+ -1 moreWhen I called and asked if it was possible for him to show up around 4pm on a specific date (the day we closed on our house), Wayne said it would be no problem. He was on time and very polite. He re-keyed the 2 locks on our front door and the 2 on our back door to use the same key for all 4 locks. He also re-keyed 1 lock on our garage door. When he made our keys (on the spot in his vehicle!), he gave us decorative keys so we would be able to distinguish our new house keys from the rest. Wayne even offered up suggestions for how to fix our front door (it sticks when you try to close it). I would hire him again and highly recommend his services.
Description of Work: We had 5 locks re-keyed and 3 keys made.

+ -1 moreWe had just moved into our house, and I wanted to have to door locks changed as soon as possible. I called Wayne on Monday morning, July 3rd, to replace the locks on six outside doors. He came that afternoon to give an estimate. We agreed on the price and Wayne returned the next day (the Fourth of July) to do the work. Wayne completed the lock work on the fourth and returned the next day to put on weather stripping on a door, so the door would fit properly. He also made ten extra keys for us and gave them to us before he left on the 4th. We were very pleased with Wayne's work.
Description of Work: Wayne replaced all of our outside door locks and made additional keys for us.

+ -1 moreWayne was very polite, returned my call within a reasonable time. He was initially concerned about our security until I explained that the lock failed in the locked position and that we could get in and out of the house by other doors. He accommodated our schedule. He called the morning of his appointment to verify the time and called us when he was twenty minutes from the house. He not only fixed the broken lock but also loosened the mechanism on the lock on the door handle so the key worked in that one.
Description of Work: We had a deadbolt lock that was broken. The key could turn 360 degrees but not engage the bolt. The lock mechanism was sheared. Wayne had to cut the deadbolt to open the door. He replaced the bolt and used the old key mechanism. He also reset the door so the bolt lined up properly with the strike plate.

Description of Work: I own a cleaning business and misplaced a client's key. I called Mr. Zwifel to see if he could rekey the lock. Although I located the key the day before Mr. Zwifel was to go to the house, I wanted to report on Mr. Zwifel's professionalism, prompt response and courtesy. I would definitely recommend him to anyone in that area in need of a locksmith.

Description of Work: Made an appointment to have door locks repaired. The morning of the appointment, Wayne called stating he had an emergency job and would reschedule my appointment. This was over 3 weeks ago and he has not rescheduled.

+ -1 moreWAYNE IS A ONE-MAN SHOW. HE IS EASY TO GET HOLD OF, TO MAKE AN APPT. WITH QUICKLY, SHOWS UP ON TIME, AND DOES TOP-NOTCH WORK, AND RETURNED TO MAKE A MINOR ADJUSTMENT LATER. WOULD USE HIM AGAIN, AND RECOMMEND HIM HIGHLY.
