The gentleman who came was on time, extremely professional, and very helpful! He actually advised that some work which I had questioned would be something that would not be necessary and gave me an alternative which was MUCH less expensive.

At first, they said it would take a week to come. It was unbelievable. They were the one's that originally did the electrical in the house. Everything with them is an "A". They even made a big effort to get here just so that I could have electricity over the weekend.

The person who came out was on time and pleasant but they need to be more detailed in their approach. I didn't get any specific estimate when the man came out. He immediately said we needed to replace all 4 attic fans. When he wrapped up the job I asked if he could give me an estimate. He told me it would be between $1100-1200, but I received a bill for over $1600. I still have issues with my fans and the light in my garage. I'm disappointed with my fans and the light with the ballast issue. But, I understand why the serviceman thought he had solved the problem. I asked for an itemized bill. But I haven't received one. He had to come out 3 times when the work was supposed to be done in one day. I don't think that the way they did business is an upfront way to do business. I called in to the office and spoke with someone. She told me that I had never requested an itemized bill previously. She said she would have someone call me back and have not received a call. I have used them for a long time, but I would not use them again based on the lack of response.

They are very good. They were available, punctual and did the job. They explained everything they did. Good first impression. They were conscientious. They check everything before they installed it.

They are excellent. There is an young man that works with Ellendale that is phenomenal. His name is Tony Pendegrass.

* I've used this company before and have been satisfied. However, after this experience, I'm going to search for another electrician. * I called them and scheduled an appointment for a day I was taking off work. No one showed up. * I followed up on the missed appt. The lady asked around the office to see if anyone remembered setting up the appointment. I'm not sure how this was relevant. Instead, she should have said "I'm really sorry that happened. I'd be happy to set up another appointment for you." Instead, I practically had to coach her to set up a new appointment. * Since I couldn't take off from work again, I scheduled an appointment when another adult could be present. * She set up the new appointment and pulled up the previous work order where the technician wrote the quote and read out loud over the phone "Install 2 motion lights. All parts furnished by Ellendale Electric." * On the day of the appointment, the technician called at 8:02 AM and said he would arrive in 30 minutes. He didn't show up until 9. * Upon arrival, the technician phoned me to ask where the light assemblies were that were to be installed. I informed him that Ellendale Electric was supposed to furnish them per the written quote (which was read by the lady when she set up the appointment). He had to have someone from his company send them out. * The bill was paid in cash (which was noted at the time the appointment was booked as well as on the service order), and required $5 change. The person covering the appointment for me said the technician made a really big deal of having to make change, making her feel bad for expecting change.

The cost was probably $165. I had something else done at that time. The price is a B because they are a union shop. They are the best place in the whole city here in Memphis Tennessee.

Very badly. They will lie to you over the phone. When they have enough business, you don't matter!

I've used them a couple of times. I would use them again in the future.

They hung a chandelier when I moved in 10 years ago. They also installed an exhaust fan. They also corrected some wiring for the disposal under the sink. Ellendale Electric is an old company here in Memphis. They are coming out this next week to do some work for me.

It went very well. They were very professional, did an excellent job (including cleaning up after themselves), and kept me informed during the four days they were here. I am happy I chose them for the job and will choose them again if I have electrical work to be done.

I would never recommend this company to anyone.

No show. When I called, the lady explained that it look like the service ticket never made it to the supervisor's desk. I took off work to be here for this appointment. I can't afford to do that repeatedly. Very disappointing.

The technicians from Ellendale showed up on the original day of service to evaluate the work to be done. They thoroughly evaluated the work needed to be done and were honest about their inability to complete all of the job in one day due to the need to obtain additional supplies. We arranged for them to return the next day around 12:30, which they did. They quickly and professionally completed the work, and now my new water heater has been hooked up and is functioning just fine.

They did an excellent job. The only fault I could find was they didn't plan well on keeping the insulation from coming out of the attic while they made holes for the cans. Big mess.

Completed the work as requested. Best price quoted of all estimates provided. Work was completed as scheduled. No problems. The came back to fix a problem that developed later at not cost.

Everything went well. Problems resolved in about 90 minutes. I have called upon Ellendale several times. Service is prompt & excellent. Prices are competitive.

I have used Ellendale several times, and it is always really good! Even though I have had 4-5 different guys--usually not a good thing for repairs-- they have all been great. They work quickly and do whatever I wanted done. Mostly it has been updating of fixtures, so not a really difficult job, but I feel much better having qualified electricians doing the job. The prices have always been very reasonable, because it is just by the hour a flat fee for however long it takes. They do not waste time and get right on the job. I always make sure I'm ready also with the things I want up or down ready to go. I will always call them for any electrical work. I always wish they could do other repairs I have !!

They were here on time, worked fast and did an excellent job.

They were very friendly and worked quickly to identify the fastest way to run the phone lines through my attic and crawl space so they would not be visible and unsightly. The two man team worked great together. I could not have been more pleased with their work.

I have aluminum wiring in my house, so loose connections at outlets are always a concern. Tony found the loose connection and showed me the wire where it had been arcing and on it's way to coming all the way loose. He and quot;pig tailedand quot; the outlet and quickly fixed the problem. He also provided me with a great explanation of aluminum wiring and what he would suggest to provide better connections at each outlet. He was professional, punctual, and made sure to answer my questions thoroughly. Would definitely recommend Ellendale Electric.

The electricians were very courteous and polite. They were very neat and wore booties over their shoes inside our home to protect our flooring. They were very efficient in doing their job. The electricians made sure all parts were working and in good order in the installation process. We had a good experience and would recommend this company and its employees for any electrical work at your home.

This provider came out to do an estimate. They came on time and sent over the estimate right away.
