Description of Work: Called for HVAC check-up before the start of the rental season. Found that we needed a new system. We did not go with them for a new system because we got a much better price from another company.

Description of Work: Checked a/c system and determined the system was 3 pounds low in Freon, the $65 fee included 1 pound of Freon BUT the other 2 pounds would cost about $350. Simple math tells me that the low inspection cost (+ a pound of Freon) may be a "get me in the door" thing. I feel they should be "up front" on the ACTUAL price of the work and material.

Description of Work: Changed a circuit board on a heat pump/air conditioning unit in a rental condo.The initial diagnosis was prompt and they managed to get the AC working. Ordering of the part took 2 weeks. The actual labor time to change it was approximately 20 minutes, and I questioned the quoted labor charge which was in excess of $250 .they said the labor charge was standard, independent of the time necessary to change the circuit board. They made an adjustment which I felt was fair. Generally OK.

Description of Work: I purchased the special, through Angie's List, to have my air conditioning tuned up. The Technician was very professional and thorough. He explained what he did. I was very pleased with the work done. I even purchased a yearly contract to have my heating/air conditioning tuned up on a regular basis. The whole experience was great as well as the price, quality of work and professionalism.

Description of Work: Disappointed that by taking the offer on Angie's List I was no longer elibible for their offer of $119 maintenance for the year with the visit included....they told me that because I went through Angie's List I could not have the visit included in the plan. My sister had them the week before, paid $69 for her aircondition maintenance which was included in the $119 yearly maintenance plan.....Angie's List should be more upfront about stuff like this......except for this I was very satisfied with their service......please reply...thanks

Description of Work: One Hour replaced our HVAC system. We had some problems after instulation, but they responded immediately and diagnosed and fixed the problem. They also stood by thier no frustration guarentee and gave us a $500.00 refund. |The technicians were very professional and answered all our questions.
