The deck is sixteen feet off the ground with +20 stairs and extensive lighting. It was done on budget and on time. "once the project started it was one delay/excuse after another due to inability to get subs lined up to perform the work. Several times two to three weeks would pass with no work performed. Some of the work is decent quality, while work performed by some of the trades/subs is only fair (borderline poor) quality. Make sure to follow-up in writing any and all verbal agreements on work scope, compensation, etc. On the plus side, he is open to making small changes to the design/build without claiming "change order". Unfortunately, the project didn't end well so the final impression is poor."
