Description of Work: Keystone laid new mulch down throughout the property. They did a great job. They are now my regular lawn care professional and they do a good job. They are very reliable and are there when they commit to a date and time.

Description of Work: I contacted Keystone Landscaping, and talked to Joan Johnstone. She and John came out to gave me an estimate for a yard clean-up, which I needed done promptly, and landscaping work, which I was more flexible about as to when. I liked them, they seemed nice and professional, and were emphatic that they could do the work promptly. Their written estimate arrived (via email) several days later than Joan had said it would, but it was acceptable, and it gave a date of about a week later for doing the work. Then, the NEXT day, Joan left me a message saying that they wouldn't be able to do the work in the time frame that I needed (even though a date was stated on the estimate). I had told them from my first call that I needed some work done soon, and if they had not said that was do-able, I would have called someone else! They backed out on doing any work for me at all, with little explanation. Because of this problem, I can't give them a good grade, and cannot recommend their business.

Description of Work: They have given us an estimate on a landscape design. Their price seems good. The estimate seems fair. We probably will not be doing mulch to save some expense, but we will be giving them a call back. They had the estimate to us the following morning after they came out.

Description of Work: this is an ecellent company, very delightful and professional people, they arrived within hours of me calling for an estimate, even though they did not do my work only because of other non related circumstances.

Description of Work: Keystone Landscaping did a quarterly yard cleanup for us. We have lots of shrub, trees and plants around the house. They did a great job, just what we were looking for and also gave advise on how and when we should trim some of the particular trees. They cleaned up nicely and took all the trash and cutttings with them. I would highly recommend Keystone Landscaping.

Description of Work: Since this company had some very high reviews, I decided to try them. On Wednesday, March 14th, they came out to do an estimate. I will admit that my interactions with them was not optimal since I was distracted by some other service being done at our home. As a full time worker, it was necessary for me to schedule multiple services at our home during the same afternoon. They looked at both of the front and back yards and we discussed some options. They had some good ideas that I thought would really improve our yards. They informed me that they would get back to me in a couple of days with a proposal and estimate. I didn't hear from them again until Monday, March 26th. When they called they informed me that they decided not to take on the job because I was not engaged enough with them, didn't give them any ideas, and didn't know what I wanted. Needless to say I was very disappointed. In today's economy I was very surprised to see somebody pass on a project. Even though they didn't know exactly what I wanted, one would think they would prepare some ideas and options for us to consider. Their lack of initiative and desire to make the sell make me glad they withdrew from the project.

Description of Work: They did an excellent job. We moved into a shortsale home that was in shambles. The team cleaned all the garden beds and clumped up leaves, trimmed all the bushes, and packaged all the debris for pickup.

Description of Work: T job consisted of general yard work to clean up a long neglected 1200 sq ft yard. From the first minuet of speaking with Joan when I called to ask if they wold like to do the job, I was impressed by her cheery, enthusiastic manner. When they arrived to assess the job requirements and provide a cost estimate, I met John and was impressed with the professional manner in which he and Joan approached the estimate process; they asked my wife and me many questions to determine exactly what we expected them to do in detail. Knowing exactly what was expected of them, they presented their estimate. When my wife and I were hesitant in accepting the offer, they asked what had we considered in our budget. When we replied about $500 less than their figure, Joan suggested we spit the difference to which we agreed. They arrived at 08'30 on the scheduled start date and introduced Rodney to me, who was going to assist them. It was a gorgeous day to work and the three of them immediately pitched into the job with enthusiasm. Joan was a whirlwind of activity who didn't stop a minuet all day long. A neighbor, who takes frequent walks during the day for health reasons, told me that each time he passed the house, he was impressed by the industry displayed by the workers and the improvement in the yard's appearance. At 4:30 pm, Joan rang the doorbell and asked if my wife and I would inspect the job to see if the work was satisfactory. We noted a couple of things that we'd like them to do that we had not previously indicated we wanted done and they immediately accomplished them. I have asked that hey provide me two independent landscape plans with cost estimates for both the front and back yards to which they have agreed,

Description of Work: They were very nice, and extremely helpful. We are new to the area and our lawn needed a lot of work. They helped us understand our irrigation system, something not even part of their responsibility! I love them. We have hired them on to be our permanent lawn care techs. They are mindful of our dogs when they take care of the back yard. I trust them.
