When I got the keys to my new house, I almost cancelled my scheduled cleaning because I thought that it looked very clean. I'm so glad I didn't! Brenda and Shauna worked for several hours scrubbing blinds, dusting high spaces, and otherwise unearthing dirt I likely never would have thought to look for. I am so thrilled with the job they did--the house will never be this clean again!

I found Brenda several months ago. I have never hired a house "cleaner" before. I am single and have an apartment. I always have a TON of clothes to be washed, dried and hung up. I also have two small doggies that shed. When I came home the first time after their visit, I was astonished! EVERYTHING was sparkly it was so clean. Not only that, my closet was completely organized (as were my bathroom drawers and cabinets and jewelry organizer)!!! I was blown away. I simply felt relief and calmness. I usually leave a key under my matt and a check on the fridge. I trust Benda and her crew immensely. She does a fantastic job and cleans places I don't even think about...... Some say that the price is too high, well it is a good bit of money, however, there is a LOT OF WORK done during the 4-8 hours she and her crew are there working. You get what you pay for. I know not having to clean all weekend or worry about making my house perfect for an event or when company comes to town, when I'm already exhausted from work, is a complete relief. I have nothing but good things to say about Brenda and have used her before events or relatives visiting or when I need a break. She truly enjoys what she does and it shows in her work. She goes above and beyond. Literally, she gets on a step ladder to clean the top of my refrigerator! It sounds silly, but she even folds my toilet paper in a little triangle before she leaves :) Hire this Lady, She's AWESOME!!!! Completely satisfied customer here.

We are two people with full time jobs are house isn't that messy we aren't here a lot. So much time wasted, fee was astronomical, the house was clean but it was inconcivent to have them here sooooo long - they just ripped us off plain and simple

The house was a mess prior to Brenda getting there. Once she arrived I g,ave her a tour of what needed to be done. She is the type of person who looks for the details that need to be done. This is the third property she has cleaned for me and each job is as good as the last one. That is the reason I do not call anyone else!

They did a great job they were at my house from 9:30 to 11:00 pm and cleaned everything from top to bottom

We were moving to a brand new construction house that was empty with no furniture that no one had ever lived in before. We were led to believe this would be a 3-4 hour job We were charged for 8 hours work for 2 people to clean a 6000 foot house. They did not complete the job in that time frame We would recommend that anyone who hires this company get in writing the exact scope of the work they want to do and the exact time they think it will take them.

I called the night before and Brenda fit me in the next day! I paid for 3 hours and she worked 3 hr and 45 mins to make sure she got the entire house finished! I'm very impressed!! Great quality and price! I highly recommend!

I had several cleaning companies in the past, that missed a lot of things. So I was reluctant to hire another cleaning company, but I was amazed with A Spic & Span Cleaning Company. Brenda and her worker Sandra done an amazing job with cleaning my home. They are very detailed, professional and friendly. I was very impressed with the job they have done. Brenda even stayed late to help me put up a dresser, and didn't charge me. She is the best, I would recommend her to anyone. I look forward to her cleaning bi-weekly.

Brenda did a great cleaning job, no question. The price per hour and the number of hours it took was, however, exaggerated and unjustifiable. I felt like she was running up the cost to be honest. I used to clean houses in college, I know what it costs and how long it takes. Happy with the result though, so I moved on. The reason she has a C and not a B is the lack of professionalism. Months after the fact, she starts texting me in the middle of the night asking me to go to her Go-Fund-Me page to help her pay for a Mexican Vacation. What?? So I texted her to quit. Her response was unprofessional and unapologetic, telling me that it wasn't really a personal matter, that it was a matter of humanity and helping a fellow man, and that it's people like me to blame for so much hatred in the world..... hmm. Her hour of need that drove her to contact strangers after midnight is her urgent need to go play in Mexico. Anyway. Thanks for the cleaning job, but unless you want a hanger on for who knows how long, find someone else. I am sure the work can be done just as well and less expensive too.

A tremendous deep clean of entire house. She LITERALLY cleaned every surface in our house. Got our house in good shape, and she will now come once a week to clean, launder and help keep my busy family organized!!

They arrived when they said they would and stayed from 4:30 until after 9:30. The toilet had been clogged and was a terrible mess. Brenda cheerfully tackled a very large and digusting job. I had no idea there was sewage all over the toilet and floor, but she took it all in stride like it was no big deal. I have a lot of small pieces of decorations which they cleaned and placed in a pleasing manner. (I have recently moved and still don't have everything where it needs to go so this was especially helpful.) Every request I made was easily agreed to from washing and folding the sheets to lining the toaster oven with foil. They were helpful, accomodating and professional in every way. They helped me de-clutter and organize some of the things I didn't manage to put away before they arrived. Brenda even put away my groceries, finding places for all of them to help me. They vaccumed, dusted, washed windows, mopped, cleaned the kitchen and the utility room, cleaned light fixtures, took out the trash, wiped down insde bathroom cabinets, pulled out refridgerator and washer and dryer to clean behind them. They even fixed the dryer vent which had come loose from the wall. Brenda took the stove apart and made it shine from the inside out. They hunted down dirt in places that would never occur to me. They exceeded my expectations in every way.

Often late. Staff sometimes sat in car in driveway for extended periods of time before they started work. Neighbors called us concerned. Quality of cleaning was very good. Extremely detailed. Initial clean price was way too expensive. Biweekly clean price was also expensive. Antique furniture damaged without explanation, apology or offer to reimburse or discount service. That was last straw for me.

We've used several house cleaners in the past, and the results were always inconsistent (sometimes good, sometimes not so much). Brenda has been the exception - she provides a much more thorough cleaning than the others we've used and for about the same price. She arrives on time, and has done a great job each time! We're really happy we've found her!

They were very easy to deal with and prompt in their service. My wife was very happy with the job they did.

the house looks amazing and they cleaned everything. it looks new again. the only issue I had was it took 12 hours. these ladies worked at it all day until after 10pm. I was told it would take 6-8 hours but this was without actually seeing the house. the time just kept extending. which was disappointing especially since it's charged hourly and I ended up paying A lot.

Warning, Spic & Span does not give Estimates - this can lead to some real surprises. My house is approximately 1200-1300 square feet, I live alone, no pets. My home was not a filthy mess - I have been a very good housekeeper and only recently realized that I could not continue doing this work to my satisfaction. I am a smoker and there were areas that needed some attention, like the venetian blinds, and ceiling light fixutres. I did not think of the possibilities of No Estimate, and guessed that 2 people would take about 4 - 6 hours to clean my home. I could have never imagined almost 14 hours over 2 days. for a total of $823.00. They work very slowly. I did not get my money's worth + nothing was returned to their original places + broken garbage can lid and a kitchen cabinet door fastener.

Brenda and her staff were professional and detailed. They were courteous and maintained a cheerful attitude throughout the day! The cost was for 2 cleaners who each put in 12 hours of hard work and we believe that we got a fair deal. We will be calling them again!

When I say that these ladies are thorough, I mean they are THOROUGH! They cleaned a commercial space I own and my home. I asked them for a deep clean and they did an outstanding job and were very detailed. They were on time and very amenable to whatever I wanted or did not want done. The cost listed above is a per hour charge. Both of the jobs took several hours, each one lasting an entire day and into the evening. I was not expecting it to take that long, but once I realized how much really needed to be done and the level of detail involved, I appreciated the time and effort that when into these jobs. If time is not an issue, I highly recommend Brenda and her team!

Brenda and her staff did a wonderful job cleaning our home, stove and refrigerator. We had painters in our home at the time of their arrival and they worked around him with ease. They knew that we were having a house guest for a few weeks and did a little extra work by cleaning the baseboards. They are reasonably priced and take pride in their work. I have been using Spic and Span for years and they are fabulous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are very punctual and very responsive. I don't know what I would do without their help. I highly recommend Brenda and her crew.

Brenda spent hours cleaning a bath and a half bath making them look better than I imagined. She asked me what I wanted her to clean and what to leave since she could have spent at least 12-15 hours on the house since it was in such rough shape. She focused on the kitchen and bathrooms to get all the grime of the last 10 years off of them and make them shine like new. I told her that she didn't need to worry with the carpets since they were at least 10 years old and just needed to be replaced but she went above and beyond and showed me that the stains could be cleaned out if you worked at it -- which was great but I know there are several burn marks so the carpet can't be saved but that is just how far that Brenda would go to make sure that you are satisfied with her work.

$60 an hour for a deep clean of a bathroom of a sick elderly women who had bathroom accidents. 9:30-3:30 for a 9 square foot bathroom and a 24 square foot narrow hall bath, no showers were cleaned at my request. Emergency response on a holiday weekend. I do not want to go into incredible detail for the respect of my post surgery recovery mother and ask that in response Brenda respect the legal confidentiality issues of privacy in regard to health care. My dissatisfaction is with the inordinate amount of time it took to do a deep clean, that was not requested. I asked for a specific type of clean and specific areas cleaned. The time was excessive for the small space and I have grave concerns about using Angie's list for any type of services in the future. I hope anyone reading the highly positive reviews first scroll through the cost for each of these services as I failed to do so. My other best advice is to use a service that gives estimates and commits to a time frame.

She completely cleaned the refrigerator and stove and housecleaned the apartment. The apartment is very old and we were afraid of what we might find if we just arrived. The apartment was move in ready.

Brenda has been cleaning my house for 1 1/2 years. She is very reliable. If she is going to be late, she always calls to let me know and tries to work with me if I need to change the schedule. She does a very good job and I trust her to be in my home while I am not here.

These ladies are GRRRREAT! I never had a house this clean before. They are really fast for the thorough cleaning they do. And they are thorough! No gunk in the corners of my bathroom floor, no sir! Even the blinds and the walls are routinely cleaned. They weren't just cleaned the first time and then forgotten. Seriously, there hasn't been a cobweb in my house since Brenda started cleaning it. I have had other house cleaning services before Spic & Span and they aren't even in the same league as Brenda. Every time she cleans my house it is as amazingly clean as the first time. I have a very stressful job and having Brenda keep my house this clean has given me a wonderful gift - time to relax. I hardily recommend A Spic & Span Cleaning Service to anyone who want to get, and keep, their home thoroughly clean.
