Jim Hoctor was very professional and timely. He inspected the roof, took pictures of the damage, and explained what repairs were needed, As there were questions about the skylights, Jim got the manufacturer to my home to inspect the skylights for warranty. As it turned out, the skylights were in perfect order and Allrestore removed some packing film which had been left on the windows by the original installers. Mr. Hoctor took his time to answer my questions, went over the pricing, and went out of his way to make sure I understood all. The pricing was reasonable , and the area around my home was left neat and tidy. I will use Allrestore Contracting again, and I am happy to recommend this company.

Allrestore did a great job from a return phone call with in 20 min of initial contact. Bob met me the next day and helped me understand best options for a new roof. He discovered hail damage and agreed to meet with my adjuster anytime. Roof was covered by insurance and Allrestore had a crew out the next few weeks and in one day took off old roof, made some minor repairs and installed new shingles! Did I mention all in one day! Great job, would recommend to anyone. Thanks for your help Bob!

First, I would like to point out that many companies use/abuse the phrase " customer service is job one"; however, Allrestore Contracting actually applies this technique in all aspects of their interactions with the customer from my initial contact, to signing a contract, to performing the work, and finally, their dedication to cleaning up the entire work site. I cannot say enough positive things about this company and its team of highly qualified and conscientious employees. From sitting down with the Jim, the project manager, to job completion, everyone was extremely professional and dedicated to insuring that everything was done to my satisfaction.

I recently purchased a 21 year old house in the Surfside area of Myrtle Beach which still had it's original roof. Realizing I may have coverage issues with my insurance company I looked on Angies list and called Allrestore Contracting and another major roofing company in the area in September. Both companies came out, climbed on the roof but Mr. Hoctor's 30 picture and several pages report was the most detailed of the two. The inspector I paid $300.00 dollars to inspect the home did'nt find a fraction of what Mr. Hoctor found. When we finally met on the 10th of October 2014 he educated me on what was wrong with my roof due to age and original construction in layman's terms. Mr. Hoctor is a real people person who is a pleasure to talk to who doesn't give you the bums rush to try to sell his product over another company. His knowledge and professionalism speaks for itself. I never heard one negative comment about the competition, just facts I could understand We signed my contract on a day that fit my schedule since I still live four hours away on October 10, 2014 .He then scheduled my roof replacement on two days that fit my schedule on October 17 and 18, 2014. His crew was prompt and courteous this last weekend. They covered all my bushes and new fence and constantly cleaned the yard during the process. Mr Hoctor supervised the entire job and answered all my questions during the whole phase of the job. He was there the whole two days, all around the house . Being a do-it-yourself kind of guy and having some experience in construction believe me I asked a lot of questions. Jim Hoctor did two things that blew me away during the time his crew was feverishly replacing my roof. On the first day he was so approachable my elderly widowed neighbor came over for help with her front door storm door and he came along to help. The next day I left my car in the garage knowing their trailer would block it in. I figured I would get a late breakfast after they finished since they were so close the first day. Mid morning knowing they were going to be a little longer than expected, Jim went and bought me a take-out breakfast from my favorite restaurant. I still can't get over it. If your looking for a company that is competively priced, experienced, curteous, professional and a pleasure to deal with then I recommend Jim Hoctor with Allrestore Contracting. I will use him again.

I was unsure at first dealing with any roofing contractors. Bob from Allrestore made the whole process from start to finish very smooth. He went over the job from the tear off to the final details. He made sure to explain the important quality issues that his company would attend to insure I would have a long lasting roof. They completed the job in a timely and efficient manner. I would recommend them to anyone.

We needed to replace a 20 year-old roof that was not leaking but was showing signs of wear. The house is one story and over 4000 sq ft. I got three quotes which were all about $16000. Jim Hoctor was clearly the most professional and knowledgable of the three people who provided quotes. He spent at least an hour inspecting the roof, taking pictures, calculating ventilation needs, etc. and then provided a detailed quote of the work to be done. Jim's crew showed up exactly when scheduled and the work was performed on schedule with no surprises. Jim personally supervised the project to make sure everything was done correctly. Jim even asked when the kids bedtimes were so that his crew could stop work each day before then!

Jim Hoctor and his associate arrived when promised (as soon as the rain stopped) and completed the job in a timely manner. It appeared that the job was done properly and I look forward to having him return to restore our porch railings (front and back) and some rotten flooring (front and back). Just waiting for his estimate.

Allrestore was very easy to work with, Jim was on time and the job was completed as planned. It was a pleasure doing business with someone who does what he says. It was very important to use someone we could trust because my primary residence is out of town. My new roof looks great with no mess.

We didn't shop around for competitive pricing because I was please with Jim's response and explanation of what he found. I felt his quote was in line and didn't need to compare. The house belongs to my 86 year old mother in law and Jim gave her a 10% Senior Discount. Jim was able to fit us into his schedule the same week and kept me constantly updated with when they could be on our job. The workers were noticeably experience and efficient. Started and finished the same day. They cleaned up well after the job was done. Before the workers left, Jim himself went back on the roof to inspect the work. I waited for a good rain and had a return stay in the hospital causing me to delay in writing this review. All is good. No more leak. I would definitely recommend Allrestore. If however you have a major replacement it would be wise to at least compare price with another good competitor. Even if Allrestore is a little higher I would go with them because I don't think you will be disappointed.

Within a day after contacting Jim he was able to come out and give us an estimate. He was on time for our meeting. It was about 3:00 on a hot afternoon he was up on our roof measuring and chalking out roof imperfections (tears, ect.) taking pictures to show us any findings up there and measuring our roof. He explained they would use a waterproof rubber base on the flat parts of the roof (porch and shed) and all the roof valleys. The next day he met us at home to help us pick out the roof color and sign the contract. Again he was right on time. The crew started a week later. It took them only two days to complete our roof job. Jim was there the whole time supervising the crew and coordinating all the materials involved. It was a very smooth operation. I noticed the crew would be cleaning up continuously. By the end of 2nd day all trash, nails, paper ect. were cleaned up when they were finished. The next morning I found only 4 missed nails around the house. Allrestore Contracting did a excellent job on our new roof. They worked quickly and at the same time demonstrated quality work. Not to mention they showed up on time! Jim knew the roofing business in and out. He honored the $250 rebate. He also gave us a $50 credit for a piece of plywood they did not have to use. How many contractors would do that on a turnkey job?

From the very beginning communication was easy, clear, thorough and professional. All our questions were answered thoroughly and courteously.. They showed-up on time and the entire crew worked together and finished in good time. We have already recommended Allrestore to our family and friends. There was not a negative aspect the entire time.

Allrestore did an excellent job and Jim Hocter is very professional. I was not sure if I need to replace my roof or repair some shingles we lost in a recent wind storm. Other contractors said I needed a new roof although the roof is only 15 years old. Jim recommend repair and maintenance was sufficient and would give me another 5 years at least. I also asked Jim for a replacement cost and he was 20% less expensive than the other contractors. I was impressed with his effort to inspect the roof and provided pictures for me to consider what needed to be done. During the process, I also asked about power washing the house and he provide a very reasonable quote for that too. I am sure my roof will last another five years at least with his efforts and will certainly call him back when I need another quote. I would recommend him to anyone.

Jim and his team went to work this week to replace our 20 year old roof. The care and attention to detail was amazing. When they were finished the cleanup was such that you would not know they were there. Jim also handled all of the contact with the Insurance Company to arrange for payment from the Hail Damage. If you are considering roof replacement or would like a no obligation inspection, Jim is the man to call. You will be glad you did...we are;)

A neighbor used Allrestore to replace their roof. We watched as they did such a professional job that we asked for an estimate for our own roof. Jim and Bob made a separate trip to measure and photograph our existing roof, making note of significant problem areas. They returned for another visit with a quotation and information on Certainteed product options. We did obtain other estimates, but decided on Allrestore. They returned with color samples that we set up on the front porch steps to compare in the natural light and make sure we liked our color choice. On the date of installation the crew arrived promptly and began to work. Before removing any shingles, they walked around the house looking for areas in need of protection - plants, A/C unit, pool enclosure and such. They covered every area with tarps to catch the shingles as they were removed, saving the shrubbery and saving cleanup time. The crew attacked the roof with a well-coordinated effort. It was obvious they were very experienced and had worked together many times before. As one part was cleaned off, another began to move shingles into place and begin to rool roofing paper. The front of the house was completely done within a few hours and had only a small section remaining for the next morning. The next day the crew worked through a rain delay and still completed the installation within the expected time frame. Cleanup began as soon as they started and throughout the project. Even so, they took extra care at the end of the job to make sure every piece of paper, every nail, and other materials were picked up. When the job was done, the crew waited while we all made a thorough walk-around to make sure everyone was satisfied.

After a horrible experience with a different roofing company (A ffordable Best Roofing) I joined Angie's List and found Jim Hoctor at Allrestore Contracting. Jim responded immediately to my call and came to our house the very same day to give us an estimate. Jim was very thorough and took the time to photograph the current state of our roof and show us the images to explain and help us to better understand what needed done and what his services would provide. After receiving several other estimates, Allrestore Contracting earned our business due to their highly qualified team of certified installers and exceptional customer service. Jim even made a separate trip over to our house to bring larger shingle samples to ensure that I was happy with my color decision before placing the order. Our roof was completed in a timely manner and well within the short time-frame that we required --- for insurance purposes. Jim kept me updated throughout the entire process from expected delivery to rain delays and final installation. His team did an excellent job on the installation of our roof as well as removal of nails and debris upon completion. We were very happy with the Allrestore Contracting team and would highly recommend their services to anyone in need of an honest and trustworthy contracting company.

My folks were in need of a roof replacement and quite by chance their new neighbor happened to be an exterior contractor. We did obtain 3 bids and we felt Jim offered the most informative and professional service. It took a while to get things moving due to the time of year and horrendous weather we were having. But the day finally came to complete the job and all went without a hitch. We are very happy with how well the guys worked as well as how clean they left everything. True to his word, would use Jim again.

We had contracted Allrestore to replace our roof as well as add siding to an older home. Jim went through a lot of time and detail educating us on everything from his perspective. When it came time to do the job, it was a one person job as the house is small. The gentleman was very precise and detailed oriented in making sure the siding was well placed. It took him two full days and by the time he finished, we didn't recognize our house anymore. Very well done! Cleaned up behind himself and very kind. Would use Allrestore again for future jobs!
