Description of Work: Refinished ~1000 sq ft of hardwood and installed and finished 350 square feet of oak hardwood, also with white shoe mold everywhere. | |Working with R&S was a wonderful experience and their rate was very competitive. We got three quotes and theirs was the cheapest. They were able to do the work on a short time frame and did a wonderful job accommodating our older home with its quirks. They were recommended by our realtor and did not disappoint.

Description of Work: They have been very friendly and professional. The flooring I chose was temporarily out of stock and they informed me of this and expected delivery time. My flooring will be delivered to me on Nov 2 and installed Nov 6. I did not any issue with the delay as it gave us time for preparation. I could not ask for better customer service.

Description of Work: It took awhile for the company to schedule the estimate. When the man came out to give the estimate he was nice & professional. The estimate ended up being more money than we anticipated. So we have requested a refund for this service with Angie's List.

Description of Work: TWO R&S WORKERS CAME AND TOOK OUT ALL THE CARPET AND REMOVED ALL FIBERBOARD AND PUT IN NEW PLYWOOD THROUGHOUT THE HOUSE. THEY STARTED ON MONDAY AND FINISHED ON FRIDAY. THEY PUT OAK HARDWOOD FLOORING IN 6 ROOMS AND HALL.THEY WERE POLITE ATE THEIR LUNCH ON THE RUN AND WORKED VERY HARD. THEY DID AND OUTSTANDING JOB. THE FLOORS ARE BEAUTIFUL THEY MOVED ALL THE HEAVY FURNITURE AND PLACED IT BACK WHEN THY WERE DONE. GREAT, GREAT JOB!

Description of Work: Labor costs for installation of an engineered wood floor in a bedroom. We had planned a glue down over a brick tile but the head installer suggested a "floating" installation, which proved superior to a glue down installation using the same wood in a den three years ago. Very professional job. We could not be more satisfied.

Description of Work: RandS Flooring was absolutely amazing. They were very professional. They did great work. They were excellent communicators. I fired my contractor Byard Construction (who incidentally, I would not recommend for anything). RandS took over (actually Byard didn't even know a flooring company and I had found RandS in the first place). RandS performed accurate measurements and provided an itemized estimate that made sens. When there were adjustments, those were immediately incorporated into a revised estimate. RandS even worked with me to return the flooring the Byards ordered (1.5 times the amount necessary for the job). Ray did the original sale. Clayton worked with us through the process. Eddie and his crew installed the new floors. They were lighting fast and did a near perfect job. Walter Verchota and his brother sanded, stained and finished. Mr. Verchota came in and did some carpentry adjustments (and even fixed a measuring mistake I had made). Each person worked hand in glove with my other contractors. Walter assisted with numerous stain colors until we got the color right. He inspired confidence and knew exactly what he was talking about. When it was time to be off the floors, everyone communicated well and sufficiently in advance so we could plan. We have a couple more steps, but I would definitely give these guys a 5 Star rating. Description of Work: To Whom It May Concern: The company's name is actually R&S Flooring. I paid $595 to Angie's List, Order Number 1840777 on Tuesday, March 17th 2015. Tim Goodwin from R&S Flooring came out and told us that our floor could not be repaired. He suggested that we tear out the floor and put in new flooring. I simply cannot afford to do that. I have talked with your office. I understand that I have 30 days to cancel my order. I am requesting now (4/1/15) that my order be cancelled and that Angie's List credits my credit card in the amount of $595.00. Please respond asap. Description of Work: I was looking to repair some damage to a hardwood floor. Excellent customer service. Andrew Turman was the representative sent to evaluate he was thorough and very professional. Unfortunately the floor was beyond repair. I I do decide to replace it I will call them for sure.

Description of Work: They replaced our existing hardwood prefinished floor with a sand and finish hardwood floor including some additional areas that originally had carpet. After some initial problems with the person doing the work they sent their lead manager to address the problem and worked diligently until we were completely satisfied. I would recommend them again to anyone.

Description of Work: They refinished our hardwood flooring/stairs. The initial crew they sent out did a horrid job. They sanded the floor uneven, stained inconstantly and splattered stain all over the base boards and hardwood stair banister. That said we called R&S and they made it right with a big discount for our trouble. The second crew was very patient with us in light of the situation and answered all our questions and R&S has a painter cover all the splatter. Our floors look great now. They stepped up and made things right.
