I called Kessler based on reviews on the List and got an appointment for the next day, to address a shower diverter problem. When the shower knob was turned, water continued to pour from the tub spout, as well as coming out the shower head. On the phone, the Kessler Plumbing person I spoke with pitched a $450 conversion from a 3-knob set to a single knob and suggested I look at the website to see what it would look like. I asked for a simple service call as it might be a simple problem, and I was not prepared to spend that much. I was told the hourly rate would be $90. The next day, John was an hour early, which was inconvenient. He did call ahead to tell me was on the way, which was nice. He was polite and professional. After checking out the shower diverter assembly, removing the diverter stem, and examining the valve inside the wall, he said that without the original diverter stem, which my husband had replaced some time ago, the shower could not be repaired. He said the diverter that my husband had purchased and installed as the replacement was the wrong one, and without seeing the original one he could not know what to install to do the job correctly. He even called his boss to confirm that there was not another solution. We did not have the old diverter stem, so he left without fixing the problem (after saying the only thing they could do was replace the whole faucet assembly with a single-knob Moen for $445). Right after he left, I found an old diverter stem in my garage and called John. He came back and took a second look, removing the diverter stem again and putting in the old one I had found. He said the old diverter appeared to be exactly like the one my husband had installed, but it did not work correctly either. I paid $90 for the service call, exactly as quoted. I went online after John left and in less than 10 minutes I found a DIY forum and learned that the problem might be simply a missing O-ring. My husband applied the O-ring to the diverter as described in the online forum and- voila- problem fixed. I ended up thinking Kessler has too much focus on selling the Moen single knob shower faucet at nearly $450 a pop, and not enough on the basics of O-rings and gaskets.

John came out earlier than originally planned, which was a plus. He spent the majority of the day installing the necessary plumbing and installing the laundry tub. He was very friendly and professional. He made sure that there were no leaks under the laundry tub and in the crawl space. One of the plumbing parts supplied with the laundry tub turned out to be defective, so he replaced it with his own. He cleaned up the area where he was working and even hauled away the box that the laundry tub came out of. There was a little misunderstanding about the price in the end. The price quoted me was apparently made with the assumption that the laundry tub was an ordinary one on legs rather than the cabinet style that I had provided. I was unaware that the one I purchased would cost more to install. I spoke with Greg (the owner) on the phone, and he worked out an agreement on the price that I'm happy with. I would recommend their work and I would use them again.

Cracks and gaps began to open up a few days after they had completed the work so I gave them a call, they came back out with 2 people and re-caulked the shower entirely again. I let this sit for about a week and noticed more gaps, I called, and they let me know this is normal and it was settling. They completed a job for a third time and said they would be willing to do come back out to figure something else out if this didn't work. The caulk is now perfect and the shower is now mold free.

We've had a problem with hot water and water pressure in a couple of rooms and asked if they could check it out for us. John came and installed a regulator that allowed our kitchen faucet to get hot water faster and fixed us up right away. He also made some recommendations regarding our plumbing and changed out some outside faucets that badly needed it. We are very pleased with Kessler Plumbing and definitely would use them again!

Kessler's was great...We had a blaockage that was cleared, but it stayed clear for only a few days. They came back and permanently removed the blockage and did not charge at all for the second service call!

We had a bad leak from what we tht was the water heater. On Saturday the 12th I called Kessler and got ans machine, so I left message, 30 seconds after I hung up the phone he called back! Had a man out in about 1.5 hrs. It was not our 11 yr old heater, but a copper line, so that was fixed. We decided to go ahead and replace the old water heater while we were at it. We agreed they wud come back Monday and put in the new water heater and they did just that. The owner is the one that came back and put in the heater. The job was well done, they cleaned up after themselves and were friendly. I would use again and recommend to anyone.

I called Kessler Plumbing on Saturday night (approx 9 pm) due to a clogged kitchen sink drain and a leaky drain pipe. I spoke to the owner and he offered me the option to have someone come out that night or the next morning. I opted for the next morning. The plumber that came to my home called before he came and arrived a few minutes before the time I had requested via phone the night before. The plumber was very courteous and professional. He explained what action he was taking and why. The work took approximately 1 1/2 hours to complete and the charges were exactly what I expected based on my conversation with the owner the night before. The weekend plumbing service on my home was perform on time, at the rate quoted, and in a professional manner. I highly recommend Kessler Plumbing LLC.

Excellent. No problems at all but a lot of work for Gregg Kessler. He and his assistant were extremely polite and professional. They did an outstanding job in every respect and I would definitely use them again or recommend them to anyone.

Kessler provided the disposal and charged $80/hr. did th entire job within one hour. This is half the cost of other companies. OUtstanding job and will use this company again.

It was only a day or two before Thanksgiving and I was very impressed by their responsiveness, particularly toward someone who had never used them before. He came very promptly, worked very hard to fix the leak quickly, and even apologized that it took so long because the roots were so difficult to dig through. He would not take a break even though it was very hard work.

Quick service, very professional and price was what we expected. Also got some good advice. Will definitely use again.

Gregg is a great plumber and very polite. He took his time to answer all my questions. He also took my phone calls at anytime of day. I feel confident that the completion of my remodeling project is going to turn out great. I am just waiting on my countertops to be installed in Jan. to have him back out to complete his portion.

John did very good work. Price was very reasonable. Will use again.

Gregg Kessler was extremely helpful and polite for the first return phone call. After an original look at the property which has several leaks from older CVPV pipes in the attic, Greg gave estimates on both repair and whole-house replumbing. I was concerned about the holes needed in the walls to pull the new lines, but my concerns were unfounded. They did a neat job and offered to contract a sheetrock repair guy for a reasonable amount, though I was able to do those patches myself. Though I originally contracted for the pipes replacement only, I asked Gregg to install a new hot water heater, bladder valve, dishwasher, and various replacement bath fixtures. Though I did not even ask a price for this portion of the work in advance, I found the final bill to be quite reasonable. The whole job was done on time, very neatly, and to my complete satisfaction, even though there were several other subcontractors there that day(s). Thanks Gregg!

Gregg did an excellent job, everything works perfect...! He ran a new gas line from the line inside the garage which goes to my hot water heater, ran it to the outside wall, buried it into the ground, and then installed it into the house and firebox. He added a shutoff valve at the input in the garage, so I have one for the firplace as well as my existing valve for the hotwater heater. He used a stainless steel pipe which had an outside wrap that absorbs any potential lightning strike to prevent damage to the gas line. He then intalled the gas log, tested it out, and instructed me on how to turn the pilot on & off, relight it, how to raise and lower the flame, and how to use the remote which has an auto thermastat. The price he charged was very competitive to another quote I had received, although he used much more superior materials than the other contractor included in his estimate. Gregg's training and experience was very evident in his methods used during the installation. Plus he took the time to explain all that he planned to do, and answered all my questions throughout the installation. He and his helper, Rob, were very prompt, professional, personable, a great team, and cleanedup all work areas. Thanks Gregg, I love my gas log, adds so much ambiance to my room, makes the entire home cozy, including the upstairs. I will definitely contact Kessler Plumbing should I have any other needs.

Tried to find a plumber on Saturday after Thanksgiving, No one returned any calls. Found Kessler's Plumbing on Angie's list on Monday (they were available on Saturday). One simple call and they were scheduled, the same day. They were prompt, professional and efficient in performing their work as well as a quality job for a reasonable rate. If you know nothing about plumbing or are tired of no responses to your calls, this is your go to source.

I called for a second opinion regarding a plumbing leak under our home. Gregg answered the call and came out the next am. He gave me an explanation of how the problem would be fixed along with a written estimate and timeframe for job completion should I choose his company for the repair. His estimate was very reasonable and his professional expertise easy to appreciate. We chose to have the work done and Gregg completed the job very quickly and addressed several other things he discovered with our drain system without any change in the estmate. After completion he explained what was done, and what to expect should anything unanticipated occur. He also took the time to discuss how the remaining cast iron pipe under our home could be replaced when the time came. Throughout our experience Gregg exhibitted excellent customer service and communication skills, he arrived on time, completed the job in a timely manner and at a reasonable price point. We are extremely satisfied and will recommend him to others.

A leak was found under our master bathroom, but fortunately MOST of it was covered by our homeowner's insurance. A relative had recently used Kessler Plumbing at her home and business, and was quite satisfied with the work he did, both residential and commercial. We decided to give Greg a call and he came to our home within a few days to review what we needed done and work up an estimate. Greg made suggestions and recommendations. He was cost conscious, but didn't skimp on quality. More than just plumbing work needed to be done so Greg recommended a contractor with whom he frequently worked. Greg and the contractor coordinated with each other what needed to be done and when, and the job went very smoothly, and was completed well within the time period intially stated, in spite of the numerous changes my husband and I made as work progressed. Not only did Greg do great work, but he went above and beyond by doing a few "little things" like replacing a register which he had to modify to make fit, and he did it AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE!! We would definitely use Kessler Plumbing again.

Cracked toilet flooded my bathroom and bedroom. Brian came out and within two hours had the toilet replaced (he even offered to purchase a new one for me!). Came back two days later to repair a leaking outside faucet. These guys are awesome!

Our tenant informed us that she saw water by the dishwasher and suspected a leaky hose. We called Kessler, and within 90 minutes John was on-site taking care of the problem. He followed up with a call letting us know the issue had been taken care of and that our tenant was happy. Being out-of-state, it is a relief to know that we have a professional and knowledgeable plumber to call on when in need.

Well done. Both quotes were very close. We chose Kessler because they exhibited the most sincerity through the quote process and gave us tips on recovering some of our costs - after we told him we were going to gather more quotes. Greg Kessler just came across as a decent human being. And in the end, that is exactly what he is. The work was done quickly. They fixed some routing errors a previous company made when installing our tankless water heater (a whole 'nother story). The crew cleaned up after themselves, and our dogs made new friends. All in all a good end to a bad plumbing experience. Highly recommend.
