A Spic & Span Cleaning Service

The 3rd time they came to my house I found that the last 2 of my prescription pain pills (Vicodin) were gone. They say that they had nothing to do with it. I have my doubts since they are the only people with access to my house, so I am going to discontinue using them.

I was the least bit pleased. I was in a time crunch since I just got into town and I was headed out of town again and didn't have time to clean my house myself. While cleaning, they broke a picture frame, spilled something on my cowhide rug that couldn't be removed, and created a black mark/dent alongside my refrigerator that I am unable to get off. She refunded me $50, which I appreciated, for the picture frame and rug. The mark/dent is from getting the refrigerator out to clean behind it, however, they scraped it along my black granite as they took it out. I would have hired another cleaning service any day if I had known her workmanship was less than average. I understand mistakes happen when cleaning, but I cannot afford to pay almost $400 when there were these accidents, especially when two of them cannot be fixed. She was able to get my house clean, but seemed rushed and not focused on what she was doing.

My wife is awaiting back surgery and has been unable to clean our condo for some time, so it needed a thorough cleaning. There were 2 workers. They worked hard continuously over an 8 hour period with only one 15 minute break. Their rate is $60 an hour. They charged $480 for 8 hours and we gave them a $20 tip. They did a good job and we have contracted to have them do follow up cleaning each 2 weeks. We would recommend them to anyone. Jerry Vinett

Let me just say that Brenda and her crew always did a good to great job when cleaning my house. Brenda was prompt and gave a competitive estimate. When she arrived she was dressed in shorts and had tatoos up her leg. Everyone in her crew smoked. To spite this initial lack of professional attire and the smoking breaks I kept them because of the good job they did. I After I received a phone call from Brenda asking me if I got an email from AJ one of her staff, I could no longer ignore the lack of professionalism. AJ was angry with her, had stolen her email list and was sending everyone emails saying that she had stolen from her clients. I am not sure that what AJ was accusing her of was true, but either way this was too much drama for me. We subsequently changed the locks and found a new housekeeper.

The work went well - just long! Again they cleaned deeper than I might have. It took a few phone calls to set up but they always arrived on time, completely equipped. They would not stop to eat and had their own beverages. Brenda was willing and able to tolerate my Jack Russell terrier and my wife's idiosyncracies. Do's: Know what you and to have done and plan to be away most of the time. Don't: I'm not sure I can afford them to come weekly to spot clean. I haven't pursued it yet.

I called Brenda at the last moment to schedule a deep clean. We had just completed a month of moving in and unpacking with a 4 year old, big dog and 4 cats. The house was a DISASTER !! Brenda and her assistant cleaned for 12 hours on a Sunday to get us ready for a last minute dinner party! They did an absolutely fabulous job. My husband and I could not have been more satisfied with her work. We had a housekeeper in Ohio (where we relocated from) and my husband was amazed at how much cleaner Brenda got our new house in TN than our house in Ohio ever was, even with weekly cleaning.

Brenda and her assistants have done an amazing thing for my family. The cost was high, but it has been more than worth it. For one thing, our house has been transformed from a depressing cluttered mess into a clean and organized home. More importantly, I love the peace and well-being I feel at home now, and the guilt and embarrassment I used to feel about my housekeeping abilities is gone. Plus, since Brenda has been coming, I am more motivated to keep up with the house myself, because I don't feel defeated by the clutter any more. My teenage sons have been so happy with the change, too. One of them told me, "Brenda and A.J. are the best things that have happened since we moved here!" I just wish I had called Brenda sooner!

Brenda is a hard worker, and tends to every detail. Plan to continue using, because they do such a great job!

Although for the most part they did a thorough job, I feel that that the cleaning was way over-priced (she charges by the hour and the cleaning crew worked VERY slowly). I would not recommend her based on pricing.

Brenda and her team did an amazing job. She responded quickly to my initial call, scheduled an appointment, where here on time and did a fantastic job. Even parts of my home that I thought were clean were cleaner when they were done. I was having my house cleaned prior to meeting with Realtors to potentially list my home for sale. Without exception, every realtor and realty team that came to the house commented on how immaculate and well cared for the home was. I could not have been happier with the results of their work. Worth every penny.

I had just bought a condo that had been vacant for a long time, so there was a lot of old grime. Brenda and her team arrived within 20 minutes of stated arrival time and worked quickly to get the job done. They were training a new person, and when Brenda saw that the new person hadn't quite gotten everything up to her standards, Brenda went over everything at no extra cost to me. She and A.J. clearly take pride in their work. I would recommend them to everyone.

I had a house cleaning service but the lady was unable to work and had to find the service in a hurry. I looked up the Angie's list and went by the number of reports and felt comfortable in calling this service. I am a busy professional and have no time to shop around and happy that I got a good service.

Immediate response, same day service, excellent work -- very detailed, and reasonable priced! Even though this was last minute, I called that day and Brenda responded right away and was able to work me in that night. They worked for 6 hours until after midnight to get the job done .I would highly recommend their services.

Brenda is very responsive and scheduled my cleaning in a very short time. She arrived a little bit after the scheduled time, but it was no problem at all. When she says deep clean, she means it! She got the dirt out of places I didn't even know existed. The price is not cheap, but it reflects the quality of work. After seeing what S*** & Span can do, I would be hesitant to hire anybody else to do cleaning- I don't know if any other company can clean the way they can!

Brenda and I played phone tag for a couple of days trying to get in touch with one another, but she found a spot for me that same week. I had company coming for the holidays and I really wanted my house clean for my 2 year old granddaughter. We scheduled a Saturday when I was going to be home alone so we could work together and hopefully get the entire house done. When that Saturday came around, my company had come in a day early, my daughter ended up staying here with a friend, I had to go out for awhile and my inlaws came by. So most of the day there were 8 other people in the house while they were trying to clean. It didn't phase them a bit, they just worked around us best they could. Such enthusiasm and warmth from both of them. I can't wait for them to come back.

Had no trouble getting in touch with Brenda and setting up an appointment. When we explained that we were about to have a baby, she was very flexible and made time for us in her busy schedule. I wasn't there to witness the cleaning process, so I didn't actually meet them until after they were through and I went to write them a check. They took the time to show me around and point out what they had done, which was extensive. It's a fairly large house, and it hadn't been lived in for a good while, so it had accumulated a good amount of funk. They cleaned for eight hours, and it was clear that they had really scrubbed. There was one thing that required a specialized tool, which she didn't have, so she offered to come back at a later date to finish it up. I took her up on that offer, and she did come back to care of it, and she also went back over a couple other spots while she was there. I've never used a house cleaning service before, so it's hard for me to judge their work relative to others, but I did feel like they did a good job. It seemed a bit pricy to me, but again, I don't know the market very well, so I'm not sure how they compare to the going rates.

Fast response, had my first cleaning within a few days. They started immediately and didn't stop for six and a half hours, working at full speed! This, for only a 1500 square foot condo!

I was impressed by the intensity and thoroughness of the cleaning. I had a housecleaner for a year and the amount of dirt, dust, etc that was removed at this cleaning was remarkable considering my other housecleaner was in the week before! I have since hired this team to conduct my regular house cleaning and have let my other house keeper go.

They did an amazing job on very short notice!! They came in and cleaned everything including changing sheets on the beds. The play room was a disaster but they streightened it up. Brenda and her team is amazing. They are not the cheapest, they are just the best!!

It went well. I have someone that cleans my house bi-weekly, but does not do a very good job. It was obvious to Brenda and her co-worker. I felt my house was really clean for the first time in a long time. If I had it to do over again, I would have had them start with down stairs in our master bedroom and the kitchen. I think they were so tired by the time they got down that the job did not seem quite as thorough as I had hoped. Over all they did a very good job. One thing that bothered me is that after they did their job Brenda really pressed me to comment on Angie's list. Many e-mails because I had not. She knew my husband had his cancerous prostate removed 2 days after their job. He had a rough recovery. Between caring for him and caring for the 5 grandchildren that live with us, I was just not able to submit a comment in a timely manner. They were exceptionally nice and I think I would hire them again.

One of my clients asked me to find someone to clean his house asap as a surprise for his wife. Brenda and her colleague were able to do the cleaning two days after I called, which was much more quickly than anyone else was able to work me in. They cleaned the whole house, top to bottom, and did an amazing job! My client was SUPER happy. He said that his wife had never been happy with any house cleaner before, but was thrilled with the work that S*** N Span did. They were very thorough, even cleaned the top of the kitchen cabinets. I was especially impressed that they straightened and put things away. This was the initial cleaning, so was more expensive than ongoing cleaning costs would be. After they were done, Brenda gave me price quotes for weekly, biweekly, monthly, etc. cleanings. My client asked to have them come back every other week, which costs $140 at his house. Not bad for that size house.

They arrived at the time they said they would ready to go to work . I told them the type of cleaner I would furnish to clean my laminate flooring other wise they provided all their supplies They cleaned windows(inside) Cleaned a glass top dining table top & bottom. They gave me a price when I talked with them on the phone and I knew what to expect I HIGHLY recommend them

Brenda was prompt in both her response to our request for cleaning and also the day of the job. We are very happy with her professionalism and quality of work. We would recommend her to any of our friends looking for a high quality cleaning service.

Brenda and Sandra both do amazing work. I am extremely picky about my house but my work and other obligations keep me from paying as much attention to detail as I would like, therefore I reluctantly hired a cleaning service. Since I set my own expectations so high, I didn't know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. They were both professional, polite and prompt. They work very hard the entire time and even deduct time for short breaks from your final bill - which was amazing to me because they only stopped for two short periods of time (in four hours) to catch their breath or get something to drink. Brenda and Sandra are so personable, I chatted with them for quite some time after the work was finished. I immediately set up bi-weekly service when they finished the initial first cleaning - I was very impressed!
