They were very professional, nice and prompt. The job took about 3 hours and cleaned up after they were completed. They also enlarged the air intake and revented some vents in the back bedroom.

My AC had been freezing up over a period of 3 months. I would turn the unit off to let the ice on the unit melt, then cut it back on and it would be fine. It would last a week or two without freezing up but then eventually it would only make it a day without freezing. After I just couldn't stand the heat anymore, I finally made a phone call to All American Heating and Air. I scheduled an appointment with a nice lady on the phone who let me talk to a service technician for a moment before deciding to do the service call. We scheduled an appointment for first thing in the morning the next day. I even got a phone call the next morning from the office saying they were on their way to my house. The tech looked at the unit under the house, checked out the outside unit and then presented me with his conclusion of the repairs needed. I agreed to the repairs (which all sounded Greek to me anyway!) and my AC has been working properly ever since! The service took about an hour all together. I was very pleased at the price knowing that it definitely could have been worse! I was also able to use my 10% off Angie's List coupon that knocked $20 bucks off as well! Definitely had a good experience with this company.

Unsatisfactory service. AC was not cooling to its optimal level and needed filter changed in air cleaner. Called All American and they sent Steven out to check out why AC was not cooling. He indicated he had never serviced our type of air cleaner because it was so old but changed the filter. Indicated we needed new unit, compressor was failing, that was it, he couldn't do anything further. Unit seemed to be working when he left. That evening AC quit cooling again. Called the company back, asked to speak to someone more experience but received Steven again. He indicated although he would come out, compressor was failing and needed new unit. Declined to have him come out again. However, we had to get through the weekend without AC. On Tuesday, 7/6, called a competitor who came out, diagnosed a bad contact, said unit had not been cleaned, cleaned unit and it's been working fine ever since. Beware of this company!

The A/C stopped working on a Sunday afternoon. I called All American first thing Monday morning and asked if they could work me in the same day. They called me back a short time later after checking with their technicians and said that Rusty could be out between 3-5pm. Unfortunately, Rusty couldn't make it till after 7pm, but I was very glad that they could make it the same day. After looking at the unit outside, he asked me to see the breaker box. At this point I felt like a realy idiot since this was something that I could have checked on my own. However, it was strange that the problem was a tripped switch since the blower was going but no cool air was coming out. Rusty checked the box and sure enough, the switch was tripped. He told me that the blower and the cooling are on different switches. I didn't feel as stupid when he told me this, but I was still mad that I had to pay $100 for overlooking this fact.

Overall everything went very smoothly. Forgot to print off the angieslist coupon and contacted the company a few days after the service was completed and they sent me a check for the difference.

I called for an estimate on a Wednesday afternoon. Gene & Stephen came out within 90 minutes. They were thorough in their analysis, but did not linger. Others who gave me estimates wanted to sit and chat. I'm not big on sitting & chatting. They gave me the lowest estimate of 3 that I got, for a Rheem system I was comfortable with. I should add that Gene had information in his brain that required others to either call the office, or to go back to their office to research. That was a big positive for me. They said they could have the unit replaced on Friday. I asked them to wait until Monday so I could get one more estimate. The crew showed up as scheduled Monday morning and had the unit completely replaced and the re-worked air return completely installed by 11:30. They were clean, professional, nice and made sure I was satisfied before they left. For someone who just spent $5,600, I am extremely happy.

They were very professional. They treated our property with respect. They actually changed the original installation date, moving it one day earlier to a better weather day. This kept us from having mud tracked into our house.

The tech came out to examine a system that had been totally losing cooling capacity periodically. I described things on the system I had already checked in order to save us both time. The tech checked out system parameters I did not have equipment to check, but, since the system was working at the time, did not find anything unusual. Even after describing the circumstances under which the system was failing, the tech did not do more than the basic check of system pressure, temperature differential from inlet to outlet, and flow. A competitor's tech dug a bit deeper into the system and correctly diagnosed a failing compressor.

Originally we had them out early in the week because our system had gone down. The tech said that everything look good but it was our thermostat. Well we had a new one we had been meaning to install so we did not buy one and sent the tech on. We installed new thermostat but realized the wiring was not correct for the thermostat we had, so we went ahead and called them in. This time the diagnosis was burn out on all the controls under neath. This was the same tech...I don't know if he just didn't see it earlier or what. He arranged for a new system to be put in. They did a great job. I think if I hadn't the earlier determination that it was a thermostat, I would have put in a "Page of Happiness". Because of that I wondered if we were just being sold a system. HOWEVER, once the system was installed our upstairs is now cool. That has never happened. I had been holding my breath whenever our old system sounded funny. It was 14 yrs old and I was hoping to make it to 20. So it all worked out for the best and that's why I gave them an overall A...they called ahead when someone was coming, they were here on time, everyone was extremely nice. I can tell that they are really concerned about customer service because they gave me a little gift bag at the end--they invited me to a cookout at their site, they are a family run organization as well. The low score I gave was on the price, just because it HURT. But then again, I haven't shopped for air systems.

Everyone I talked with by phone and in person were very nice. I think that the tech needed more experience in order to give me better information and advice. He factored in charges for doing electrical work that was not necessary. With a little more experience, he would have known that.

From my first phone call to completion of all work this was a great experience. They got necessary information on the phone, scheduled the appointment at my convenience & arrived promptly. The technician was professional and a good communicator-he showed me how to change the filter on my furnace, made an ingenious and no-cost suggestion to keep leaves out of the air conditioning unit, completed the work quickly and for less than I anticipated. I highly recommend this company.

The tec. called before arriving on time. He spent over an hour inspecting the two units outside and one in the attic. Gave an estimate for the upstairs unit due to its age. Both systems are working much better after the maint. He gave may wife a telephone number for me to call with any question on the service or the bid.

I think it went very well because they came quickly and they got the work done very quickly. They knew what they were doing and they were able to do the job efficiently.

They seem very adequate and they are half the price of other companies.

We were thinking we would have to replace the air conditioner so it was nice that they were able to just repair it. They explained everything to me before they did the work and told me what the price was going to be. He made sure that this was okay with me before they started the work. They were very good. I would definitely recommend them and plan on using them again when needed.
