On time with plenty of communication. Worked hard through extremely hot weather in August. A two day job took three because of the heat and this clearly communicated up front. It was very heavy work that had to be wheel barrowed so it wouldn't crack my driveway. The young men working with Dan were very respectful and hard working. Both Dan and Stephanie are skilled and professional. More than one neighbor has had them provide estimates.

I have been doing business with this family for 5 or 6 years. I've always been pleased with every aspect of our relationship. They are on schedule and meticulous. I highly recommend this company. I have also seen some of their landscaping creations. From designing and planning flower beds to stone and water features. I intend to have them help me with planning and installation. They are pros.

overall not bad. Cut grass a little higher than I prefer. weed eating not so great. machine did not work well, areas missed. Not pleased with the weed eating. fair job overall.

The response to my query was fast and detailed instructions were taken for the trimming. The only problem was the owners were the ones that do the detailed work, as opposed to the general mowing, and he was tied up fo 4 weeks. Price was given. I agreed to everything but had reservations later re: the grwoth of the hedges so i contactrff them by E'Mail rgarding a quicker response. I got an answer immediately and was given the option of getting someone else or sticking with the agreement. I decided to sick with it. In due coarse,the Owner came and did a very good job-so good that I hired them to do the entier yard bimonthly.

As a Contracts Manager, I deal with dozens of contactors and rarely will a contractor get exceptional ratings in all business evaluation categories ? Quality of Product/Service, Schedule, Cost, Business Relations and Management. However, after doing business with Providence Landscapes, Dan and Stephanie Bantly and thier team easily deserve exceptional in all categories! Besides the excellent job they and their professional crew perform maintaining my lawn including detailed trimming around numerous plants and trees, I requested they help design all new landscaping including ripping out and planting new garden beds in the front and back of my house. Stephanie and Dan are very knowledeable about all types of plants - annuals, perrenials that will grow locally, seasonally and where to best plant them. The landscaping came out beyond my expectations - really colorful, beautifully layed out, easy to maintain and at a very reasonable cost. They're also very nice people, easy to deal with, very responsive and went the extra yard (no pun intended) every time they performed a job for me!

This is a very professional small business. They are prompt, courteous and they respond immediately to any concerns. Just emailed them with feedback for the way edging was done the last three times. They immediately emailed back saying that they track teams at different houses on different days - so they will be able to provide valuable training for their workers. Aces for their service and professionalism!

Amazingly well, every time! In more than two years, the contractor has not missed one service or made a single mistake. They are always on time, professional, thorough and take great care with our yard. We have many hoses and sprinklers out during the summer and they are always careful to coil them up and set them out of the way before cutting the lawn. I couldn't be happier with the work this contractor does. Their performance is truly outstanding!

This could have not gone more perfect and smooth from the first time my husband I met them and discussed the work to the end. We stayed in contact through email and text, I was appraised in a professional manner every step of the way as I waited anxiously for the day to arrive that we set to do the work. When the day came they went about their work, I was very comfortable having Dan and his wife working around the yard,working as if it was theirs and taking great care to replace any bed ornament as they finished even better than I had. Thank you so much, I look at my yard with pride and happiness. Yes they will be back, I will not have anyone else take care of my yard, because they care.

It went fabulously. First Dan came to the house, we told him what needed to be done, he took all the measurements; said he would email me the cost; he did so the following day; we set two dates in case it rained for the first date; which it did. He and the crew came on time, worked super diligently and got it done in 4 hours. The cleanup was absolutely great; Dan is professional; so is Stephanie, his wife, who also works with him. Couldn't ask for anything more. A great job; certainly will call them back when I need other yard work done.

From my first call, to the day they came to work in the yard I was very pleased with Dan and Stephanie. Although this is their busy time of year, Stephanie always emailed or texted me in a timely fashion. I am extremely happy with how my yard looks and will definitely use their services again.

On Wednesday, April 9th, around 1 p.m. I called the male owner of this business for help with yard work. I asked if he could come by and discuss what needed to be done in the yard and prices. This seemed to surprise him because he thought that he could just "come by" whether I was at home or not. He said that he would have his wife to call me and make the appointment. He led me to believe that I would receive a call back that evening or the next day. On April 11th, I called him and after 3-4 calls of not reaching him, he answered. He did not remember right off who I was or what we had discussed. He did apologize, however, it is always because "we have been so busy". He then said that he would have his wife call me back for an apt. At this time I told him that I was hoping to have some clean up done by this weekend at which time he informed me that there was no way that they could get me onto the list for at least 3 weeks. He seemed surprised that I would think that such a thing could be done. I was not wanting him to resculpture my lawn. I just wanted a clean up and to talk about future jobs. After all of the "big talking" that he did on the phone on 4/9/14, I was surprised. I guess I shouldn't be. Honest and ethical people are just too hard to find.

Dan and Stephanie did a great job. I have just purchased this property and the lawn has not gotten any attention for some time. They did everything I asked for and even took the time to discuss a few problem areas and possible solutions. I will definitely use Providence Landscapes for any future needs. Highly reccommend!!

Dan put it down nice and thick and the beds were all neatened up. He did a great job.

They were so easy to work with and really got involved to take the time to understand what we wanted and to make recommendations to insure our vision would become a reality. They were very concerned that we were always satisfied at every step in the process. They are highly ethical and professional, they gave us a detailed plan and estimate of what they would do, the quality of their work was outstanding, they charged a fair price and the price matched the estimate precisely, they showed up when they said they would and their customer service was outstanding. We can hardly wait for spring to stroll down the Flagstone pathway while looking at the butterfly/hummingbird garden they created. On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the highest rating (outstanding), we would give them a 10+++ and we highly recommend them to anyone needing Landscaping work done in Charleston.
