Overall, my experiences with Dan and Stephanie were amazing. They are very responsive (will answer phone messages within several hours and emails same day). They are very professional and punctual and seem to be very knowledgeable about their craft. They were also very flexible with scheduling; basically anytime that was good for me was good for them. They showed up when they said they would and did exactly what they promised. We did the work in two phases, so I'll talk about them separately. 1. With all the heavy rain we had this summer, water was pooling in my backyard right in front of my crawlspace door (behind which I had just encapsulated and put a dehumidifier. Needless to say, I was desperate to get the water away from there. I contacted Dan and one other landscaper who dealt with drainage issues. They both gave me estimates for drainage solutions that were very different. Dan's was not only less expensive, but also made a lot more sense to me. The outcome was absolutely incredible. We've had several really strong storms since then, and I've gone out to check. Not only has the water been diverted away from the house, the gravel that they placed in the window well actually stayed dry. I have no idea how they did that! 2. The front yard landscaping looks wonderful and is a vast improvement from what was there before. They did all the work in one long day. The plants are (obviously) small, as I just had the work done. So far so good; still watering twice a day and they are doing wonderful. I plan on using Providence again to assist with further drainage under my driveway after I get gutters installed, and eventually landscaping in the back and side of the house. I've also asked them to help with my general yard maintenance and assistance with my grass. Definitely a very positive experience.

Dan and Stephanie and their helper were punctual to begin with and they worked very, very hard without stopping while they were here. When they were finished, I was very impressed with what they had done with the yard. They left no mess and things looked clean and spotless. My yard looked like a picture. I could not have been happier with their service. I will ask them to come back as I was so very, very pleased with them and their work.

Great service, worth every bit, communication was great and was prompt with his service. Called a few other providers and he couldn't be beat in my book. Everything met my expectations! I will use Providence again and recommend to others! Thanks!

Dan keeps the yard looking great all year. He stops by once a week in the summer, and less frequently in the off months.

Dan was professional and punctual throughout the entire operation and offered good suggestions about what to do with the yard. Six months later, the yard is still looking great and requires less maintenance. I haven't had any problems with water backing up since he fixed the drains.

Dan provided a competitive price and detailed the amount of time need to do the work. He showed up at the appointed time, giving a call hours before to confirm. The work done was clean and careful, leaving the work site fully completed. I would not hesitate to give him a 100% satisfaction rating. I am completely happy with the job that was done.

The company was efficient and friendly. They completed the work before the end of the day, and removed all trash & refuse, leaving me with just a beautiful yard. I would definitely hire them again, and recommend them to all needing this type of service.

Providence Landscapes and I have a schedule as to when they come out to do our lawn. If it's in the summer, they come once a week. In the fall into winter, we moved to twice monthly. Over winter, we didn't use them at all. They just did a big clean up of our planting beds. We're just starting back now on the more frequent schedule. I had been using another service and I wasn't happy with them. I found someone on Angie's List, but she referred me to Providence, because they did more work in my area. So it was a second hand Angie's referral. I was impressed right off, because he immediately took into consideration things that my previous lawn service never took into consideration and I never gave much though to it. He gives a lot of consideration to using the right mower so that it doesn't harm your lawn at all and if there is rain, he waits until the end of the day, to give the lawn the chance to absorb the water a bit before he starts to lawn. He was right on top of it. Their personal care and attention to little details just impressed me to no end. He's a small start-up company. When we had the most done this Spring, he and his wife both came out and they did a massive job of cleaning out old mulch that had mold. There was some more mold on some shrubbery trunk and they cleared that away too, so that it would be a little healthier. Just watching them with those details has impressed me so much.

Mr. Bantly responded quickly to emails and phone calls. He was notably responsive and worked extremely hard even in the heat of Summer. He finished the job on schedule and on budget. We were very pleased with his professionalism, responsiveness, and the overall result. He was very reasonably priced compared with other estimates we received. We would definitely use his services again.
