After the initial call and estimate it took 14 days before they came to the house. We had an electric gate opener repaired (which has gone out since they repaired it) and plumbing work, which also needed repaired in a few weeks by another plumber.

Great! For all of them. Arrived promptly. Got the work done quickly and cleaned up after. As well as being competent, they are licensed, bonded and insured.

They were out of the ballpark as far as we were concerned. He gave me the best possible estimate he could. I have used him twice for an estimate.

The job from first to last was performed in a polite, professional and knowledgeable manner. The crew was exceptional as was the quality of the work.

Although it is possible that something technical happened, I sent a message to them 11 weeks ago and NEVER got a response, not even a message to say that they'd received my message. Even if they didn't respond because they don't do that kind of work, a simple response saying so would have been nice.

Very professional. The mailbox was motored in the brick so it took a lot of drilling to get the old box out of the brick. The new mailbox and motor looks great.

Took a week after calling to get estimate; took another week before work was scheduled Estimator stated work would take 3-4 hrs. Took approximately 1.5 hours. Felt cost was too high for this amount of time Service tech was fine- professional andknowledgeable

They kept me informed on dates, and the gents were very nice and professional. Arrived on time, did a good job and cleaned up before they left. I can't address whether price was reasonable as this company was recommended by the appliance supplier and I did not get a number of price quotes for comparison. With that said, I'm happy with the result.

I found The Honey Do Service of Johnson City for handyman services. I ended up using them. I got a mix of good and bad. He showed up right away and showed up on time. I thought he did a good job the first time we used the bath tub it flooded our basement. The quality of work went down from there. He was also supposed to come back for a second job that we needed to have done and he never even called back. He never showed up. Overall I would have to give him a 'C' or a 'D'. They were professional. He came dressed well. He came in a marked vehicle. It is unfortunate that the end result was, thank God that it flooded literally 2 days before we had a couple of thousand dollars worth of carpet put in down stairs. The end quality was an 'F'. I had to replace the ceiling downstairs at my expense and thanks that the carpet wasn't installed and that would have been a total disaster. Initially he showed up right away and then when we called and let him know what happened, he never returned the call and never turned up. I would absolutely not use this provider again in the future and I have passed it on to coworkers.

I corresponded with them mainly through email. They were very professional in their correspondance and promptly scheduled the work. I was not home when they did the work and was glad they would do it and bill me. I thought the price of $200 was a little high to replace one shingle but realize that it takes about the same amount of effort to replace one shingle as a dozen. I am glad to have a good experience with them as I will use their services in the future without reservation.

Work was good but very overpriced. There are better alternatives.

They had to come out and redo some parts of it and their price was really high. They did good work but it was really hard to get them get back in touch with me with the estimate.

They did a good job with the toilet but I had a very difficult time with the faucet that was leaking. The guy eventually got it at the expense of very little water flow coming into the shower. He wouldn't try again to rectify it. They were a little on the expensive side.

The service has always been good. I've been using them for 6 months. They can do most anything I ask of them. They get it done and bill us for it. We are 4 hours from them. We can call them and tell them about a problem and we can count on them to get it done. We have no problem with them at all. They have been times we've had to call them back because something is not done.

I think they were reasonably priced. They came out when they said they would and they got the job done in a timely fashion. They did a good job. I would consider using them in the future but the cost would be a consideration. The price was just kind of sticker shot to me. I am used to doing most of my work myself and this particular job was little bit beyond of what I was willing to do. The price was probably in line with others but I just wasn’t prepared for it.

They are expensive. We got several other quotes, and Honey do was exactly 50% higher than everybody else. The did not charge us to give the estimate.The representative was very nice.

I hired honey do service out of Johnson City to repair a roof leak around my chimney. Initial estimate was for four hundred and some odd dollars, ended up being $837 and roof still leaks. They claim to have come by a couple of times when I've been at work for additional repairs, but this I'm not sure about. In any case I was promised a one year guarantee, and my roof never stopped leaking. At last contact with the company they say they have done all they can do and offered no refund. Do not hire these people. They wont stand behind their work.

I called Honey Do Service out of Johnson City, TN to give me an estimate for some small repairs around my house. They were prompt in returning my calls and coming out to the house to give me an estimate. However, their estimate was VERY OVERPRICED!! Even though I am an older female, I have done many DIY projects and know the costs and time it would take to complete the repairs. To make a long story short, I had another contractor that I had never used before (Mo's Handyman Service) complete the repairs for a total of $386.00. If I did not have the knowledge of how much these repairs should cost, I would have been taken high and dry by Honey Do Service.

I scheduled an appointment with this company to arrive at my house to give an estimate for a few different jobs, including exterior paint, water garden repair, screening a gazebo and some exterior wood replacement. The man on the phone was eager to schedule the estimate and very polite. When the day approached it was raining 4 hours prior to the appointment, when the guys called, he wanted to reschedule, when looking at the weather report it was not supposed to be raining at the scheduled time of our appointment, and it wasn't. He stated that he still wanted to reschedule. I asked him to come the next day or on monday, he said he needed to go back to the office and look at the schedule in order to provide a time/day. I never heard from the company after that phone call. I feel as though if you're a company calling to reschedule, have your appointments already in front of you and when facing a job that will generate a lot of income, call the customer back, even if you don't want to do the job, it was unprofessional in my opinion and if it is any sign of how they operate when completing a job, its not a business I want to rely on to complete needed tasks around my home.

Biggest problem was scheduling, as he is very busy.. Once there, I did what pre-assembly I could and he put them up. Date of service was probably a year or more ago. Used the Angie's List coupon.

The job went good. They were just slow to respond. They came fast for the estimate but they were slow in getting it scheduled and done. The work was good. The estimate was right and there were no surprises. I would use them again. The price was reasonable.

I explained that it would definitely need to be snaked. The 1st technician arrived with no tools and avised me to pour bleach down it.Naturally this didn't work. using my plunger he was not able to unclog the drain, but one of the pipes loosened, and I repaired it myself. He leff, and a 2nd technician arrived who snaked the drain successfully.

Decided not to engage this firm's services.

Great! I've used this service for several years and several jobs. I try to be very careful who I hire. I want to know that people coming onto my property are licensed, bonded and INSURED! Yes, I did capitolize insured! Two-guys-and-a-truck would have been less expensive. If one of the two guys banged up their hand doing the job, my homeowner's insurance would be liable and have to payout for the medical care! I know life is full of risks but there are some I would rather NOT take. So I pay a bit more and get the type of companies that meet my criteria. I plan to hire The Honey Do Service for other jobs in the future.
