They did an okay job. He seemed to know what he was doing. I don't have anything negative to say about him. I was pleased to get it fixed for $100.

We called another heating/cooling company for a promotional tuneup of our cooling/heating systems. We have furnace/air for our downstairs and a heat pump for our upstairs. They did some routine work and found a major problem with our heat pump system, wanted an arm and a leg to fix it. I called our home-owners warranty company who works with American Air Heating and Cooling. For the price of our deductible, American fixed it, timely and efficiently. Chris Jones did all of the work and I would recommend American and Mr. Jones for any heating/cooling challenges that you might have. A very clean neat job. He wore footies over his shoes when he came inside and removed all of the used parts. Some of the work that the competitor recommended was not necessary. I would guess that the competitor has to pay for their tv ? promotional advertising somehow. The work was done in Nov. 2013 and has been working fine since then.

We did not use American Air, and we will not call them for any services again. Whether it was a lack of knowledge of our Carrier system, or an attempt to take advantage of our situation (temperatures outside were in the single digits and we needed heat) - we were disappointed and do not trust this provider.

Called the warranty company around 8pm to submit an automated claim. Were told they were assigned the work order and would contact us in a few hours. We didn't hear back that night, and really didn't expect to. The next morning, they called around 8am and scheduled an appointment for between 12-2pm. Called ahead and arrived a few minutes early. Diagnosed the issue, provided guidance on future repairs (recommended an attic fan and gave an estimate) and were on their way. Only concern was price. The price quoted for the repair if we didn't have a warranty ($60 service call plus $260 for the repair) seemed higher than what our neighbors have paid for the same repair. But for us, didn't matter since under warranty.

Just purchased and moved into our home and had to call the home warranty to have someone come take a look at the AC which wasn't cooling the downstairs. American Air was the preferred service provider with our home warranty, and I was very skeptical. We had a home warranty in our previous home, and the preferred service provider was horrible. American Air was very responsive to our claim, and I had a call within an hour of submitting the claim. It was late on a Friday, so I wasn't expecting anyone to come out that day, but they scheduled me first thing Monday morning. They came out, fixed the problem, and even argued on the phone with our home warranty company because the home warranty was trying to deny the claim since we had just moved in. Chad was able to get them to agree to pay for the repair, and we had working AC within 20 minutes of him arriving. Very professional, and nice employees.

They came the morning after we called and determined what the problem was. A part had to be ordered so it was 2 days until they were able to do the repair but the came when they said and were prompt and courteous.

They are fairly flexible in terms of scheduling appointments. I like the way they are very proactive in replacing parts that needed to be replaced. They do a good job in servicing my machine. I have a service contract for a year and they come twice a year. If I have any service problems, they will come by and not charge for the visit, just for the parts. They come in the fall for the furnace and in the spring for the air conditioner. They are there when I need them.

They are the most helpful and professional people that I had dealt with in a long time. They tell you up front, they make an appointment with you, and they keep it. They had to order this huge part for the air conditioner. They called the next day and said that they were on their way. I like that.

They fixed incorrectly the first time or two, which was not very cool. We reported that things were not running right and they sent a technician out and he got it fixed and did compensated us for a better product. Than what we had originally paid for. It was a part and general maintenance. The maintenance was fine and the part was like 250 dollars. Their price seemed reasonable. I would consider using them in the future.

Service has always gone well. They show up on time and do a good job.

Our A/C Unit went out over the weekend. We had purchased a service contract with American Air in the past so I gave them a call on Sunday morning to attempt to schedule service. The operator told me they would page the on-call tech and the tech would call me back. Unfortunately I didn't hear anything the rest of the day so I called back around late afternoon and was basically told the same thing again. By the time it got dark we could tell the tech wasn't going to be calling back. I called again first thing Monday morning and was promptly scheduled for an appointment which was executed without flaw. I only wish they had been a little more forthcoming about their service during the weekend so we weren't waiting around for a service call that wasn't going to happen. I highly recommend them for service during the work week, but I would say their weekend service is spotty at best.

They came out on a Friday and worked on the old air conditioner that wasn't working. I told them to come back on Monday and put in a new air conditioner. The manager called me and said I owe him $760 for the work his guys did on Friday, even though I didn't want them to. He was very disrespectful to me.

They have been really good. I would use them again in the future if I needed to.

They came out in a timely manner and did everything. They got the air-conditioner fixed. The quality of their work was good.

I placed a warranty call for the condensing drain on my A/C unit. The first company assigned to the claim was unable to respond for four days, so the warranty company re-assigned the claim to American Air. They were able to respond the next day, which was impressive. When the tech showed up, he looked at the drain unit and confirmed it was clogged. Then he spent a long time outside looking at my A/C units. He came back inside and spent another 5 to 10 minutes working on the drain. I was working from home and trying to coordinate some meetings while he was doing the work. He interrupted me to tell me he was done and then began a sales pitch recommending some sort of chemical treatment for the unit for $300. I told him I wasn't interested at the time and he responded that if I didn't do it, the next time he came out for a warranty repair he would tell the warranty company to deny the claim because the units were not properly maintained. He did not explain how the chemical treatment was a part of regular maintenance, and what he described was unlike anything I had heard recommended from any other company in the past. I told him I wasn't interested and paid him. He documented on the ordert that he offered maintenance for $300 and I declined. Apparently his main focus of the visit was to try to upsell this service and not clear the clog because less than a week later the same drain was clogged again. I called the warranty company and they re-dispatched the same company who sent the same person. I was unable to be at the house at the time due to some medical issues. My 21 year old son was at the house when he arrived, along with my 16 year old daughter. The technician spent over 90 minutes clearing the clog, which seems to have lasted this time. While he was working, my son had to leave for work. The technician asked my daughter to sign the work order. On the work order he made a notation that he had offered, on that visit, to sell me additonal maintenance for $300 which I declined. I was not there that day and did not speak to him. The only person he spoke to was my 16 year old daughter. His documentation was an outright falsehood. Based on the seeming intent of this company to upsell services that are not clearly explained, and their willingness to attempt to extort business from their customers, even to the point of recording false data on their paperwork, I would recommend that you steer clear of this company.

It was a positive experience. They showed up on time, were professional and completed the work quickly.

Referred to this company by my 2-10 HomeBuyers Warranty Company. Bryan Williams (service manager) called before coming, was very professional, answered all my questions, and did a good job.

They are kind over the phone, respectful, prompt, very responsive, and do excellant work.

The air conditioner is working fine now. They were punctual and professional.

The technician explained the issue & gave a recommendation. It was easy to understand because he used layman's terms.

We had the same service guy both times. He was very polite and very accommodating. He was good about explaining things when we asked questions and did a great job.

They were very friendly when they were there working for me. They were very professional about the job when they were there. They had showed up on time to do the work. It was under warranty.

Logan has a top notch company. I didn't have to pay for the visit today as it was covered under the plan that we have. He does a great job and we will continue to use him. They always call me and let me know when it's time for them to come back out to service my units.

He was honest and didn't try to sell us something we didn't need at the time.
