Provident Plumbing

Serviceman came to the appointment on time and with a refreshing attitude. He established exactly what needed to be done and went about completing the work. He quickly discovered the problem with my toilet and replaced the damaged parts. He then checked all the plumbing in the house and made some recommendations for future maintenance on the other toilets in my home. I would use this company again and would refer them to others.

The gentleman was very polite and appeared to do a thorough job of checking out my 3 toilets. The service was fine but I would not use them again because the estimate he provided was $269 to replace the flush system - I could buy a new toilet and have it installed for that price. The estimates the gentleman gave to do future service were extremely high so that is why I would not use them again.

The workman arrived on time. He was very thorough in assessing the problem. He even went into the crawl space where he found the main reason the blockage keeps ocurring, taking pictures to show me the problem. He did clear the blockage and gave me recommendations on how to keep it cleaned out without harsh chemicals.(We have a septic system) He recommended we have our plumbing lines redone. My only complaint was his disregard for cleanliness. I had to repeatedly tell him to wipe his feet and he left a muddy mess on my bathroom floor.

Arrived on time. Repairs were completed in a timely fashion. Add on cost of repairing hot water heater was a bit pricey, but he offered me a coupon to offset some of the expense. Very professional.

The two men arrived on time and performed the work in avery professional and timely manner. It took less than 30 minutes.

On time...explained what he would do...did it...also gave me a quote on any future plumbing issues we may run into, as well as coupons for us and friends/family.

Received email with coupon, called left message, was called back immediately. Arrived at scheduled time was courteous and informative. completed work promptly. Gave suggestions regarding do it yourself repair on one toilet that would save $$$. Appreciated the honesty and frankness of J.B..

These guys arrived quickly and took care of problem, I've paid probably 1.5 times the money and got 1/2 the service. I will deffinately use Provident again and would highly recomend them.

Service went very well. Wayne explained the problems I was having without trying to make it sound worse than it was. I was only charged for the work I needed.

Wonderful young man who knew what he was doing. One of the best plumbings I have had. Came on time. Called first.

we had already done the job ourselves but the plumber was willing to do it again to make sure we did it correctly. we thought they might be able to clean out the main drain in the house but not accessible due to the age of the house.

Overall it was a satisfactory solution, technician was able to find the problem and using the camera was an excellent source. However, the price to fix was just too far out of our budget.

I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF DOWNSIZING AND THEY WERE SWEET TO CALL MORE THAN ONCE TO WORK WITH MY SCHEDULE.. I CALLED TO SET UP THE APPOINTMENT AND THEY WERE ABLE TO DO IT THAT SAME DAY. YOU WILL BE HAPPY WITH THEIR FRIENDLINESS AND PROFESSIONAL WORK.

Not a good experience only because of scheduling. I do not really know how well they perform the work since I did not use them.Overall, Angie's lists has been more irritating than anyone with the constant emails about reviews.

He fixed a leaky toilet. It was an older model and parts were scarce, but he was able to complete the job, satisfactorily..

The service tech was prompt and professional. He was also very courteous. My problem was with the prices. I paid $99 to Angie's List for the service. I needed two things: a new hose bib or handle on the outside of the house repaired and I needed a leaking kitchen faucet fixed. They found a crack in the kitchen faucet body which was causing the leak. The hose bib had a stripped handle, so he replaced that at an approximate cost of about $50. Now I have about $49 to go toward a new kitchen faucet. I normally do this type of work myself, but was working long hours at the time and did not have the time to fix this. The tech came back to me with options on installing a new kitchen faucet. The range was from about $300 to $600! I used $50 of my $99 for a hose bib handle that costs about $3. Now, after applying the remaining $49 to the kitchen faucet, I would be stuck with a bill of $250! I told them that price was out of the question and that I would just cut my losses and install a kitchen faucet myself. I bought a $100 high grade faucet and installed it myself. I basically paid $99 to have a handle replaced on an outdoor hose bib. It seems as though these deals are just a way to get a service tech to your house to make even more money by offering you high cost fixes to your problems. I can say that the service tech was professional, well dressed, courteous and prompt. Beyond that my experience was not good.

They were able to give me an appointment the same day. When scheduling I had asked them whether buying the $119 for $200 big deal offered by them on angieslist was going to help and they said it will so I purchased it. They were supposed to call when on the way to ensure someone was home but didn't call. Good thing that I was already home. We have a crawl space so the fix had to be done from there as both lines into the room was being fed from the hot water line. I wish they had not known about the big deal purchase because I felt that the estimate to fix was a bit high. I guess the cost might have been lower if the big deal wasn't being used but I have no way of knowing that other than knowing that it took less than an hour to fix....and the other 2 companies I called would have been lower based on their hourly charge even if going with 2 hours to fix. The fix was done quickly and professionally. I would use them again for future needs except will have to rethink the use of big deals.

They also checked the other plumbing in the house and gave us an idea what we might need to do in the future. The serviceman was very polite and professional . He did not pressure us . He didn't even suggest other repairs that we might need. We will definitely call Provident if we have plumbing issues in the future.

Became aware of Provident Plumbing after purchasing a $25.00 Toilet Tune-Up package from Angie's List. What a great deal! Probably saved me $50.00 or more if I would have scheduled a normal service call. Bill was our Service Technician. He was very punctual, solved our problem, and cleaned up afterwards. The company followed up with a Thank You notice and even enclosed a discount coupon for my next service.

When I called Provident and explained the situation, the gal I spoke with was very apologetic and promptly offered to refund my money, which she did. I appreciated that I did not have another issue beside the water that greeted me under my house when I returned from vacation.

It worked out very well. I plan on calling these guys when I am ready for my bathroom remodels. While he was here he did a inspection of the plumbing in the house. He answered a lot of my questions regarding what I have planned for the remodel. I found them very professional.

The guy who came said there was NO fix because the toilet was just old. His only suggestion was a new toilet that they could do me "a deal" on so that it would ONLY cost $300. Because this is a toilet in a basement that would not be used daily, I decided this was not a worth investment. I have sense put a new fill valve/pump in by my self and the toilet works much better. This deal was not a deal I did not need to pay $25 to have someone "inspect" the toilet to tell me it was old and give me no solution other then $300 on a new toilet. If you just want a $300 toilet installed then this company is for you, other then that save your money and your time.

Everything went smoothly from start to finish. Even when the plumber discovered that some repair work had to be done beneath the old commode, the work was done impeccably and the price quote was fair.

He showed up on time, was courteous, knowledgeable, and very professional. We would certainly use them when future plumbing needs arise.

Everything was A+ and I enjoyed their service.
