Emergency Services Offered
Services we offer
Plumbing, Leak Repair, Water Heater, Gas Line Installation & Sewer.
Provident Plumbing was recommended to me by a friend. A plumber was out within one day of my call. He replaced the old heater and hauled it away at a good price. No complaints about the service, and everything has run smoothly since. My husband and I are planning a kitchen remodel in the next six months, and we plan on using this company again.

Took Provident 5 days from call to come to repair leaks in two different bathrooms. Then they called two days later to ask if it was okay to push appointment time further into the day so plumber could take care of "personal business". Andrew came to fix problem. He had to leave TWICE to go get the fixtures. Then it turns out that he punctured a hole in one of the bathrooms walls where he installed the one of water valve turn offs. He failed to tell me about it and I did not notice it until after the bathroom was totally repaired several weeks later. Sent an email to company explaining this with pictures of damage. They have TOTALLY ignored me and will not return my phone calls. I also would like to say that I could never talk to the owner or manager of Provident whenever I had to call the company. Had to talk to some lady who told me that she was working from home "most days" and only went in to the office a couple of days a week. Most of the time when you call, you get the voicemail, which to me is not very professional. Since my job with them involved an insurance claim, I needed an itemized invoice. It took 3 phone calls and me getting pushy with the lady on the phone in order to get what I needed. I will never use this company again and would never recommend this company. Looks like I will never to take this company to small claims court to get them to repair damage to walls since they cannot be reasonable and fix their mistake on their own. BTW, the River Road number is no longer working so you have to go to the website in order to find the new address and new phone number.

HORRIBLE!!! The owner came to my house and quoted a price for a new main water line to be run under ground into my garage, then plumbed through me garage floor into my water input. he sent a worker to dig a small hole at the source in my yard, and did ABSOULTLY nothing else! The boring company came and bored from the source along the side of my house less than 12" under ground leaving 14" of unusable outdoor space to landscape. The work happened in the first week of July. November we had a freeze and I had no water due to the frozen line HE installed. I tried to work with him - HIS attitude was too bad, so sad. 4 months later, I contracted another QUALITY plumber who preformed the same work as Provident was supposed to do. Coincidentally, the same boring chief came to do the exact same work as Provident plumbing was supposed to do advised me that he did the work explicit defined by Provident. I spoke with the owner of the boring company to confirm Provident's contract and it was confirmed. I paid for the initial job to Provident, paid the same boring company twice, and the new plumber to complete the job. Provident is - in my opinion Provident is a scam of a company. I would NOT hire them to change a screen in my faucet. BE AWARE OF PROVIDENT PLUMBING! In hindsight, I should have taken him to small claims court. Even though I was unemployed at the time and I had a legitimate complaint....that is not who I am.

Travis was the technician that came to my house to perform the work. The office called me saying he would be arriving between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. and that he would call when he was on the way. Sure enough he called and arrived promptly at 2 p.m. He was able to immediately discern where the leak was coming from and dug out where he needed to in order to replace the broken piece of line. He replaced the very wet mud and then replaced the sod he had removed over the disturbed area. In addition, he protected the surrounding sod from all of the mud by placing a pad on it before digging commenced. Today, one day later, one can hardly tell that the yard has been dug in that location. I'm very pleased that the leak was repaired so efficiently and quickly. On another note, Travis advised me that if I would send the paid invoice to the water company, they might reimburse for part of the past two months of increased water bill. I emailed it to them this morning and just heard back from them that they will be making an adjustment to my next invoice. Thank you, Travis, and thanks to Provident Plumbing for having such well trained and professional employees.

It was fine. I let him in. Its in the crawl space, its where we have the water heater and so I just let him in there. Then they go about doing their annual maintenance. They drain it and make sure that there is no lime and do all the different stuff you ever have to with a continuous water heater. They are good and efficient. They are not here that long. In fact I will be having them in June.
Description of Work: They come out once a year for service on my water heater. Or they will come out if I have a problem, say I have a leaky toilet or something. They come out and do that too and do any other plumbing work.

During the freeze in 2014, Provident Plumbing was the only company who could respond immediately. They came out within hours, located the broken pipe, cut the dry wall, replaced a portion of the pipe and cleaned up after themself. Very professional. I used them again later in the year at my grandfather's home to locate a leak from outdoor well to the house.

The person who came out was very professional. Since I had already looked at everything prior to having them out, I knew there was no leak, just the running. Since that was such a quick and easy fix, it would have been nice if he had looked at one of my other toilets also, but that was what the coupon was for.

Its complicated. I had a home warranty co out there first who diagnosed the problem as the gas regulator but they could not get the part for 7 to 10 days. As such I canceled them and hired Provident as I had used them before. Long story short is they replaced the gas regulator but then said water may be dripping on the pilot light shutting it off. They recommendded a new unit. So back to the home warranty co who sent another co for a second opinion. He changed the the thermal coupler and it is still working two weeks later. Now Provident may have misdiagnosed but the moral of the story is they didn't charge me a dime for two trips out there and a gas valve. I!n not sure why the misdiagnosis by two contractors but I'm grateful to Provident for not charging for their error. Their original charge was $330 but I didn't pay anything so I was happy for that. At least they owned up and left me a happy customer. So thank you

They were very prompt, and very respectful. They installed a new water heater outside of the house and built a house around it. They got a late start and worked until around 9pm. I thought the price was high, but in fairness to them, they encouraged me to call other providers It was quite high though. I did find a couple of screws around the heater the next day, but overall they did a good job.

Now I have an open trench with an old sewer pipe leaking sewage into my yard. I have to finish what the plumber started. I called the landscaping company that takes care of my yard. Good news for me, he has experience in this area. It took him six hours to finish the job as I had kept asking and the inclination was LESS THAN A QUARTER (1/4) INCH not the estimated 18 inches. Angie's List asked, "Would I use this company again" NO and I will try to forget them. IF YOU USE THIS COMPANY THEN YOU DESERVE THE SERVICE YOU GET. I have over 40 pictures to support my review.
Description of Work: I contracted to have a portion of my sewer pipe replaced, about 45 feet. The ground was dug up down to the old sewer pipe. When digging reached the "L" shape in the pipe the digging stopped. Then the plumber started to try an "up sale" me a sewer pump. He stated that the new inclination was going to be very high, 18", I told him to finish removing the old pipe and lay the new pipe. He started laying the new pipe in the trench on top of the old pipe. As the new pipe was laid dirt was put over the old pipe. This procedure was indeed going to create an "18" incline. Again for four more attempts the plumber tried to sale me this pump. I repeated over and over, "Clean out the trench of dirt and old pipe then lay the new pipe in a clean trench. He kept adding dirt and trying to sale me a pump. He went to lunch, took 1 hour. Upon his return, the first words out of his mouth was, "Well have you thought it over and decided about the pump?" I thought to myself,"(Is this man dense or what?"). Again for the sixth time I told him to "Clean out the trench of dirt and old pipe then lay the new pipe in a clean trench." At this point he stated, " I cannot no longer do this job until you buy a sewer pump>" I told him to get his boss here now. Then he and his associate went and sat in their truck for over two hours. (To me it looked like they went on strike.) After 45 minutes of waiting I asked how much longer until the boss will arrive. I was told about 8 minutes. At the 1 hour mark of waiting I was done with this company. I called the Sheriff and asked that a Deputy be sent to my home. I explained to the Desk Sergeant my situation and I wanted this company off my property "quick and fast" peacefully. The Deputy arrived before the boss did and everything went very peacefully and civilized. The plumbing company quickly cleaned up their property and prepared to leave. I paid them for work they had accomplished then they were gone.
