Response was immediate, and met face to face with Jerry Anderson, the owner. I had a slow-leak along ridge vent. Jerry went on the roof, took photos, and explained what was going on. That was on Friday, 10-26. The very next day they were back, ready to work. The work was very satisfactorily completed on Saturday, 10-27. Their work came with a 3-year, no-leak guarantee. No money changed hands until the job was finished. Simply amazing response!! My wife and I were very pleased, and would highly recommend Jerry, his son Cody...and the rest of the Anderson Pros.

The work on both occassions was quick to start and they worked through until they finished. The crew was professional and did not waste any time. The end results were great and we would use them again if the need arises.

It went great! Jerry diagnosed the problem right away. When the roof was reshingled 10 years ago, there was a portion of the roof where the roofers used too much pressure with the nail gun. This portion started to leak. Jerry recommended we just replace this one portion and his roofers could blend it all together. They came and did the work and now it's fixed! In fact, they showed me the rusty nails they pulled from this portion of the roof. The original company I used is no longer in business. I am so glad that Jerry could repair this without me having to replace the whole roof!

Mr. Anderson returned my call and came promptly as promised. He clearly explained what the problem was, showed pictures of the problem areas, and explained what should be done. The work was completed the next day. They were very professional and courteous and I would recommend this company to others.

Cody came out and did good work. There have been no leaks at nine months.

Mr. Anderson was a professional and incredibly prompt and courteous. Came out quickly and gave a clear written estimate. He even called and spoke with the home warranty representative on our behalf so they could approve our work for reimbursement! When the crew arrived, they were quick, professional and respectful. They kindly agreed to do a very small "favor" for me that required being high on a ladder--something they have no problem with but yours truly has no business doing! I highly recommend this outfit for roofing service.

They were very professional and came on time to inspect the roof and complete the job. This was the second time I have used Anderson Roofing & Windows Systems. They do not accept payment until the job is completed and you are satisfied. I will use them again.

In June 2014 the roof over the porch was leaking. Jerry Anderson came out and looked at it. He said the roof was in good condition, there were just some small areas that had openings which needed to be sealed. In July 2014 his crew applied a Leak Barrier. He said the job had a 5 year Leak Warranty. We hired him because of the 5 year warranty. In April we had a heavy rain and the roof over the porch leaked in 2 places. We called Anderson Roofing and got his voicemail. We left a message asking him to call us back. That was on April 7th. We also sent him an email. On April 12th we left another voicemail message. Today is May 4th and he has not called us back. A 5 Year Warranty is no good if he won't even call you back.

On both occasions, I was able to make quick contact and get a quote within 24 hours from Jerry. In both cases, the work was completed within another 24 hours. The work was supposed to be covered with a warranty. It has been a couple months since the last job was completed. I'm still having trouble with one of the roof leaks. I've left multiple voicemails and text messages and received no response.

I hired Anderson Roofing to repair 2 leaks on my roof - a leaking skylight and the roof leaking onto my back porch. Jerry came that week to provide an estimate of $1500 to fix the 2 leaks and do some minor repairs he recommended such as nail pops. His son Cody came very responsively and said he completed the job and I paid in full. Their demeanors and professionalism seemed excellent. But then during the next rain, both roof leaks were still leaking and so I contacted Jerry. Cody came back out to repair the leaks. This continued for a few visits during 2015 and at one point the skylight was temporarily fixed by Cody. The porch ceiling continued to leak. I kept asking if someone else should come to figure it out but received no response. Halfway through continuing contact with Jerry, he would not respond. I then wrote him through Angie's List and said I had no alternative but to provide a review of the facts that he did not fix the leaking porch roof which I had paid for even though he guaranteed his work. After that contact, Cody contacted me and came back. Each time Cody came, he was on the roof for short periods of time. Never was the roof leak above the porch fixed. Towards the end of 2015, I sent a final email through Angie's list asking them to repair what I had paid them for and received no response. I also called Cody but he did not return my call. I told them I would have to hire another roofer and then would have to provide the facts of what they did on Angie's List if they didn't fix what I had hired them to fix. I gave them a month to do what I had hired them to do, but received no response at all. I was so nice and patient with them, but they just stopped responding. I hired another roofer in 2016 at which point the skylight started to leak again, and the porch ceiling was still leaking. They told and showed me that there was 'a lot' of caulk on these areas. The new roofers removed the flashing and cricket around the chimney which is the area above the leak onto the porch and it was sopping wet - totally rotted. It turned out that the metal roof and flashing around the skylights above the sunroom and back porch was leaking and the wood beneath the metal was all wet. The new roofers now have to replace that part of the roof. They showed me pictures of all the rot from the leaking. So I wasted $1500 paying Anderson roofing as their cosmetic caulking did not solve the problem. Nor did they ever diagnose the problem. They were trying to patch the leaks and then the rot would have only grown to a much worse problem. Luckily the caulking that Anderson Roofing did not fix the leaks, else I would have had a bigger issue in the long run because I would not have known about all the rot due to the leaking. I am grateful now that I have a knowledgeable roofer who has diagnosed and showed me in pictures all the rot from the leaking. My knowledgeable roofer was here with 4 others for an entire day plus a couple of hours on 2 other days and charged me less than $1150 to repair all the rot around the chimney and built new flashing and a cricket around the chimney, but since the porch ceiling leaked after that they lifted the metal roof around the chimney and saw the bigger issue. My new roofers are refunding me the majority of the money I paid them and will redo that entire area of roofing. Cody was never here as many hours as my new roofer was here. Cody and one other roofer came each time he came, but the new roofers had 5 people here for many more hours than Cody and his one roofer was here total. Therefore the $1500 I paid Anderson for patching trying to stop the leaks was not only lost due to them never fixing the problem, but they never diagnosed the problem in the first place. Additionally the amount of money I paid Anderson for their ineffective work far exceeded the amount of money I paid my new roofers considering the number of hours and people that my new roofers have spent here to figure the problem out. Now it will cost me a lot more, but at least all the damage from the leaking will be removed and that area of my roof will be replaced.

They performed the repair and did proper clean up. However, later in the year I had another leak in the same spot. As part of the work guarantee, I called them back about the leak, emailed them, and called several more times. No response was ever given. I ended up putting a new roof on from another contractor

Mr. Jerry Anderson was very prompt in returning my initial call and stopped by the house within a few hours to assess the work that needed to be done and give me an estimate. He sent me a written estimate before the end of the day. He was able to start and finish the job within a few days of my initial call. He was pleasant to work with and does honest work. I highly recommend using him and will use him if I need a roofer in the future.

After the heavy rains we noticed we had a very leaking roof. Most roofers either put off giving a quote or stated they could not do the work for 3 to 6 months AND estimated almost twice going rate. Mr Anderson was able to respond quickly and gave the lowest estimate as well as including waste disposal and cleanup. (Some of the roofers wanted us to handle the debris). We were VERY happy with his work and the end product is very attractive. He was knowledgeable and polite. He walked us thru every step and offered very sound advice. Still have the leak. Have called approximately 6-7 times to try and get Anderson to come back out to fix the issue. Had to threaten legal action to get a call back. The guy from Anderson called right back and said they would have at 11 am the next day. This was about two weeks ago. No call no show. At the least could have the decency to call me to tell me he was not going to show up for scheduled appointment. If this is the run around i am getting I would never use them again. Paid $750.00 and still have a leak.

Buyer beware! Paid contractor to fix a leak in my roof which had caused some water damage in my bathroom a few months ago. Contractor took my check and has not returned any of my calls or emails. Well now with the major rain storm that has hit Charleston, I have a leak in my roof in the exact same spot I had asked the contractor to fix previously. So he either never fixed my roof and just took my money, or he did such poor work that the leak has opened up again. He offers a "lifetime warranty", which is useless if he won't return your messages. We're moving on to another contractor and taking this is a loss and a lesson learned. Please don't make the same mistake we did.

The initial installation went just fine. I called Jerry back about some leaks and he came right back. But now after some heavy rain in Charleston, my back porch is leaking in several spots. I have left Mr. Anderson at least 3 messages over the last 2 weeks, and tried at least 5 other times to reach him. He has not returned my calls and now you cannot reach him at all, his mailbox stays full day after day. So much for the service he had promised me, this is very disappointing. It turns out he is just like all the rest, no service after the sale. So much for my warranty.

He was extremely responsive, called back almost immediately and was on site to review issues the next day. As luck would have it, his team was also free that afternoon to complete the work. Amazing service!!!!!

My roof had started to leak, so I called Jerry Anderson. He promptly returned my call, visited my house to provide an estimate, and then performed the service within a week. The leak in my roof stopped and the invoice even said I have a 5 year leak warranty. So far, so good. Half a year later, the same leak returned. One would assume that if the leak warranty covers anything, it surely covers the same leak that he'd already worked on. I've called Jerry numerous times over the last month, but he hasn't returned one of my calls, hasn't come out to look at the roof, and hasn't fixed the leak. Although he appears good at first, his warranty is apparently useless.

I called Jerry Anderson, the owner of this company, yesterday morning and told him about my roof leaking with the tropical storm and torrential rains over the weekend. He came out in a few hours (same day!), did an inspection, and took photos with his smart phone to show me the problems. He carefully explained exactly what needed to be done and gave me a quote with a 3 year written "no leak" guarantee. The very next day (today!) Jerry came back with his roofers while I was at work and fixed my roof. He had to replace a good many shingles, seal several places around the various vents and where the garage connects to the house, and cut some tree limbs back so they would not touch the roof. He also had to actually re-nail and seal the vent that runs down the length of the peak of the roof. You could see all the nails! The wind is obviously NOT my roof's friend. He even called when all was finished and accepted my credit card number over the phone. Done! ...and it looks like rain again, so I am very glad he was able to do the work so fast! I expect no more leaks! UPDATE: Jerry Anderson is as good as his word. I contacted him the afternoon of 10/6/2015 to let him know that my roof leaked around my hot water heater vent and I heard dripping in one other spot during the flood over the weekend. He arrived at my house just before dark...SAME DAY...and made the repair. No charge! BEST ROOFER EVER! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! UPDATE: Roof is leaking again. I have a three year written "NO LEAK" guarantee from this company. No reply when I contact them this time. Contacted multiple times since March 27, 2016. This leak is the "dripping in one other spot" (see above) that I heard during the great flood a few months ago. It was supposed to have been fixed, but is now dripping with just a light rain. UPDATE: Jerry Anderson sent two of his sons over yesterday, April 4, 2016 between Noon and 1:00 PM, to fix my roof. He and his company are back in my good graces! Let's hope it's fixed for good this time. His sons said he has been out of town, so I guess he just got all my messages.

It's been about a year and so far so good. Price was fair, they showed up when they said and worked steady until finished. To date no leaks in roof or skylight.

they replaced flashing around the fireplace,geoceal all flashing.the next time it rained it still leaked.so i called after the third call about a week latter they called back and came back out and refixed it.abou a month latter it rained and it leaked again. i called 4times over the next week the only way they would reply was if i said i would report them to angies list,he called back in 5 minnutes.he went on to tell me it wasnt the flashing that was leaking it was the fireplae it self.i said i didnt think so so he came back out and sprayed a hose on the fireplace and the flashing and indeed it was the flashing that was leaking. so they repaired it again.no leaks or 3or4 months had a big rain storm about 2 weeks ago and it started leaking again. i called 4 time over the next 10 days no reply on the 4th call again i said i was going to angies list 5 minutes latter he called.told me it wasnt the flashing that leaked and i asked why he didnt call me back i 4 calls and he said 3 calls i told him what happened the last time and he said that was just here say his words.then he sai rudely i might add he be there at my house at 1:30 to show me that he wasnt at fault.twice he said he be there at 1:30 i said id be here. i waited for him untill 4:30 no anderson no call . so i called angies list. he has good reviews for roofingbut on chimney repair there is a review that looks all most the same as mine thanking you in advance for your help robert callander

Jerry the owner as well as his team were very punctual and friendly. We were delighted with the whole experience. The work was excellent and affordable. We are thrilled to recommend them.

I had an unusual situation with my flat porch roof ( it was a rubber roof called a 'torch-down') that had some age on it and was starting to leak. I checked out all the reviews for the roofers and was paying special interest in how they dealt with the times when they were called back, because of a problem. I was particularly impressed with how this company dealt with their 'call backs' and made sure everything was taken care of. I called Jerry Anderson and he came out and looked at the roof and gave me a detailed, written estimate on the spot. My porch roof did not need to be replaced, but have the seams sealed and a new waterproof coating over it. I also had an issue with where the porch meets the house with some rotten wood. We decided we needed to address that also while we were up there. Jerry also pointed out some other small issues with the roof on the house that they would take care of. I was impressed with this since I had only asked for work on the porch. The day of the job, the crew came on time and began to work. Jerry's son came to the door and introduced himself and let me know they were there. They worked all day and cleaned up the mess as they went. At the end of the day, he came to the door again to show me pictures on his phone where he took pictures of the progress on the roof. I thought that was a nice touch. I did express my concern that the roof would not leak and was reassured that if it did, please call, they would come out. It rained for a few days and no leaks! I was very pleased with the job and how professionally they worked. This is a family business and they really came across like they take pride in their work, something you don't see a lot of these days. I will be calling them again!

The only reason I did not use him is that I had some structural things going on as well and had to find a handyman that could fix that first! We plan on using him again in the future. My friend referred us and she had 3 roofs done by him and they all look great.
