It went fine... but once he was here, the technician told me I didn't need my vent cleaned and he suggested I request a refund.

Matthew Burrow was the technician that serviced our dryer. He called about 30 minutes before arriving to let us know a more specific time of arrival. He arrived within 5 minutes of the time he told us. He was very thorough in his inspection to make sure all issues were addressed. He then provided a detailed estimate and explained the proposed work. He was able to perform basically a full vent system replacement in a few hours. We expected the need for the full replacement, but he performed the work quickly. He also made sure to clean up and even cleaned ares that we did not expect. We were very please and highly recommend Dryer Vent Wizard to anyone needing this type of service.

Experience went amazing Matt Burrow my technician made the experience as easy as possible. He explained the issues to and the possible dangers if the job wasn't completed in detail. A set me up a whole new dryer vent system. Matt was professional and courtesy even though the job was not cheap. I would call him up again with any dryer vent problems.

Upon inspection, I learned that my dryer vent was not able to be cleaned. The service agent was very professional in providing his opinion.

Provider was very professional from start to finish. It was easy to set up an appointment. Technician called with approximate arrival time, arrived on time, estimated the amount of time necessary to do work, and finished the project that same day. Clean up was thorough. We were very pleased with this company.

After testing the flow rate of the dryer a check of the venting hardware was judged to be in need of some updating. Old inferior and restrictive ducting and possible hazardous materials need to be replaced to improve the flow and fireproof the system. An appointment for next week will complete the process. Matthew was very personable and a great service technician. He explained everything very thoroughly. Came and gave us our initial quote and came back for the service 2 days later per request. We would recommend him to everyone!

He was very nice, he had his machinery that showed the efficiency on the venting system. He answered my questions about the dryer and informed me I shouldn't worry about anything because everything is working perfectly fine and that I didn’t need the deal.

Matthew Burrows was an extremely honest and conscientious worker (He even put protective coverings on his shoes in order to not track anything into my house since it was wet outside). He showed me exactly what was wrong with the current vent system installed by the company from whom I purchased the dryer. These was an enormous amount of lint build up inside my machine which was a fire waiting to happen. I appreciated the thoroughness, carefulness, and time which Matthew took to help me understand and create a safer environment for my family

Matthew arrived on time and is very professional. His truck has everything he would need for any dryer vent job. He was very professional and explained everything in detail. He performed his services very efficiently and left the laundry room cleaner than he found it. I will definitely use again

My only complaint is I made the appointment during a very busy time for the repairman, so about two weeks passed before he could come out. His work is very thorough, he carries everything needed for vent replacement on his truck, and I will definitely continue to use Dryer Vent Wizard of Upstate SC for yearly cleanings.

Matthew showed up as scheduled, checked out the dryer and vent and made recommendations. He was very professional and explained things very well. He worked steadily, cleaned up the mess he made, and was a pleasure to deal with. Asked a few questions about my situation and chose NOT to recommend a service agreement, which I very much appreciated.

Matt came the day after I made the initial call. He called ahead to let me know he was on his way (which I appreciated so I made sure I was home) and arrived at the designated time. Although I originally scheduled for a dryer vent cleaning Matt found a few other issues that I agreed should be addressed including shortening the vent pipe outside; installing a vent cover to prevent pests and debris from getting into the vent; cleaning the back of the dryer; as well as replacing the vent hose in the dryer. Matt was very pleasant and professional. He worked quickly but took time to explain everything he was doing which is important to me. I would use Dryer Vent Wizard again. In fact I purchased a warranty that provides annual cleaning. I will recommend Matt and Dryer Vent Wizard to neighbors.

Did an outstanding job. Had to replace vent due to tears. They we able to do it that same day. We used an Angie's coupon and they applied it to the cost, no problem.

I originally thought my dryer was going bust but it turned out that the chicken wire on my outside vent was clogged. He came over and got on the roof and took off the wire. He then cleaned my lint out of the dryer.

Matthew evaluated our dryer vent situation and designed a game plan to clean now, revamp when we renovate the area in less than a year. He was extremely professional and personable! Did everything same day!!!

My husband wanted to have the dryer vent cleaned because last year one of the condo units' dryer caught on fire due to excessive lint. I called Dryer vent Wizard due to the reviews on Angie's list. Matthew Burrow was the representative that serviced our dryer/vent. He did a great job! He was on time, in fact early. He went straight to work. We had discussed what was going to be done earlier during the evaluation. He pulled out 5 gallons of dryer vent lint from the roof. He also serviced the dryer and hose on the inside of my condo. He had to remove the bi-fold door to access the dryer but everything was cleaned up afterward and put back in place. (He also wore shoe coverings whenever he came into the house.) He cleaned the lint tray and then he replaced the flexible transition hose behind the dryer which lead from the dryer to the wall with a rigid hose with a larger nonflexible opening( The rigid hose does NOT collapse negating the chance of making a small opening even smaller. Also, the rigid hose does not allow lint to collect on the inside of the hose). I was very pleased and would not go to anyone else to have my dryer serviced..I didn't know this at the time I made the appointment but they also can replace old washing machine hoses. To test the difference when drying items before this service and afterwards, I washed a very heavy large bath rug with 2 smaller rugs prior to Matthew's arrival. These rugs usually take 1 hour to dry; half the time on high heat and half the time on medium heat. All 3 rugs were dry in 35 minutes on Medium Heat!! So this has cut my dry time almost in half! Great Service all the way around!

Excellent! He was timely, professional, and kind. He explained exactly why my towels were taking 2-3 times a load to dry. Our towels were taking 1-1.5 hour to dry and now only take 30 minutes. The service he provided was very needed and will save us money on our electric bill and we don't have to worry about a fire in our dryer or home. We didn't feel like he was pushy but also he did a good job explaining what we needed. He was the best service professional we have every hired and will definitely recommend him to all our friends and neighbors.

Integrity- Although we did not use Dryer Vent Wizard to service the dryer vent, Matthew did make it a point to reach out and find out why the review was so low. Instead of responding with hostility, the response was that of concern as to what went wrong and how could it be fixed. This shows integrity...something that is lost in today's world. After I purchased the big deal, the company rep. [ Matthew] tried to contact me.. both by phone & e-mail quite quickly... . Unknown to him; I had become ill & was unavailable for a period of time, he persisted though & we were able to set up a time for service. Matthew was punctual & is a very professional young man with an engaging personality. He answers all questions regardless of how trivial they may be, shows you all the positives of your system & any potential problems ... explains how they can be resolved & why they should be resolved, but does not make you feel pressured to do anything. His ability to share information; without being an agressive/obnoxious salesman, is refreshing to say the least .. . As far as I can see, all work was done well, in a timely manner, and all with a friendly helpful attitude...he even took a few minutes to give a scratch to my adoring rescue dogs... not just anyone would do this. I'd hire him again in a blink of an eye.
