Foremost, we appreciate the owner's (Wayne's) honesty and integrity. Wayne gave us an estimate over the phone to re-key our locks, but he explained that every job is different and would feel better if he was able to look at the locks first. When Wayne saw what we had, he pointed out where the locks were damaged, or installed improperly or worn out. He knew that if we replaced the locks, we would do it ourselves, so we knew he wasn't trying to sell us anything. Despite losing business for himself, he advised us that the locks should be replaced. He also looked at 2 sliding door locks that didn't seem to work and we would have paid him to replace them. However, he said they were very good, expensive locks and just needed lubricating and he got them working again, at no charge. I felt bad that we couldn't give him any business because we appreciated his honesty and good old-fashioned service, but I hope that by recommending him, we can send other business his way.

When I contacted Valley Locksmith service I explained my situation and what I needed done. We arranged for a day and time for Wayne to come and do the job. He advised me of exactly what I needed to get for the job (he would have gotten the lock sets himself, but offered me the option of picking it out personally - I chose that). He called when he was on the way, and was at my home within 10 minutes of the call. He carefully and in detail showed me what he was going to do, and then performed the tasks; he adjusted the door itself for more efficient operation so that the locks would fit properly, and then put in the locks. He left everything neat and orderly, and charged what he estimated would be the payment. THANKS!!

Wayne was prompt and extremely nice. He let us know that one of our dead bolts had been recalled and waited for me to run to the hardware store to purchase a new one so that he could install it and key it to match all of the others. On his advice, we returned the recalled dead bolt to Home Depot and they issued us a full refund.

Great. Wayne was very accomdating of the delays and very thorough in explaining my options.The next day Wayne completed the work and left the new keys in one of his lockboxes for me. This allowed me work overtime that week!

I called Valley Locksmith on Tuesday to make an appointment. Wayne came to our home on Saturday morning to re-key our 3 doors. Two doors with deadbolt type locks and one lock that had keyless entry. Wayne was very polite and professional. He arrived on time. The job took about 2 hours. It was very convenient for me that he came on Saturday so I did not have to take time off from work. I called Wayne about getting the car opened. He was on another job at the time, but referred me to another locksmith in the event I needed help immediately, without my asking. This was not an emergency, so I was able to wait for Wayne to finish the job at hand. Wayne arrived within two hours of my initial call, and had the car unlocked within minutes. As a precaution, he had me verify that all the locks still functioned from the key fob pushbuttons. All worked fine. This is an example of a straightforward job that was done in a straightforward manner. Prior to going to Angie's List, I googled and quot;locksmithand quot; followed by my zip code, and the results were less than encouraging. Several different addresses led to the same generic site, and the only info given about the company was a phone number. Another site consisted of a spiel of mangled English, but with plenty of buzzwords pertaining to my town to inspire and quot;confidenceand quot; in using this and quot;localand quot; service. I was not confident as to my satisfaction in calling these places. Wayne is local, prompt, polite, reasonable, and probably most important for this line of work, BONDED and LICENSED. I wholeheartedly recommend him, and will call him for my future locksmith needs.

We had the keys locked in our running Toyota Camry. Because this was a Sunday there were little options. We looked up Angie's List and noted Valley Locksmith because of the rating and close proximity to us. Wayne arrived in 20 minutes and completed the job in 15 minutes. I saw enough about this service, Wayne is top notch!

After I lost one of my house keys, I called this company to re-key all my doors and provide new keys. Because I was able to tell him the brand and type of locks, and also the # on the lockset, he was able to price the job on the phone. He came over quickly, re-keyed the locks and provided new keys quickly. I was very happy with this job.

He explained that he does quality work right from the start and did just that. He added silicone caulk to some sharp edges and covered up open holes in the door frame that the previous locksmith left behind. I contacted Wayne Zweifel prior to moving to North Carolina (he was an Angie's List recommendation). I told him I was settling on my new home on 4/26 and wanted to change the locks that day. He told me to call him once settlement was complete and that he would make time to come over that day. I called and as soon as he was finished with the appt. he was on, he came over, changed all of the locks and made extra keys for me. Wayne was great!

My friend's mother locked her keys inside the house. She called several locksmiths before asking me to look up locksmiths on Angie's list. About the 10th person she contacted was Wayne with Valley Locksmith Service. Wayne quoted her a price and told her he was pretty far away from them and it would be a couple of hours before he could come. Since they were going to church and lunch afterward, that worked fine for them as his price was the most reasonable quoted. She called him back when they got home and he was at their house in less than 30 minutes. He was quick, professional, and reasonably priced. Everyone else she called charged a $35 travel fee and approximately $60 or more in labor. None of them could give her an exact price and she suspected the price would have been higher than the $95 quote once they arrived. Wayne quoted $60 and charged $60. He was kind and professional and said he hoped that by treating people right, others would do the same for him and his family when they needed help. That philosophy and his professionalism should keep him in business and thriving after others who take advantage of a frustrating situation are out of business. By the way, the work was done on Sunday afternoon. Wayne also informed my friend that AAA will reimburse her for the locksmith charge if the car keys were locked inside with the house keys. They were so she plans to follow up with AAA as well. My friend appreciated his advice. My friend highly recommends Valley Locksmith Service and Wayne Zweifel.

Wayne came over to my home within an hour after speaking with him. He quickly diagnosed the problem with my lock and fixed it in a timely manner. I found Wayne to be very personable, professional and knowledgeable of the task at hand. I would definitely use Wayne's services again!

I have some complicated locking system. They are reconstructed kind of historic locks. I don't remember the gentleman's name but he used to do repairs and maintenance on locks for a company. He handled this lock and put it in. It's been like two years and it still works perfectly. He was very professional, very quite and just did his job. When he told me he would be here, he was here. When he was finished he cleaned up and left. That is exactly you want in a service person.
