Description of Work: When the duct work under our house became disconnected, we decided to install new duct work and to convert our heating and A/C into one unit that would be located out from under our house. We had at least three heating/ac businesses to give us a quote. When comparing the quotes for the same size unit, All American gave the lowest quote. While gathering info about their quote, we made several phone calls to them, and each time they were thorough in their explanation and most friendly. We decided to do business with them. They came early one morning and worked until the early evening until the installation of our new duct work and heating/ac unit were finished. From what we understand this is their common practice to complete a job in one day. They certainly send out a full team to have a job completed in one day. We have been quite pleased.

Description of Work: In times past we had always depended on family and friends for recommendations on companies to handle major repairson/installation of things such as HVAC equipment. More often than not our experience had been less than our expectations and satisfaction. When the time came to replace the principal central AC unit in our home we decided to go to "Angie's L:ist" to see if was as helpful as everybody told us.Given our experience using "Angie's List" to research then select and subsequently retain "All American Heating and Air" we wll never attempt a major project without using what I now call "the A list". "All American" earned superlatives in each and every category I could ever think of. I've never been happier spending the considerable money we did knowing that I had total peace of mind with the superior equipment they installed and the professional and courteous manner they presented during every phase of the project. We never hesitated to call them back several months after the first project was completed to replace the heat pump for the addition to our home which was done many years ago. They determined that the duct work should also be replaced which I readily agreed to..Same "over the top" satisfaction here as we had with the initial work. We will never use any othe company as long as we reside in this area. .

Description of Work: We TRIED to interview this company for jobs we would like to have referred to them AT NO COST. Referring a good company can seemingly also be helpful to another business. When we called, we had no one pick up the first, nor second time. Finally after the third attempt, a rude women with a child screaming in the back ground at 530pm picked up and said .. YEA?... We told them who we were and asked if we could schedule a time to talk... When said they had too much work and could not talk to anyone for the next two week. Very poor customer service no matter whom we were. WE DO NOT RECOMMENDED THIS COMPANY BASED UPON A LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM AND COURTESY.

Description of Work: I called at 10am and it was fixed by 4pm. Very prompt and efficient. Checked all and replaced the capacitor. Is 96 outside and was 86 inside...whew! Very impressed with the service and a very reasonable maintenence agreement. And thanks to Angie's List I had a coupon to use.

Description of Work: complete installation of new heat pump When we knew we had to replace our heat pump, we called All American first. We had bought our first heat pump from them and when we had trouble with it they were here immediately. They could not repair it and Gene Royer(owner of the company) came our house to discuss getting it replaced. We had to contact the manufacturer and Gene did the rest,within 3 days we had a new one installed. So, when the old heat pump was dying we called then first. Not only was their price the best, but they did some duct repair for free and the back yard was cleaner when they left that it was before they came!

Description of Work: My AC went out and I called American for a service repair. Within an hour they were at my house and had me fixed up. They were fast, efficient, reasonably priced, and I will use again for future needs!

Description of Work: After having dealt with numerous contractors and having tons of work done on my home, I am highly skeptical of having any work done or trusting any company to do what they say they will do. I do as much research as possible before making a decision to spend money. I had used this company in the past to service my older unit and knew that I was going to be in the market for a new, more energy efficient unit. Because of the great technician (Roy), we decided to take a chance and buy our unit from All American. I was very impressed with their knowledge, workmanship, and attention to detail. They performed the work quickly and efficiently and kept my husband informed of everything they were doing. They also put in extra insulation in our ceiling. The owner of the company (Gene) assured me that I would be very happy with the unit he suggested and advised me why we should go with one unit over another. He was exactly right. Our unit works great and the house stays toasty warm at a much lower thermostat setting. Another impressive detail was that you never knew they had been at your home except for the brand spanking new unit they installed. No mess inside or outside of my home. I would highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: Install Heat pump

Description of Work: I called this company for an emergency assessment of our child care center. The person I spoke with said they would have someone out there within 90 minutes and they would give us a free assessment. I did not ask for this but was understandably please to be offered it. A half hour later, I called back just to check in and they acted as if they had never heard of me. In my opinion, they regretted offering the free assessment and decided to "forget" the call. I will never use them again.
