Ellendale Electric

They were very professional, showed up when they said they would show up. I am still waiting for somebody else for six weeks and never showed up. I will use them again. I would not have known about them except through Angies List. They were courteous and very professional all the time and did a good job. Over all they were excellent. They were much cheaper than I thought they would be.

J.B. came out to give the estimate. He was friendly and professional. He asked alot of questions about what I wanted, to ensure that the job was done to my satisfaction.There were no surprises when the work was done. It was exactly as I was told it would be. I will use Ellendale electric should I need again .

The two electricians arrived within 10 minutes of saying that they were on the way. They reconfirmed with me what I had agreed upon in the inital visit. The two men worked steadily, quickly, and quietly for 2.5 hours. They were neat, professional, and polite. The lighting was a great improvement in my dark kitchen. The estimator demonstrated what a particular type of under-cabinet light would look like installed. That was a great help in making a decision when considering some other types of lighting. All in all it was a great experience and the the price was the lowest of the three firms that I had called.

Found Ellendale Electric on Angie's list and recalled seeing their vehicles all over town. Contacted the office and explained the problem. Was given the first available appointment and was told that they would even provide a 30 minute call so that I could get from work to home. Day of appointment, Scott, the electrician, called and even beat me to the residence but was waiting patiently. I can't say enough nice things about electrician Scott. He was nice, smiled all the time, shared stories and pictures of his pets and family all the while working on the ceilling light. He never missed a beat and got the job finished without any complications. He is definitely a keeper as an employee and ambassador for Ellendale Electric. I will definitely use Ellendale Electric again due to this experience.

They arrived the same day I called and were quick and efficient! The front office staff were also particularly friendly and helpful as well.

WONDERFUL--they are really great people and EXCELLENT electricians

The estimator came the prior week to tell us what work was necessary and the approximate cost. Once the appliances arrived I called to schedule the service. I had been under the impression that the electrician would also install the appliances, but when I called to schedule the service I was told that I would need a separate installer. The electricians were very courteous and performed the necessary wiring and tested one of the appliances. The installers were not able to turn on one of the appliances and tried to troubleshoot the problem, but ultimately I called the electricians back to correct the problem. I left a message on Sunday, my call was returned early Monday and the electricians returned on Monday. The problem was fixed and the installers returned Monday night to complete the install. This delay did cause some stress and extra charge from the installer, but overall I was satisfied with the experience.

They did a pretty good job. For the amount of work they did I think they were pretty reasonable. My husband did a lot of research before he committed to them. The fellows who did the work and the original inspector were all nice and did a good job. It was actually a nice experience working with them. I think they were pretty reasonable in their price. I wish it had been less but I don't think we could have gotten away with that with the amount of work they did. They were pretty much on time. I would use them again in the future.

They were responsible for their appointment times. They completed the job for the price they said they would.

I told the story from start to finish in the section above. I wanted to get three estimates to replace the main breaker, so I called companies that advertised free estimates. It's annoying and a waste of precious time to call to utilize the advertised service of a free estimate only to be informed that in fact there is no free estimate.

Tracy Borders arrived on time and did an excellent job in a timely manner. He installed an electric outlet higher to accomodate a wall tv.

We were very pleased with the service. The price did not include the light fixtures. We already had purchased those. They completed the job in about 4 hours. Although the price seemed a little high, we feel like it was worth it for a quality job. We were concerned about safety dealing with electricity at an old house, so we chose a well-known reputable company.

We have used Ellendale Electric on two occasions in the past and have had good experiences. This visit was no different. We were given an appointment for the next day after calling. The technician was prompt, completed the job quickly and efficiently, at a fair price. Highly recommended.

I called them on Saturday for non-emergency message and left a voice mail. We received a call back from them first thing Monday morning. Later that morning we received a call that the electrician would be there at 11:30. He was on time and quickly fixed the problem. If I ever need electrical work done again, I'll call them right away.

This morning we heard a big POP upstairs and then a smell filled the upstairs like an electrical fire. We were really nervous and before long, we realized that the furnace had gone out too. A friend recommended them and we looked here and they had great ratings. We called them at 9:00 and explained the problem and they came in about 30 minutes!!! They sent over Bobby Young and he had over 30 years experience and quickly found the problem. He tested every outlet, looked at the furnace, explained everything to us, showed us the burnt wires and outlet, and repaired them. It took him about an hour and we were totally floored when we got the bill and it was under 100.00!! We had NO idea what we were talking about and they could have easily trumped up the problem to make more money. We will DEFINATELY will use them again.

They came out on time. They were easy to work with and were very professional. They were also very reasonably priced.

They were very professional and prompt. They scheduled the guys to come out the next day. They guys came out the next day. They checked the fuse box, and said there should be another fuse. It is one of the buttons on the wall that you push the test and reset. They just pushed the reset button, and it worked! They said it was no big deal, and that they have been to houses just to change light bulbs and such.

The job was done to my complete satisfaction and exactly as I had envisioned it would be. The transformer for the lights is on a timer and when I went outside for the first time last night to see them on, my yard looked so beautiful. When I am ready to do lighting in my back yard I will definitely use Ellendale again. This will give me lighting when I come home late at night and I won't have to worry about leaving lights on even for company.

They did this work. I later contacted them to find out if they could convert the microwave circuit into a 220 outlet instead of the 110v that was there. I had been told when they installed the outlet that it was the only thing on this circuit per the code requirements. However, when they returned to determine whether it could be converted, I was told no "because it isn't the only thing on this circuit". Meaning that they did not install the original line per code. They later tried to bill me for this return trip and I refused to pay because I had paid them approximately $800 and the service had not been completed as originally requested.

We had researched Angies List and the BBB in deciding to use this company.The company came out within an hour to do the estimate and came back to do the job 2 hours later. They had said it might take a day or two due to the storm that had hit Memphis.They finished the job within a few hours. They charged exactly what the estimate said. We will use them again in the future. They were fantastic.

They are very good. I have been using them for a very long time and have been very satisfied with their quality of service.
