Description of Work: I purchased a $89 deal for two movers and a truck for two hours. The service went well. I let a friend use the coupon to move into my apartment.

Description of Work: Company had equipment problems. Could not provide services at agreed upon schedule. I had inadvertently paid for the service twice. $279.00 x 2 = $558.00. Company representative said would refund amount paid.

Description of Work: I used this company to pickup a kitchen table and chairs in Hendersonville Tn and deliver to Murfreesboro & @same address in Mboro pick up a TV hutch/cabinet and deliver back to Hendersonville. Basically we did a furniture swap. |The company was featured as a big deal of the day. So I called company and spoke to wife and told her what we needed done. She quoted price and we scheduled date. I purchased coupon and was thrilled about how much I was going to save. |When husband arrived to load furniture, he was very friendly and professional. When it was time to discuss payment I gave coupon and he then informed me that she misquoted price. That it was going to cost more. He explained to me that she didn't charge enough to cover his cost. At this point I hesitantly agreed to new price because I needed the furniture moved that day. Besides the last minute change in price they did a good job. The furniture that was moved was VERY heavy and if I had hired another company it would have probably cost more.

Description of Work: The guys who showed up were great. Very professional and took great care with our items. Had to rank them with a "F" for punctuality as they were about 4-5 hours later than our start time which meant we weren't moved into our new house until close to midnight. I know that they got stuck at another job but having a back up plan would have been super helpful. |Overall though I would use them again.

Description of Work: Moves office furniture and filing cabinets and a treadmill and workout equipment from one room upstairs to another room across the house and upstairs. Had to take treadmill completely apart and put it back together! Anthony and Steve were kind, professional and never once seemed put out that they had to dismantle treadmill to remove from the one room and then put it back together!

Description of Work: In response to a coupon on Angies List, I contacted Southern Elite to schedule movers. I spoke with a Kizzy who said that she would send me an email confirmation. Two weeks later, I hadn't heard from her so I dialed the number listed on their site today to make sure we were still on for the booked date in February. When the phone was picked up, no one said hello, but I could hear men talking in the background. I finally said, hello? A man asked, who's calling? I said, sorry, I must have mis-dialed and said I was calling Southern Elite movers. He said that wasn't his number. I gave him the number I was calling. He said that did not match his phone number, that the prefix was 299 not 268 and that he's been receiving a lot of calls for Southern Elite. When I hung up, I checked the redial feature on my phone and saw that I had dialed the correct number, the number listed on Angie's List. I immediately called another mover and booked my move with them. The entire experience was totally odd. I don't trust them. When I contacted Angie's List to complain, I learned that Southern Elite is no longer listed on Angie's List for non-payment of advertising.

Description of Work: They honored their Angie's list coupon of having 2 men and a truck for 2hrs for the job. So, I only paid $45.00 which is the travel time charge and gladly generously tipped the 2 men for their hard work. I had them meet me at a furniture warehouse in downtown Franklin, TN and haul a large entertainment center unit (2 pieces) from there to my home a few miles away in Franklin. There was a mixup on meeting me in Franklin vs they thought it was in downtown Nashville, but they were apologetic and barely a little bit late due to the error, no big deal. They were courteous, professional and friendly. Respectful and appropriate in their demeanor while moving the unit in our main room. They had the needed tools to bolt the 2 piece unit together and they were just very accomodating and professional. All my husband and I had left to do later was to move the piece further against the wall etc after my husband hooked up the TV components etc. They ALSO moved our existing TV unit to our downstairs recreation room and did both with utter care and attention to being careful to not damage our newly painted walls, etc. This was part of my job request and they even asked afterwards if there was anything more they could do while there. Description of Work: Southern Elite Moving Home Delivery made moving very easy. My parents had been living in there apartment for almost 12yrs, so of course they had accumulated a lot of stuff. And with my stepfather not being in the best of health and my mom not being able to do a lot of heavy lifting herself, it was very important that I find a great moving service. And with Southern Elite, I did. My nor I didnt have to lift/move a thing. The guys from Southern Elite made sure of that. They were on time and didnt leave until the job was done.They were very professional and friendly. They were careful with all of our items. The price was very reasonable. I would definitely reccomend Southern Elite Moving to family and friends. And they would be the 1st one I called if I ever move again. Thank You so much Southern Elite

Description of Work: This move include me and my husband moving our things out of two seperate storage facilites. We were set to meet Anthony and his crew at our storage at 9:30, we were running a tad bit behind and we appreciate their patience and the fact that they didnt add on any extra fees for the wait. We felt so overwhelmed but they said it was a piece of cake and surely it was , they had us loaded and ready to go in two hours. They made sure all my furniture was pad wrapped and carefully loaded.

Description of Work: Southern Elite moved our household goods and furniture from Nashville to Hilton Head, SC. This was a full service move including packing of all items. We have moved several times with national moving companies, and Southern Elite was BY FAR the BEST, MOST CAREFULL, MOST COURTEOUS company we have ever used. Because our home in Hilton Head was not completed, the move required two stops for items going to storage and items going to a rented house. Anthony Crawford-Johnson, owner of Southern Elite, is hands on from beginning to end, and he and his employees treat your furniture and household goods as if they were their own. Your carpet, stairs, walls, etc. are all protected, all items are boxed carefully with the contents properly marked, and all furniture is padded and protected prior to moving from the house to the truck. All furniture and boxes are then carefully placed on the truck to ensure that no damage will result from the trip to their destination,
