it to us, and repaired it. The gentleman who gave us the estimate did a thorough inspection from the inside of the house before the work was actually done.

 + -1 moreThe quote was high but they were fully insured and could do the job quickly. The guy showed up about 1/2 hour late. For the price I think there should have been more attention to detail. The guy did not do a great job of putting the gutter guard back in place. Also, I caught the guy banging his ladder against the gutters and now we have a leak at the place where he was banging his ladder. I would not use Honey Do Service in the future and I would not recommend them, UPDATE: Finally after many phone calls, the Honey Do Service finally came back to correct their mistakes on NOVEMBER 9, 2011. ALMOST FIVE MONTHS LATER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They never tried to contact me, as they would lead you to believe in their response to my previous rating. WHAT A JOKE. When I would call, they would take a message and never call me back. The 'office girl' was very rude, argumentative and condescending. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICES TO ANYONE.
