Description of Work: The great thing about them is they detail their service according to your lawn. If you have a crap load of weeds then you will see them more until they regulate your issue.

 + -1 moreThey are cheaper than other companies. They are on time and do not forget appointments when I call them. When I am not at home also they perform their job and leave the invoice on the door so I can pay later. I trust and would highly recommend them. I would use them again in the future.

 + -1 moreI like the fact that they are very punctual. They are always here unless it is raining and then if it is they do call and they reschedule. What I also like is they give me a reminder call the day before in the form of a recording to let me know that they are coming out the next day to treat the yard so that I don’t forget because I have to have the back gate or whatever unlocked. They are very professional. They just come, get the job done and go. I have never had a problem. I spend $90 a month. The guy who comes out is very friendly. I have watched him in the yard doing what he is supposed to be doing and he puts the chemicals and everything that he is supposed to. I would continue to use them in the future.
Description of Work: I use Scotts Lawn service to treat the yard. They come out and they treat the grass every month for weeds and things like that. They don’t do the cutting. We do it ourselves.

 + 0 moreWe had another lawn service company service our lawn before, but they were bad. They couldn’t get rid of any weeds. So we called Scotts Lawnservice, they came in and the lawn looks great since. They are a lot better than their competitors are.
Description of Work: I use Scotts Lawnservicefor lawn care and lawn fertilization. They charge a little over $500, annually for several different types of seeding and weeding. They come out once a month. They last came out last month.

 + -1 moreSo far so good. This was our first application by them. Will update the report in a couple months. Pesty broad leafs are dying off - not hard to do that but it's a start. Only disappointment is that they don't do pre-emerge on the garden beds, so I'm Preening them myself. Oh well.

 + -1 moreI would rate them very low. I have had them for several years and up to this year I was satisfied but now they are difficult to deal with. They have not treated the parts of my yard that they were contracted to treat and they charged me the full amount even though they have done only parts of my yard. After many phone calls they finally did refund half the money I paid them for the services they did not provide after many phone calls. I had an appointment scheduled with them recently and the technician didn?t show up so they get the lowest rating I can give. I will not use them again in the future.

 + -1 morevery poor customer service, especially considering we were a long time customer. We have probably recieved at least 15 phone calls from their corporate billing department, even after I told them to quit calling us.. Do not use them
Description of Work: We used TruGreen services for approximately 16 years. We paid approximately $45 a month for about 8 months for 16 years. We had two brown spots on our lawn for about 2 years. They never told us we had a fungus infection. Our neighbor told us. We contacted a different lawn service and they diagnosed and treated our fungus infection with good results. I called TruGreen to cancel our service with them and to pay my balance. I gave them a credit card number. About a month later we were called by their collection agency about a balance due. I explained what had happend and called our local provider. They could not find a record of my credit card payment, which I did give to them earlier. I then wrote a letter explaining what had happened and included my balance check and a copy of the other costs we had to incur due to their poor service. I was contacted by Roger at the local office and was told that indeed none of the service reports stated we had a fungus and that I was being taken advantage of by the other lawn service. I replied that it did not matter what he was saying that our lawn looked 100% better since discontinuing their service and using another. I also asked that they please notify the corporate billing office that I had sent a check and did not have a balance. Roger said he would let them know, that the calls would stop and he was returning my check for the balance. He also reminded me that we were being taken advantage of by a service that was significantly improving a situation they had ignored. Today at 8:15 am I was called again by the corporate collection company telling me that I had a balance with them. I then called TruGreen and told them and then promplty filed a complaint with the BBB. I called Trugreen this afternoon and spoke to Roger again, after being on hold for 8 minutes, he told me he had no control over the corporate billing department. I responded that if I get one more collection call, I will put an ad in the paper about their harrassment. He told me that threats did not work with him. I then asked him about the check he was going to return to me and he said it would be in the mail, obviously he had not followed through on that either. I would never recommend this company to anyone for any reason, they are incompetent and have very poor customer service and have NO CONTROL over the billing department.

 + -1 moreWhen I set up my account, I asked them to notify me when they would perform a service so I would know my credit card was being charged and they did not. I called the company and it was not notated in my file even though I specifically asked to be called so my credit card was charged twice within about three weeks. Gave them a second chance. Employee came to my house and told me I needed to have my shrubs sprayed because of some kind of insect eating them. Told me it would be $49.99 to spray all of my shrubs. Called me two days later to confirm they would spray and it would be $49.99 for each application for a total of 3 applications. Thw as the second time I was told one thing and later it was something different. Cancelled my contract immediately.
Description of Work: Put fertilizer on my lawn, then followed up with limestone and then put another liquid fertilizer on the lawn.

 + -1 moreThey come out about 8 times a year. I would advise people to keep shopping. Their price is much too high. Last year they killed my wall-to-wall grass. I called the guy in charge. He came and looked at it. Then we went back and forth for about a week. Finally they came out and replaced every inch of it. They knew they did wrong. They would come out and throw chemicals on it without even looking at what they were doing. I will probably replace them.
