Very well, so far the area replace and repair have not leak...had some heavy rain in the past several weeks...very pleased with the work...

Well. No problems

The owner made a thorough inspection and explained in detail the repairs needed. He gave the the project the immediate attention it required and completed the work in a timely fashion. There was a misunderstanding about the number of squares of shingles to be used which should have been included in the proposal.

I invest in and rent out homes so this was the second house I had called jerry anderson in for a repair. Like the first house, he called me back when I left a message almost immediately, came out within a day and gave me an estimate. Like the first house, a good price so I had him do this repair also. The problems began when I wanted him to come back and honor his warranty. If I had known that he would show a decidedly lack of interest in any warranty work, I would not have hired him for the second job. I have had enough homes repaired to understand how hard it is to plug every roof leak the first time and it does not necessarily reflect on the company, but how they handle it does. There was a leak in this house after a rain the following weekend, so I called Jerry and left a message. He said he would go over there without anyone meeting him there and plug the leaks, but I felt it would be better if I met him there so he could see the leaks from the inside of the attic. I left a message with him stating that and he never called me back. When I called him again, he said that he went over there and plugged everything, but I worried that he could not have seen where all the leaks were from just the outside. The house had had a tarp nailed down over the area of the roof that needed repair, and there were a lot of nail holes that needed to be plugged and he was supposed to do that along with the rest of the roof repair. The only way to really see them was to look up through the attic to see where the light shined through. As this was a rental house and not my house, it was a 40 minutes drive just for me to meet him there. He said he would meet me the next day, but never showed. After leaving messages, his son finally called me and said that Jerry had been called out of town for a job and that he, the son, would meet me. We made another appointment. After waiting 30 minutes past our appointment time, I called his son who said that he was caught up with another job and would meet me there in another 15 minutes. AFTER an hour, he showed up. He went up in the attic and looked at the areas that needed plugging. He told me that he did not have a ladder to get on the roof and that he could not do it that day!!!! I could not believe it. We made another apointment for 9:30 the next morning so again, I had to come out there just to make sure he did the repair. He did show up at 9:30 the next morning and make the repair. I did not stay there after they started working, but my husband checked the job later and there are still areas in the attic that have not been plugged!!! I have called Jerry, but he no longer returns my calls.

I felt his price was a little too high

The job went pretty much as was described to me. Overall I was happy with the job. The only caveat was that when they finished, the cleanup left alot of missed nails in the yard. The price was very good and I was satisfied with the excellent quality of the roof.

Very professional first visit.

An estimate was given on the same day that I called for services and the repairs were made the next morning. I made calls to two other companies and only received return calls over 24 hours later. Jerry was extremely prompt. He inspected the attic and interior of the home before going on the roof. And he took pictures so that I could see firsthand the issue and what/how it needed to be fixed. He also took pictures after the work was performed to show me the difference. I would definitely recommend this company for roof repairs and use their services again.

I chose Anderson after getting proposals from five roofers. I was impressed that Jerry Anderson called me right back and I didn't have to wait to have him come and do the estimate. He offered the details of how he would do the job without being asked a lot of questions. With other roofers, I often had to ask details and then they would agree to do them. There was a one day rain delay which I would certainly expect from any roofer, but they turned up early in the morning just as he said they would and were completely finished and cleaned up by about 4;30 in the afternoon. I noticed that although Jerry himself was not on site the whole time, he left his son as supervisor the whole time. He was very responsive to all the questions I had. As the work progressed, they were constantly cleaning up the worksite so that when the roof crew were finished, the cleanup was already done. He had them put a coat of rust preventative paint on my galvanized chimney cap and painted the vent pipes black to match the roof. I can see why Jerry gets good ratings on Angies list. The price was right in line with other roofers who made proposals.

The gentleman from Anderson and Roofing came to my house to talk with my husband and I about a misunderstanding that I had with him when he came to my home to give me an estimate. He explained to us that he was a people person and that he was sorry that I felt uncomfortable being in the house alone. I never intended for my coments to be made public, I thought I was just letting Angie know. It was never my intention to hurt his family, or his business. Everything has been worked out.

Our experience with them was very good. He really kept in communication with us and stayed in touch throughout the whole process; through the bidding and through the work. They were very professional. They actually came in very well on price; they weren’t the lowest.

It went great. they were punctual and very perrsonable, and did a professional job.

To be very honest, he had a very good series of ratings and their were customers who had terrible ratings, may be wanted to pick him. He is really someone who does not deserve a bad rating and he has been around with Angie's list and customer of course paid him, but the customer is the bad apple it was very clear in the write-ups for that customers negative comments.The contractor, was the one who was doing the right job and the customer thought. He was very professional and he did everything that he is said he was going to do. He was cordial with the representative, whom I had in place for him to work with. He was timely and very detail oriented. He was very meticulous, and said that he will inspect all such jobs personally.

I liked that they had a good price. Then when we had a problem, we called them back, and they came and fixed it. I appreciated not having any problems getting it corrected. They gave me a good price, but you have to watch their workers to make sure they do what Mr. Anderson has got them to do because the problem I had was due to workers not following through what they should have done. They were very punctual in coming and getting the job done originally. I had a little trouble getting a hold of them when I had a problem, but once he came out and looked at it, he addressed the problem immediately. They were professional about it, and I would use them again, but I would be watching things much more closely.

Anderson Roofing & Windows Systems did a good job. The one thing that they did is that I had a problem with my chimney cap up at the top and they wouldn't replace it, but they did patch it. The patch lasted about a year and has now started leaking. I can tell it was leaking, so I called them and they sent someone right out to patch it again. He did say that they don't replace those things and that I might want to get someone out to replace it. They were right on the ball with it, even though I probably should have had it replaced it when they patched it. They did do what they said they would do. They were better priced than others. I would use them again.

The job went well. Jerry provided shingle samples, had the shingles delivered the day before the job, had a crew of 3 on the roof and several on the ground. His crew cleaned up well.

Everything went great as expected. We made an appointment for the estimate, he showed up on time and provided us with an estimate on the spot. We scheduled the work, and he was there on time and finished in a timely manner.

They did a good job. The owner was a very nice guy. We met him and we liked him a lot. He is a nice guy. They have done good work for us. We would recommend them. We would like for him to be more involved the second time. I think he came once but he has his guys and he left. We would have appreciated if he stayed a little bit longer just to sure that everything was fine but his guys did a good job. He was here right away.

Jerry was very prompt returning calls and getting his team on site quickly. I had called what I assumed was after hours and he called back almost immediately. After an evaluation of the damage the following day, the work was completed the following morning.

Jerry came out on Monday and new roof and sky light were installed on Friday, great job!

Mr. Anderson was very polite and thorough and I would absolutely use him again. The work was professional, and finished quickly with no mess left behind.

Jerry came out , gave an estimate which i thought was OK . here is where the shady part starts i always herd never pay the contractor up front. i was asked if i would be home on Wednesday i said yes they were going to drop off supplies at the house OK . they arrived from a company called best distribution . the guy wanted me to pay them , so had to shell out 3300 for the roofing supplies Jerry shows up later . so if you look at this site it has acceptable payment options ,credit cards and checks. so the roof gets finished on Friday around 12:30 i told Jerry on Wednesday that i had a business trip would not be back until Sunday had to go to Washington so i get back ,i got 3 calls from the neighbors about the big truck full of trash that's been sitting outside my house all weekend. Live in a upscale neighbor hood on the island. My son had to park his car in the yard all weekend because the truck was blocking the drive way you cant park on the street. So Jerry calls me on Monday morning wanting to get paid i ask him if they left an invoice so i can pay him .its on the estimate he says so i do the math from what i had to pay the first guys for the supplies it comes out to around 5144 plus so i wanted to put it on my card so i could get the miles he says we don't take credit cards i said if you look at your web site on Angie list it says you do ,that is one of the main reasons i called you . Jerry says i have not been on my site in over a year , so back in forth we went .he said i have no way of accepting a credit card everybody just pays with a check or cash . so than i said i will leave it on the trucks wind shield . he didn't even now they left the truck over the weekend , i think everybody on this site uses the web and this list to seek out quality , honest , people doing business and expect the information to be correct . what if i did not have the 5000 to write a check for his response was take a hundred off the price. and if you look at this site it has a 250 dollar off coupon i did not receive either under roofing contractors. Keep your web site up to date if you are a contractor benefiting from our group. Hate to put some one else in that situation

We called Anderson because a neightbor had gotten an estimate from him. He replied to our call within the hour and came the following day to give us an estimate. We accepted his estimate and his crew did the work the following day. There was only one small glitch -- on of the pipe collars was missed, but that was fixed the following day. We were very satisfied with his work.

Great job. The original meeting started on time. Then estimate was fair - even better than fair. The crew and materials arrived on time. They were very thorough even replacing some things that were discovered after the shingles were off. Clean up was complete. These guys are true professionals.

The new roof looks beautiful and is a vast improvement. Jerry Anderson was very professional and courteous throughout, explained everything in detail and answered all my questions. In addition to the roof, quite a bit of fascia was replaced or repaired, and overhang trimmed off, per Jerry's recommendation. The crew actually got started a day earlier than I had been told, but that was no problem. Even though the wood under the roof needed more rebuilding than he or I had suspected, the price did not change from the estimate. The crew were hardworking and polite as well. They also did quite a bit of trimming back of tree limbs that were too near the house. They even painted the exhaust pipe for the toilet a color that harmonized with the roof rather than leaving it bare metal. Cleanup was complete. Not only is the house cooler with a new, improved roof, but quieter as well. It is a high quality roof, and the whole experience far less stressful than I anticipated. They receive my highest recommendation.
