Description of Work: Installed light fixture in front entrance of my home

Description of Work: First of all, this is not an honest contractor. He was contracted to replace the windows, inside doors, and paint my house. In the process he caused over $20,000 dollars in damage to my house. He actually tore holes in the walls trying to remove the window trim. He painted the walls so badly that he left waves and stucco like lips. To have it repaired, they had to skim coat every thing he painted to repair the damage. He ordered the wrong size windows, that I had to pay for and get stuck with. The size he ordered did´nt even fit!! Every thing he touched needed extensive repairs to fix. His exact response was Ï gave you a good quote, you should´nt expect better work than this¨. | |He comes off as a nice guy, but he is not an honest contractor. But don´t believe my words, just carefully read his reviews and listen to what the people really say.

Description of Work: Sean was very nice and polite but things changed quickly. He didn't show up with materials necessary for job even though I emailed him with pics work to be performed. He didn't do any of the work himself. Everything that they "fixed" with the exception of the stair rail that I had to go behind and check on and the screen in my door was done poorly and I had to have someone else repair. He charged me for the time to drive with him to Home Depot. He practiced beyond the scope of his practice by doing electric work that he and his workers were not qualified to perform. He and his workers spent hours trying to fix the outlets in my kitchen then had to hire a friend who was an electrician to fix them. While he did pay for this, it was a hassle and time wasted. He also sent me a bill for extra time that he and his workers spent being inefficient and incompetent, expecting me to pay. Needless to say, I didn't. Please look him up on LLR, wish I would have, previous complaint for practicing outside scope of practice. Strategy seems to hook with 4 hour special and then charge for extra unnecessary work. Save yourself time, money, and hassle and hire a competent contractor.

Description of Work: Bathroom "refresh". Re-caulked, painted, installed new mirror, fan and toilet. They did a great job and exactly as I asked. They arrived on time with all the necessary materials and were very polite and professional. I have already asked them for an estimate to do more work in my house. I would recommend these guys to my friends.

Description of Work: seemed slow and did not complete workshop (granted special offer on 4 h time line), had to have someone else repair 3 switch plates they installed | |did put some IKEA furniture together for me--well done on that part of job

Description of Work: Poor work, did not complete job, sublet services to some teenage/young 20's kids who were fast but did not perform good work. I had to get him to redo... 2 times, and then it still wasn't right, so I just had to get someone else to do it. Paid ~$1100 of agreed $1500... and overpaid by $500 because of poor work! Would NEVER use again!

Description of Work: Helped my husband with some framing in the basement. Did a good job but worked slowly (pace wouldn't be an issue except the cost was for a specified number of hours rather than for a specific job) quality was good

Description of Work: He came out and looked at the property to give me a quote. Said he would be in touch. I didn't hear from him for about or 8 weeks. Hired someone else. Finally got an email out of the blue acknowledging that I'd probably forgot about him it had been so long. I didn't even answer the email.

Description of Work: Built handrails for 5 deck steps. Boss left, got lumber..gone well over an hour to Lowe's, less than 2 miles away. His helper did minor things. Screws showing thru wood, as if not tightened completely. Splinters where top rail screws were tightened maybe too much. Excess lumber i bought, was left, at my expense. Didn't pick up leftover chips/lumber or cement bags.
