Description of Work: Fertilized lawn and sprayed for weeds. They did fine, although they did not get all the weeds, but will probably fix that on a return visit.

Description of Work: TruGreen has been treating my lawn on a monthly basis for about five years or more. My lawn looks as mediocre today as it did before their first treatment. They are still treating my lawn only because I haven't taken the time to find a replacement. Today I received notice of a price hike. I've just found my motivation to replace them. I'll be sending in my termination notice with my next payment.

Description of Work: They treated lawn with fertilizer and did a four time a year tree and shrub treatment. My yard really looks good because of the time they fertilized. The tree and shrub treatment was also good as I could them grow and have a good color.

Description of Work: We started with Scotts 2008. The service was for fertilization, weed control and for 2 years aireation and over seeding. I had a problem with massive weeds the next spring and contacted them. My concern being poor quality seed. Getting to a manager to discuss the problem was an effort as the girl who answered the phone was positive it was not their problem. I did get a manager out to my home but again was told it was not their problem. I had a man from UT view my lawn and was told the it was crab grass, and indeed caused by the aireation I stayed with them as I thought the problem would be corrected with the weed control. The tech that did our lawn last season was brand new to the company and did not know what he was doing. When shown an area of weeds that he had missed the previous visit he over sprayed killing the grass. I did not contact them as I did not choose to deal with me being wrong and them being right.We had one service this past Feb. but by then I had decided I really did not wish to have them anymore

Description of Work: We continue to use Scott's Lawn Service and they are great. A really excellent service!

Description of Work: When I was old enough to start learning how to take care of our lawn, my Dad told me to trust in Scotts products, (living in Ohio helped). Scott’s products are amazing and I do trust in them. We moved to Boyd’s creek a few years ago; the property that our house is on needed much TLC, so I called Scotts lawn service because what I needed was professional help. The customer service was great at first, but in the last year and a half they have failed miserably. Like other comments posted the specialists that apply the product seemed knowledgeable and courteous, (when they actually showed up). It was a nightmare trying to get them to show up at our house. What’s funny is my neighbor and I are on the same plan; Scotts would show up and treat his lawn but not mine, not very good management. After weeks of trying to get them to at least answer me concerning when my lawn would be treated and receiving no answer, and no service I have decided to cancel all remaining services. I was hoping for a great lawn this year, but thanks to poor management at Scotts, I will wait until next year and hope another service provider can provide the professional help my lawn needs. In this economy you would think every business would do what they could to please each customer and develop long lasting relationships. What amazes me is that their are plenty of customers that want to use Scott's service, but Scott's has betrayed that trust, and any loyalty gained is now lost, and spreading.
