We are currently in a newly constructed home and are obligated to use the original HVAC company as long as our one year warranty in place. Once that warranty is over, we will consider utilizing One-Hour again.

Description of Work: We have a condo in Myrtrle Beach where the ac unit is in the celling. One evening water started dripping from it, so we called One Hour. The air condenser needed to be cleaned. They were there in two hours to fix it for us. Great customer service!!

Description of Work: I used One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning when I first moved to the Myrtle Beach, SC area two years ago and continue to use them. In fact, because I like the service so much, I joined their monthly club which provides me with maintenance service for both my heating and AC at no charge and waves the service charge if I call them (which I have) when a problem comes up. I would recommend both the company and the monthly program to everyone.

Description of Work: Tuned up our heat pump which seems fine. However, the man who came used our outside hose and broke our automatic hose reel and neglected to tell us. It had cost us over $100. We cannot prove he was responsible, but we know it was definitely him. No one else touched it and it worked fine a few days before. Also, a complaint we have is that he hounded us about getting our ducts cleaned though we kept telling him we did not want it done. We have researched and have found that this is not necessary unless you have an unusual major problem in your ducts such as an insect infestation or something of that sort. He was truly obnoxious about it. We have a monthly contract which we are going to cancel.

Description of Work: The service person recharged the coolant and inspected the air conditioner. He made mention about changing the air filter, but never did. There were painters in my condo at the same time the air conditioner was being fixed. The service person suggested that I purchase the filter and the PAINTERS replace it. I feel that his suggestion was absurd since he was on site and more than likely had a replacement filter. Furthermore, I have a SERVICE contract and I expect that for the amount charged the service person should have been more forthcoming and replaced the filter. I am awaiting a response from you. I am giving serious thought to finding another service contract with another company.

Description of Work: Paid $11,000+ for new AC system in November. Still not working correctly, 3rd-party pro found long list of install deficiencies. Now One Hour wants us to pay an additional $9,000+ to HOPEFULLY make the system they sold us work correctly!

Description of Work: They replaced all damaged heating/cooling machinery after our being flooded. Including all duct work. It was supposed to turn cold the next day and they had three trucks here working from 8:00am until 10:30pm to insure we would have heat.

Description of Work: Seemed to be a good group, but spent more time trying to sell me a yearly membership, and the items they listed to be in fault, where not in fault when I called another provider. It seems that neither was providing accurate diagnostics. |And I am still with a unit in question.
