My experience was fine. It all turned out well. They came right out to my home. There are no problems with the lock.

The service was excellent. Marie was very prompt in getting here once I called, she was here in about 20 minutes. She was very patient, professional, and persistent to get the job done.

Called Consolidated and they scheduled a person to come out the next day, first thing on the morning. The locksmith Edgar called ahead and confirmed that he was coming and approx. time. He showed up as scheduled and attempted to fix the lock, after some discussion it was deciding that replacement was the best course and he proceeded to replace the lock. The cost of the lock was relatively inexpensive. Edgar was very courteous and professional.

My experience went well. I was pleased with the outcome of the service and would recommend this company to others.

We told the locksmith exactly what needed to be done. It was a simple Public Storage lock and we lost the key. We received a quote for $75-$85, but when the guy did the job, he didn't tell us that it was going to be much higher -- $100. That's 25% more than the quote. I cannot believe someone this experienced could be so far off. If the quote was going to be that much higher, he should have told us before performing the job. I felt like we were taken advantage of because we described the situation very well, and it wasn't all that out of the ordinary. We've used locksmiths before, but never has a quote been so far off! We called the company but they were not apologetic at all, and said that the quote is only a quote. I understand that, but the company should have asked us BEFORE doing it, to make sure we were okay with the new price. Update: Great service recovery by Claire Lockbaum. Honored the original quote, gave us the 10% discount, and mailed us a check with the refund.

He bragged on himself too much. Said he was the only person qualified to do this job. However, he was very polite. In dire need of dental work. Gives off the appearance of a meth user. Based on his appearance only, I would not have let him in my house. He gained access only because of his identification. Not professional looking.

Everyone was excellent in their duties. The office even called me and send a refund for a small charge the technician made a mistake on. Use these people with complete confidence.

But in future if I need a locksmith, I will definitely call him again....

He was great, he was on time, he did what I asked and he really told me something else that I probably should have done and he did it. He was really good. He took longer that he thought he might have to but he stayed here and did it.

I bought the Big Deal on Tuesday and called on Wednesday afternoon to set up an appointment to have my lock fixed. By about 6:00 p.m. on the same day, the locksmith had come to my house and fixed the lock. Great service!

Service call placed and locksmith dispatched to our residence. Locksmith arrived in less than 1 hour. Locksmith was very professional and completed job in less than one hour. Extremely pleased with job. Would recommend this company to other Angie's list members.

Everything went like clockwork including explanations to the best and easiest method to assure this does not happen again and how to go about getting new locks and keys. No real details - Anthony explained everything and did what we had called Consolidated for--open the roll top and 2 drawers.

It was one of the best experiences i have had with a contractor. I called late Monday afternoon and asked them to come on tuesday and they were there right on time. I asked for one of the better knowledged emplyees and the owner himself came out to my home. He worked for hours trying to make it so I would just need a new key made, when everyone else I talked to said they would come out and just change the cylinder witout trying the less expensive way first. Even though he tried for hours to make my bill very small he ended up having to replace the cylinder. He allowed me to watch the whole thing and he explained each and every step he made which made me very comfortable in what he was doing. He got it fixed and the bill was less then what I thought it would be because of the many hours he spent working on the problem. Then after everything was done he took my remote to the SUV which was broken, and he fixed it and no additional cost. Now that's what I call and good man.

Excellent As a pet sitter, one of my biggest fears came to pass when I locked myself out of a clients home. The house key, my car keys, wallet and phone were locked in the home. After calling 5 locksmiths (on Angie's list) and no responses, I finally had a genuine voice on the phone who could send someone within the hour on a Sunday morning at 8 am. This company is now in my address should I need them in the future. They are truly a grade A company!
