A Spic & Span Cleaning Service

I have had cleaning services and other private individuals clean for me. I have never anyone clean as thoroughly as Brenda. She is not a surface cleaner. She is deep cleaner! Her attention to detail is amazing. She always arrives on time and is pleasant and courteous. She has been cleaning for me for about 7 months. ( the previous owners of my home recommended her) She is trustworthy and always goes the extra mile to make things spic and span. She does such a great job at my home that I have had her come to my business to deep clean. If you are looking for someone to rush in and surface clean and fluff things up then don't use Brenda. Brenda is a deep cleaner... she doesn't vacuum around things... she vacuums under them. She doesn't wipe off the coffee pot, she cleans all the parts. She doesn't just clean the toilet seat, she scrubs the entire commode. She doesn't just fluff the pillows on the couch, she vacuums under the cushions. She doesn't just clean my tube, she rinses out the jacuzzi lines. I have read some reviews that weren't happy with her prices. My opinion is that you get what you pay for in most cases and especially in the service industry. Brenda is worth every dollar I spend with her! My life is so busy and coming home to a true "spic and span" home is heaven for me. Brenda's cleaning actually makes me a happier Mother and wife. Always on time, friendly and did a great job.

They were a little late but that wasn't the problem. When they did arrive, all of the cleaning towels were dirty from the night before so I let them use the washer. With so much do to that day, I had to leave them on their own and I wonder how long they watched the clothes spin around. That was my mistake. We had just bought a home so it was completely empty and accessible. Three people spent 3 hours 'cleaning' the upstairs 3 bedrooms, which were already clean. The ceiling fan in my office is covered in dust. Mars and scuffs are still on every upstairs floor. This is the absolute worst cleaning experience I've had and it cost us $500! For such an expensive and incomplete cleaning, I feel pretty dirty. I believe they wasted time on purpose. I'm completely dissatisfied.

Brenda and her employee did a fabulous job on this house before renters were due to move in. She is extremely thorough and meticulous, friendly and understanding. She let me know in advance when she could tell that it would take more time than we had initially booked her for, to finish the job right. She was willing to shave corners if we needed to, and was very professional at all times. I think this was a great price for the job she did. You get what you pay for, and a whole lot more. She was on time (9 am on a Sunday) and stayed until almost 7 pm. She responded immediately to my last minute need for this job, and rearranged her weekend plans to accommodate me. She is a jewel, and after reading a lot of reviews on Angie's List, I am so happy I picked her! I didn't have to worry about language barriers, and although Sprint has terrible service at her home, was able to text with me and make arrangements quickly when I contacted her. I will definitely be using her services again and recommending her to everyone I know.

I was moving and needed the house cleaned for the buyers. The ladies came in and did a marvelous job and shoestring budget and time.

I called Brenda so she can do an estimate for clean of my home. I called and left two messages. She returned my call on the third day, noting that she was sorry that she could not get back to me sooner. We made a date for her to come and look at my house and give me an estimate for an initial clean and then for regular services. She came out and described the level of clean she would do on the initial visit and then on return cleans. I was truly hoping to hire her. Unfortunately, because I missed some details in her posted business description, we decided not to use them. The deciding factor, was that her business is not bonded and insured. This information is posted in her business description, I had just not seen it before I made the call. I do not feel uncomfortable hiring someone who's not bonded, but it is more disturbing that I would hire someone not insured to work in my house. If something would go wrong, and one of her workers got hurt in my house, only my homeowners insurance would cover their injuries. Brenda noted that she would look into being bonded and insured again, but this was an expense that she was not willing to pay. It is unfortunate because I think she describes a level of cleaning I would like to have in my home.

They clean everything the touch or move form the top to the bottom....they move furniture ....they clean what is on the wall and the clean the wall.....They really claen your house!!

Brenda does a FANTASTIC job! I contacted her on Monday evening and they were able to clean my house on Wednesday evening. They deep cleaned 3 rooms in 5 hours. Deep cleaned...Deep, DEEP cleaned 3 rooms. They cleaned from the ceiling to the floor - from vents, ceiling fans, window blinds to baseboards and EVERYTHING in between. They even cleaned the gunky build up in the corners of the bathroom! Nobody takes the time to do that, but Brenda does. They definitely lives up to the name SPIC & SPAN. It takes time to deep clean a whole house and at $60/hour it is expensive but now that I know what deep cleans means and it is worth every penny. When I get paid again, I'll have them back to finish the deep clean and hopefully be able to set up an ongoing cleaning schedule. I am thrilled to have found my new cleaning service!!

Brenda and her team were responsive to my request for a deep cleaning of our home prior to listing for sale. The team was at my house two full days and did a thorough cleaning of all but two rooms. They are nit-picky about dirt and don't rest until the place is spotless. I had been trying to get a hard-water stain off of my children's sink for weeks and Brenda managed to get it removed successfully. The team did a magnificent job, so well that our professional home stager and real estate agent (both of whom have worked with a wide variety of housecleaning services) asked for their referral. My only issue is that perhaps they were too thorough as they ran out of time to even do a basic cleaning of two rooms (which in a house of this size is not an enormous issue). Given the large dollar amount for the cleaning and that they didn't pace themselves to make it to those last two rooms, I gave them a B for pricing. The quality of the work, however, cannot be disputed. If you choose to enlist their services, make sure to communicate clearly your expectations from the start to avoid this situation. The team will be as thorough as you like and perhaps my own learning experience is to better communicate from the beginning.

We purchased the 3 hour service for $79.00 special offer. This was our first experience using a cleaning service in our primary home. We were expecting one person for 3 hours, and we were expecting a general dusting & vacuuming. That was not the case. Brenda arrived with a helper. (We assumed that a "crew of two" would be 1 and 1/2 hours - that was not the case either, btw). Brenda gave the house a look over, and suggested that their time would be better spent if they concentrated on a specific area and perform a "deep clean". She and her partner focused on the master bedroom & bath. They went at it and before you knew it, 3 hours had passed. They were doing a great job, so we figured if there was any additional cost it would be understandable. When they finished, Brenda had us sign the Angie's purchase sheet and she expected no further compensation. We thanked her, booked her for a return visit in early January to tackle the rest of the house, and gave a tip as well. Very nice, respectful, hard working people, and they did a great job. Our ceiling fan was literally shining. The two rooms have never been cleaner. We will now be using this service on a regular basis.

They did a good job, but overall did not act professionally. Would consider using them again, but would probably try someone else first.

As noted, their work was excellent from start to finish. In fact, they came out at 10 am and, amazingly, they worked until 11:00! They did everything at a "deep clean" level, fighting to get every bt of dirt and dust bunny till they were gone.

I was very pleased with the cleaning. They were quite professional about the work.They did go over the hours and I had to pay the regular price for those hours which I knew going into the service. I found that the regular price was quite high. They were much more thorough than other companies I had used before.

Brenda Calderone returned my call quickly and we settled on a date for the deep clean that worked for both of us. She volunteered to come on a Saturday, which worked out well for me. She arrived right on time at 9:45 am and when I came back to my house around 5:30 pm that day, they were still cleaning. I watched some of the tasks they performed and both are very detailed. These folks take cleaning seriously. No dusty, dirty stone is left unturned. Brenda's crew is friendly, conscientious, hard working, detailed and really seem to care about making sure my house is clean and fresh when they leave. This has been a pleasant experience for me with cleaners. The last cleaning company I hired was much more concerned about how quickly they "finished" than how clean my home was when they left. Since the deep clean, I arranged with Brenda for a bi-weekly clean of my house and they continue to do an excellent job. Brenda usually has a mop or rag in her hand cleaning minute imperfections she sees on her way out the door. My only concern is the cost to clean my small house every other week, but the difference in how I feel about my house after a Spic and Span clean makes it worth the money.

I purchased "The Big deal" last October..... a 3 hour house cleaning for $79. Well Brenda came over yesterday and I was going to have her do the base boards and stuff that I never do very often but instead she did not just clean....she deep cleaned and as I said she moved everything around and out of the way as she cleaned to get every spot and every detail. So instead of doing just the base boards she thoroughly cleaned 3 rooms from top to bottom and anyone can come over and do the white glove test anywhere in those 3 rooms....she has one employee and she makes her clean everything just the way she does it. So if you pay someone to clean your house and they vacuum and dust you are not experiencing the true service of getting a house cleaned....In fact she did so well I am going to have her clean my entire house the way she did those three rooms to get me where I want to be and then start with her every other week to keep me spotless....Her rates are $60 an hour and she does not go slow but she does a very thorough job ....a job better than I have ever seen a houscleaning company ever do!!.....SHE IS WORTH IT!!!!....Use this company and you will be extremely happy you did!!

I purchased the Angie's Big Deal coupon for three hours of housecleaning for $79. This is a great bargain for six personhours of work. they arrived at 9:30am and worked until 12:30. During that time they tackled the job that I requested: cleaning all of the oak baseboards and cabinets on the main floor of our home which is a 2100 square feet space. The remaining time was used to deep clean as much of the kitchen as possible. The counters were scrubbed, every item on counter cleaned, outside of appliances cleaned. They also used a longhandled duster to reach cobwebs in all rooms and dusted the ceiling fans. I felt that they worked diligently and did an excellent job. I would use them again.

I thought Brenda was great! She had another person with her and the two of them cleaned for about 6 hours. They scrubbed and cleaned and got a ton of stuff that I wouldn't have seen or even known was there. They found things that had been missing for months. They got candle wax up. I will use them again!

Brenda called me back within an hour and we set a date for the cleaning. They arrived about 20 minutes late but Brenda called to tell me that it was farther than she had thought and let me know when to expect them. Brenda was very professional and did a very good job cleaning my house. We have a lot of bookcases and they removed everything on the shelves. I checked under the beds and the floors were definitely cleaned under them! I was very happy with the work done and have decided to use this cleaning service on a biweekly basis. I would highly recommended Spic and Span Cleaning. I have used several different cleaning companies and have never had someone clean my house like I want it cleaned until now.

Started propmtly around 9am and after brief tour of condo and requests for what was needed (thorough deep cleaning) she and her assistant pitched in and worked feverishly all through the day, ending beyond sundown. Nothing was disturbed, misplaced,or broken. Brenda did not display the "chatty" behavior seen with other cleaners, although quite friendly and informal, she was 100% work-oriented

Overall, everything went pretty well. The actual cleaning was very deep and thorough, and I ended up paying a lot more than I originally was going to since they did such a very deep clean. They broke a keepsake that I had, and took it with them to try to fix it. One month later I still haven't heard back from them about this. Although I do understand that accidents happen sometimes, it was a little disappointing since I paid so much.

Everything went very well, I had completed a list of duties I need them to performed during their timemat my home. All duties on the list were completed.

Overall the experience was great. I called Brenda about 2 weeks before I wanted her to come and clean my house, at first I got her answering machine, left a message, then she called the next day (very prompt). I had her come and clean my house the day I was going to get induced to have my daughter. I left the key and trusted her to complete the job, she did and everything was great. She even called my husband to ask if she could stay an extra hour to make sure she could get to the fridge and oven, she didn't just assume she could, which was very nice. I came home from the hospital a few days later and the house looked and smelled great. I hope to have her come again and clean my house. I would recommend her to anybody who wants to have their house deep cleaned and receive a good job in the process
